This is an eclectic little place with an awesome coffee menu. I had the Mexican Volcano iced and it was really, really good! I also got a piece of the cinnamon coffee cake which was very tasty. I will definitely visit again!

Coffee was good! My drink was smaller than I expected — or maybe I just drink way too much coffee. But decently priced, great décor and quiet for studying. I would definitely come back :)

DV8 was just what I needed! When I thought a gas station was my only option for local coffee, this cozy shop came to my rescue with a smooth dark roast for a great price. The barista was friendly, helpful, and seemed to know her customers as well as her roasts.

If I lived in Greensburg this would be a frequent stop. I think the boy and I drink enough coffee to be able to decide if a place is good or not and this is def a keeper. The owner is one of the nicest people I think I’ve ever met at a coffee shop. She was WONDERFUL. We asked if there were any good places to eat and she spent a good half hour telling us about the different options and why she liked them and how much they were and how to get there and if there was anything unique about the place. w couldn’t recommend this place anymore, the coffee(or hot chocolate in my case) was awesome and the service was phenomenal.

I came here this morning and got a Blueberry Muffin and a Mocha Latte. I asked for skim milk, which they didn’t have, but as it was explained to me, every time they would order skim milk, it would go bad because of not enough business. So, come on people, give this place some business so they can have some skim milk again!!! Nevertheless, the mocha was very tasty. More of a darker roast espresso than I’m used to, but I liked it. They don’t really have any breakfast sandwiches, or any sandwiches for that matter. This is just coffee and some teas and a few goodies. I loved the décor inside though. Paintings and artwork abound! Really quirky, cute interior. Also, the muffin was pretty tasty!

DV8 is a little pocket of cool in a town chock-full of lame(though it’s improving!) Hopefully it’s a sign of what’s to come, as Greensburg becomes more and more of a college town. Nice atmosphere, and a rare place where you can go and other patrons will actually chat it up with you! Who would think that folks would go somewhere and be social outside their group in this day and age? The combination of coffee, tea, and art is a winning mix. And there aren’t too many other places around where you can get maté served traditional-style. DV8 is definitely a cool place.

DV8 Espresso Bar and gallery is really the only place in Greensburg to get a real shot of espresso or natural loose leaf tea. They go above and beyond what any of the chain coffee houses offer in product, service, and atmosphere. They offer a huge variety of drinks(both hot and cold) and baked goods(from local establishments in Greensburg). The space is dualistic and works as both a coffee house and a gallery with not only regular showings, but musical groups, a knitting night, philosophical discussion groups, and an outdoor movie night. The events are well planned, include the community, and are almost always appropriate for all ages. The gallery openings are very intimate and a great way to integrate yourself into the local art scene and meet new people. The clientele are varied and almost always friendly, as well as the staff who are artists themselves. The prices are low and they accept both cash and credit(minimum $ 5). They sell various art and crafts items there as well as coffee and tea to take home. One of the best things about the place is the music, not only do they have a huge selection of cds that they play, but they have a variety of music. From Miles Davis, to Billie Holiday, to Prince, to Clutch. It’s always interesting and new. I can’t say enough about how friendly, laid back, and comfortable the space is. If you’re new to Greensburg and want to know whats going on around town this is the place to go to.
