Overboards Restaurant

Ehh.
Food is as outdated as the servers and furniture.
Time to reinvest, retrain and step it up.
The dinning room is so outdated and the chairs are so uncomfortable I’d rather stay home.

We needed a restaurant in this rather thinly populated area to take our niece out to dinner. My son booked it based on its website. We checked it out in the afternoon and the outside was inauspicious, but we decided to give it a go. We are so glad we did! When we returned for dinner, the parking lot was full. The menu offered a lot of interested and nicely spiced dishes. My son and I had prime rib, medium rare, which was perfect. My niece had a salmon dish, my husband a cod dish, and my daughter-​in-​law had a shrimp/​crab dish. Everyone polished off their food, except the rib and cod, which was too much. The meals were served with a side salad, and thinly shredded fresh veggies. Three of us had dessert – to die for. I never have dessert, but could not resist the cake with blackberries and marscaponi. My niece had their triple chocolate cake and my daughter-​in-​law had their blueberry cheesecake. I highly recommend this restaurant and based on the busy coming and going, everyone local already knows about it.
