Pactimo

Wrote a review stating my opinion on kit I had purchased and used on a ride. They didn’t like my opinion and therefore didn’t post my review. I guess you can’t trust all reviews nor expect to see those that are negative.

I first heard of this company when I was shown a corporate logo bike racing jersey made in bulk by Pactimo. At first glance, it was bright and colorful, something that is the opposite of what I’d ever wear, but I soon grew to appreciate the practical and thoughtful design. The 3 pockets in the back, with the opening at the top edge, is where the money’s at. You don’t want zippered side pockets. If you are trying to store your phone or wallet in a zippered side pocket, it is going to hang over your leg and will look and feel weird. However, if stored in the back pockets, your phone stays up against the incline of your back and out of the way.
I’m really behind on Unilocal stuff, but a few months ago, I tried ordering a summit jersey and the website suggested that I fill out this internet email form and find out when they would be back in stock. Within an hour, a Brent O’Brien, Operations Manager, wrote back. We exchanged emails almost like live chat, and I got my answers quickly and was able to make my decision to buy what’s left or wait for the next set.
Pactimo shipped the next day for both orders that I placed a couple of months apart. You can get FedEx Smartpost shipping for free if over $ 75. Their products are pricy — most items are $ 85−100+, but they have «clothes out» sales occasionally, and a 20% off coupon if you sign up for their newsletter. By the way, you have to jump on the website right away when you get the sales notification because everything sells out quickly.
The summit jersey from my first order arrived as beautiful as I expected. My second order was a cascade jacket, an ascent long-​sleeved, and an evergreen jacket. They arrived in a space– and material-​saving logo mailing pouch, each individually wrapped in see-​through packaging. I hate cardboard boxes and packing material, so this was perfect. Pactimo see pretty generous with their 20−25% discounts… besides the newsletter discount, there was a flyer for discounts on several items, and you can get discounts for writing a review on their website or emailing some dude directly. Lastly, they also included a logo sticker (though useless to me).
The evergreen jacket was nice and fuzzy on the inside. I liked that the zippered horizontal pocket in the back is lined with plastic so sweat doesn’t seep through and ruin things. The other two items are still in their bags but I’ll update this when I open them!
I will happily continue to order from Pactimo again.
