Place is awesome. Was in town for work and it was a must stop. Simple menu, great burgers, Hall of fame O Rings. Go

Delicious burgers, yummy fries, awesome milkshakes and super nice staff!!!
If you do not use too much salt (while cooking at home) you might find this place a bit salty but hey — it’s burgers and fries ;)
Liked their iced tea too and grabbed a brownie to go. Plenty of parking a very close to highway. I definitely recommend this place!

I visited BSF for the first time this Friday at about 8, on the way there I was a bit worried that they’d be busy but luckily when I arrived with my dining partner they were empty! We walk up to the counter to place our order and were greeted by a pleasant gentleman working the counter. After a little bit of chit chat we have our order in and are free to sit anywhere. The gentleman working brings out my Arnold Palmer and my dining partner’s milkshake while we wait for our food, both were delicious! Finally our burgers come out and man do they look gooooooood. From our first bites we were in heaven. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the toppings were plentiful. I will definitely be returning to Burgers, Shakes, and Fries soon!

Went to Connecticut for a day trip and was surprised with the reviews from this place. Checked it out, and their walls were decorated with awards of «best burger.»
Owner was very accommodating and upbeat, even cracking a few jokes. You could see that he cares for his customers, and the customers love him too as evidenced by the constant groups of people streaming in.
I bite into the burger, and was surprised that the toasted and buttered loaf bread pairs well with the burger! Cheese was perfectly melted. And the beef. you can really taste the beefiness and juiciness of it. Yum! :)
Onion rings were lightly battered and crunchy, perfect with the burger!

Delicious patty (s) on basically a grilled cheese sandwich. What’s better? I also recommend a shake, which is thick the way it should be. O ya, and the sweet potato deep fried tots are a great choice also. Don’t forget to ask for special sauce. This place is legit!!!

I just realized that I have visited BSF multiple times and have not yet written a review yet!
Definitely one of the best burger places there is out there! I’m a classic burger kind of person… beef patty with all the «little fixins» (tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions and hot peppers)… the crunch of the fresh veggies are so refreshing on this burger — it’s amazing!
Love that they also serve it on toast instead of a bun!
Onion rings and sweet potato tots are also really good!
Milkshakes are very thick and yummy, but definitely too much to have with the burger too! It needs to be shared!

By far my FAVORITE burger joint. Great quality food, good location, efficient and friendly staff, and is always clean (I don’t get how they do that).

Gotta to admit, that they are better than In & Out (but not as inexpensive)…they represent great food and service at casual dining prices. I would highly recommend them.

Every once in a while I crave a good ol burger! Sometimes I’ve made the mistake of going to nice restaurant for a burger and left disappointed and angry that they would charge $ 15 for a bad frozen burger.
Burger shake and fries is one if the few places that serves a juicy burger for a great price.
I had a burger with blue cheese and it was so juicy I had to put a napkin down to contain the juices. The onion rings were perfectly salted… They used the perfect amount of gorgonzola– not too much to overpower the burger but enough to enjoy the flavor in every bite.

Good stuff — the thing you need to get used to here is the bread — it’s regular bread rather than hamburger buns… you’d expect it to be like the burger Eddie Murphy describes in «Raw» (
). But somehow, it works — and it works quite well.
The meat is top notch and the ingredients are fresh and served in just the right proportion. Their chili is great: on a burger or a hot dog or as a side. It’s easy to look at the menu and think it’s so simple there isn’t too much you can put on the burger before it gets out of control … then you realize maybe you got a little bit carried away — but they make it work for you. The Onion Rings are some of the best I’ve had — you really don’t need to put condiments on them.
Only thing this business needs to work on? The hours. Closes way too early every night and particularly on Sundays.

My friend and I just stopped here for an early dinner. It was so amazing that I had to write this review immediately!
First off, it’s a cute place on the outside but once you go in your hit with neat butcher block bar seating and orange chairs. It’s very clean and fresh. The gentleman that helped us was beyond nice and had a good personality.
I had a single with American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and a side of pickles and fries. Everything was delicious. I got a chocolate shake to go and I’m currently enjoying it’s awesomeness while on my 3 HR drive back home. I also got brownies and cookies to go home. The brownies JUST came out of the oven… Fresh, gooey, brownies. The only thing that would have made this better was if I could’ve had the brownie bowl with batter.
I was going to ask if they made their own pickles, but I forgot. The pickles are amazing. It really seemed that the quality of the ingredients made everything so much more tasty.
I honestly can’t say anything else about how good this was, you just really need to go here and try everything, really, everything!!!

Great idea to use toasted white bread instead of traditional buns. The shake was great too!

The food is every bit a good as the reviews indicate. The only thing that kept it from getting 5 stars is they are a little slow getting their delicious food to you and when you are on a lunch break that can be a deal breaker.

I have to update this because the fact I just stood there and ordered a menu item was my mistake. You can have it your way and should. They’re not mind readers. Just let them know and it happens. No question, no funny looks. I’m the fool who just didn’t say what I wanted.

No BS excellent burgers. Hot & juicy, great fries, and the shakes are superb.
Best malted I ever had as well… Vanilla.

This place makes all other burgers in the area fail to compare. Easily the best burger in the area. Great meat (served medium rare unless otherwise specified) on toast with a variety of toppings to add including fried egg and gorgonzola. Their shakes are delicious too! I love their cookies and cream shake and salted caramel shake (when they have it).

Absolutely loved our lunch at Burgers, Shakes, and Fries. Two of my boys tried shakes: chocolate and strawberry. We had chicken tenders, a chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings, and of course a burger. The burger was to die for. I had a single with everything and the toppings were excellent and included hot peppers which I love.
Believe the reviews — the food is excellent. But that’s not what impressed me the most. The owner, Kory Wollins, was behind the counter and he was wonderful to us and exactly the same to everyone who walked through the door. I was there with my 3 boys and we ordered 2 large fries to share so he took the liberty of splitting all the fries among the four of us. I know that’s a small gesture — but the point is we didn’t ask and he was just paying that much attention to how we would eat and enjoy his food. This hospitality wasn’t just for us — he tried to connect with everyone who came in while we were there. This guy puts everything he has into his craft, his customers, and his place. Kory I hope you are able to scale your operation, brother!

Burgers Shakes & Fries never fails. I was on a time crunch and called my order in. I was told my order was going to be ready in about 15 minutes. I was in the mood for a Chicken Sandwich and a Strawberry Shake– Das It !!
I made a mad dash to BSF, I waited a few minutes and while I was there, I noticed (what I thought were) chocolate chip cookies, the owner quickly mentioned that they were Coconut– Chocolate Chip Cookies, i decided on trying– why not?
BSF is a quaint Burger joint with some pizzazz. Menu items are unique And like no other, shakes… omg. I always get their chicken sandwich (I don’t eat beef). The chicken is nicely sliced and cooked then placed on 2 toasted, freaking buttery sliced bread.
Parking I’ve heard might get a little fuzzy, but the few times I’ve been here, I’ve dodged the heavy crowds and make it there by 12:15ish.
Never a miss with me. Staff is great by the way…

This is probably the best burger shack in the Westchester area, at least in my experience. They have a very simple way of doing things, and it works for them. The burgers are cooked to your liking and they are one of the few burger places that will cook my meat near medium rare. Most place overcook no matter how many chances I give!
The burger is gorgeous. So simple, on toasted sliced bread. You have a select array of options. This isnt like Chee Burger with their sometimes daunting possible combinations. I think its actually a good amount of quality options. Just take a look at my pictures. I want to cry each time this model citizen of a burger is presented to me on its silver tray. So good and juicy that I dont even need a sauce on it. The burger is done so perfectly along with the runny egg I usually get that there is no need to artificially add moisture in the form of sauce to the mix.
The onion rings are huge and crispy. Never had them get soggy, but they’re oily! (Just the way I like them). The shakes are pretty standard, but they do offer malt options which kicks up the flavor to Johnny Rockets level, but I’m not sure if they use a mix or real ingredients Good flavor, but you can tell something’s off.
The seating is limited and it gets busy at lunch. I like this spot for lunch with my team or colleague. Its a small cozy venue that emphasizes on the food, but the service is very good as well. They have tons of regulars. The only thing this place is missing is beer. But with those shakes, I dont need one anyway.

Best burger in Greenwich. Chicken fingers and fries for the boy. Coming here was his idea anyway!
