Pat’s used to be much better. I ate there for Lunch today with my son, and both Cheesesteaks were terrible. Hardly any meat and cheese, and the bread was not fresh. Oh and the place was filthy dirty! Yuck. and to top it off the Air was not working and it was 92 degrees outside. I can honestly say I won’s be back.

One think say for Pat’s is that they are consistent in messing up orders. Tried them after several months hoping that the had new crew, had improved etc. Tonight’s order was similar to opposite day we played while in grade school… each sandwich was the exact opposite of what was requested, the cold sandwiches hot, the hot sandwiches cold, parts of the order missing and so on. I give up and won’t be going back

My wife and I stopped for lunch yesterday(after spending 10 minutes of driving around to find the entrance) because we had heard it might be a good place. We were extremely disappointed. The atmosphere and conditions were unkempt at best. The service was slow and the food was no more than okay. And, the price for the quality of the food was way too high. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are just too many other good Diner’s and Deli’s in Denver than to waste your money here.

Very weak philly cheese steaks… Very little meat. Also, stay far far far away from the processed cheese fries … Disgusting

My prego wife wanted a cheesesteak so I went to go pick her up one… in a snow storm. And it wasn’t that close a drive. Arrived at 735p. Alright, sign says«Open,» plenty of time to spare before they closed at 800p. Walk in and the guy says they’ve already begun cleaning up. Sorry. If you’re open until 800p, quit closing down before 800p. Plenty of other restaurants to choose from in Denver so riddle me this, Why should I ever go back here?

Ordered a classic Philly, which was ok — not the worse I have ever had. Philly came out quickly and was hot, so that was nice. The ordering counter is a disaster — really dirty and disgusting. And there was a 3 year old running around, because daycare. Kind of strange.

I’m not sure where all these negative reviews come from. We live just down the street from Pat’s and make a visit whenever the mood strikes. Yes, it’s a bit of a hole in the wall. But they make some of the best cheese steak sandwiches around. They’re a handful, and messy, and greasy, and delicious. If you’re looking for some immaculate date-night joint, this is probably not it. But I’ve never had anything but good service and yummy food, so … I give it four stars.

This was possibly the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the«Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich» but apparently they forgot about the«spicy» and«buffalo» parts. Of the 12-inch sandwich I got, maybe one inch had any buffalo sauce on it. The rest of the sandwich was incredibly dry, the«spicy» flavor was just black pepper, and the bread was tough and borderline-stale. I took four bites and had to throw the rest of the sandwich away, it was honestly that bad. The cashier was friendly enough, but otherwise being in the actual physical restaurant was almost depressing. I actually wondered how this place was still in business when I walked in the door, and now I’m even more confused as to how they continue to make any money at all.

This is my first experience trying a Philly cheesesteak and quite frankly it was terrible. The employees did not have any sense of urgency for the customers not were they polite and they got my order wrong, having to make it again. I would recommend this place on a slow day, so that maybe they’ll be more attentive of details to their customers.

We stopped yesterday to have lunch. The food was ok. The girl at the counter was more interested in texting then cleaning dirty tables. And when she finally cleaned the tables, she used one cloth for the table and the chairs. Splattered mustard on the wall must have been overlooked for days. When I see that, I always fonder about the kitchen. Will never go back.

I’m curious to know how this location stays running. My first visit for take out I loved the food so I was looking forward to going back. Next time the lady refused to give me a side of jalapeño juice, I asked if I could pay for it she says no, then I ask what they do with the juice the jalapeños come in and she said«we eventually throw it away». I offered to pay for something you eventually throw away? Wow. Also, their hours say 8pm, try 7pm, and that’s if they still have bread. The employees lock the door and just sit there till 8pm while multiple people sit outside wondering what is going on. Lost business. Sad when the food is actually good. I won’t ever go back.

I thought the service was bad when I wrote my original review and it’s only gotten worse. Much worse. Had to wait 25 minutes after placing my order today for my food. Sunday afternoon(1pm), 5 people in the restaurant. Absolutely no excuse. Good food is meaningless if I have to wait forever for it.

Staying at the Best Western right behind Pat’s and ate here for lunch today. The service was good and the food was great! I like to base my reviews off others, especially the negative ones, and I must say that I went in actually in search of the bf things, but didn’t find them! The gentlemen at the counter was polite and explained the menu. The dine in experience isn’t nothing fancy but was comfortable and inviting. I had a Philly cheesesteak and it was awesome! The bread was good and the portion of meat was good as well. I got a medium and it was about 8″ and the perfect lunch portion. I’m not a huge fan of mushrooms and onions so not having to say exclude this was great! All that it comes with is meat and cheese and you tell them what you want added. Every place has people who may not have the best experience but this place is worth the visit! We’re not in Philly so I didn’t expect it to taste«just like philly.» So for a CO cheesesteak this place is a winner!

Tried this place for the first time today. All I can say is WOW. Had the mushroom cheesesteak and got crab fries that were on special. 8 hrs later and I’m still thinking about the sandwich and fries. I was fat and happy today. Only downside to this place is I’m going to have to hit the gym daily just so I can eat here more often. MMM great job.

I have never had anything from here except the Philly cheesesteak, but I love it so much that it’s all that I get. I’m not from Philly or anything, but I just think it’s an excellent sandwich. I love how they put the sweet peppers on it, it’s absolutely delicious. I really like the fries here too. Every time I go to any of the locations, I can always count on a consistently great sandwich. The employees are usually pretty friendly and attentive for the most part. The Philly cheesesteak is so good, I crave it at least a couple times a week. I like that they have two locations so that I can go to the one in the tech center, as well as the one in south Denver.

I’ve been working near Pat’s for going on 2 years, and finally got a chance to visit. It had also been far too long since I had a Philly cheesesteak, so my visit was indeed a good day. I opted for the mushroom cheesesteak, which was a pretty solid representation. When I visited Philly I learned that there are two kinds: chopped and folded. This refers to the meat(chopped vs. a folded over sheet). I did not enjoy the folded when I was there, so I was glad that Pat’s does it chopped. The bread was awesome — fresh and the perfect blend of firm but yet tender. The meat was also tender, but could have been a tad greasier /flavorful. Mushrooms were perfect. Cheese seemed to be either white American or a poor provolone. Would have been much better with sharp provolone, but that seems to be hard to find outside of Philly(*sad face*). Overall, I’m really closer to a 3.5, but guess I’ve had better cheesesteaks. That said, this definitely hit the spot, and I’ll be back. Found it very odd that, upon entering, all you see is menus for burgers and wings on the wall. Guess they’re trying to branch out, but if you grab the menu you’ll find their Philly selection… which is what you want, isn’t it? I know, weird. Whatever, the ambiance(a.k.a.: lack there off) inside definitely let’s you know that you’re in the right spot.
