I’ve had plenty of Italian food, but this takes the cake. Incredible atmosphere, wonderful servers, and it truly makes for an authentic Italian experience. Would love to go here again.

The best Italian restaurant in Denver area. My close friends are from Italy and this is where they go. Try the seafood soup or the lamb shank! Alesandro knows how to run a 5 star restaurant. The food, staff and service are 2nd to none! I don’t go out often but when I do I go here!

My wife and I went to Venice last night to celebrate a special occasion. The service was very slow. She ordered the branzini which is one of the best fish entrees we have had in many years. I ordered the mushroom half moon ravioli. When it came it looked like someone had thrown up on my plate. It looks like some type of mushroom soup with pasta in it. They slopped it on the dish with no attention to plating whatsoever. Thankfully it tasted wonderful. After our meal our waitress disappeared. We had to ask several people for our bill which took over 20 minutes. When the Bill came they had added two desserts that were not ours. Expected more from this restaurant that I have visited many times

The food was delicious, but the service was disappointingly slow. And they overcharged us. Ugh. We were here 2 hours for a salad and an entrée.

Ordered swordfish and it was sooooo overcooked it was like mush. Chef and waiter were so arrogant they refused to replace it. I will never return.

Came here on new years eve and the proportions were not worth the amount of money that we spent. The proportion of the dessert was a joke. They give you a little tiny baby scoop of ice scream with a very small lava cake. The lobster bisque was just average and our main courses were good but not worth the price. Appetizer/desserts were very pricey for what your getting. They have spaghetti with no meatballs or sausage? The service was good.

I’ve been here several times and the food is always great. The chef knows what he is doing and the food is always consistent also. The food is a little pricey for Italian, but for the quality, location, and atmosphere, it is worth every penny. Love it here. Will be back.

My company had to host a Private Dinner Training for an Audiology Practice on short notice. Lisa(Event Planner) and her team were top notch. Great service, amazing Italian food and a phenomenal overall experience. Eat here! Entertain here! Meet here! You won’t regret it.

Amazing, upscale Italian dining! If you’re looking for a quality, authentic, Italian dinner with impeccable service and ambiance, well look no further, Venice Ristorante is the spot! The cuisine is divine. From the sausage chicken garlic linguini I ordered, to the calamari and mozarella appetizer, to the Ferrari wine and gelato dessert… everything was scrumptious and flavorful. My colleagues raved about their dishes, as well. The décor is classy, the servers are on their A game and you can relax and enjoy your meal without being rushed. Come here for a celabatory dinner, a date night or simply to treat yourself to an authentic Italian dinner you will most certainly rave about for weeks to come. Thanks to the staff for making our evening so special! I know the next time I’m in Denver, I’ll be back to Venice for more.

I had my wedding dinner here last weekend. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service was impeccable. Seriously, the wait staff are efficient and delightful. However, the coordinator messed up the menu. So, if you want to make two changes to the pre-established private dining menu do not come here because that was one too many. While everything else was beyond reproach I found the menu mistake very disappointing. My husband and I are vegetarians and the change was kind of important to us. Also, when you are having a dinner for 30 or more and spending about 4 thousand dollars things should be as agreed upon prior. I will forever remember that as the only thing that went wrong on my wedding day.

Wife and I love this place! Tonight we were waited on Lane who did a fabulous job; but when we do come we ask for Eddie. King of the Hill waiter-known Eddie for years. You can’t go wrong with anything here, food, service, atmosphere-what else do you need?! Food was fantastic!

Been coming here for about 6 months now. Cant believe it took us this long to find this place. 5 star italian food and service. Christopher Robbins is the best waiter EVER. Treats you like your family. They also have a great bar while you wait for your table. Eating there again this Friday evening, cant wait.

This place is great for a nicer than usual business lunch(but still fast) or even a date night. The location is unexpected(stripmall, albeit a nice one)…but the service is great(if not a bit pretentious… they pushed their special steak menu at lunch). The portions are huge and the warm bread brought to the table before the meal is amazing. The presentation of each dish is pretty as well. Can’t wait to go back & try their dinner.

Who would’ve thought that there was a gem of an Italian restaurant hidden in a strip mall in Greenwood Village?! We had a work lunch here last week, and I still can’t stop thinking about their pastas! I will admit that the menu is a little overwhelming. They have a whole page of daily specials built into the menu — or maybe that’s their way of getting you to try something new, by calling it a «special.» Anyway, that part was a little weird and confusing… and it didn’t help that it was in Italian, but whatevs. I settled on a sausage pasta with a spicy marsala sauce, and yummers! I ate the whole thing and loved every bit of it. We had a pretty big group, but I thought the servers were really attentive and they used some extra hands to bring all of our dishes out at the same time, which was nice. I could see this being a neat little place to come back to for a mid-week dinner to enjoy a glass of vino(or two) with some yummy Italian fare.

Stellar food. Probably the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Their focus on seafood is mind blowing. I never thought I’d eat such great seafood in the middle of the States! Our server, Hugo, was hospitable and really knew his stuff. He can tell you what part of Italy each wine is from, as well as describe the menu offerings perfectly. I started with their salad, which was light and refreshing(probably due to cucumber) and gets an A+ for presentation. As an entrée, I went with one of their many specials, the Cioppino — a seafood medley sitting in the most flavorful stew I’ve ever had. Not salty, great consistency… it was just perfect. I skipped dessert, but did have a glass of limoncello and a cup of coffee. The limoncello was a perfect ending to an epic meal. My only regret was that I did not eat here again during my week long trip to Denver. If you are in the area, please do me a favor: eat here, take an enticing picture, and let me know so I can drool and become insanely jealous.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. Love: we keep coming back because it is hands down the best food in our area of town. The pasta choices are always great, the meats are delicious, sauces are homemade delicious. The wait staff is experienced and pleasant. Hate: we would not even think of coming here without a reservation, which we typically make online via open table. The problem occurs when we arrive on time, but consistently have to wait 25 – 60 minutes to be seated. What good is a reservation? Also it is so noisy inside the packed restaurant that one must shout across the table to hear those sitting feet away. Congestion at the bar is so bad that it reminds me of an overpacked elevator with everyone holding a drink. These experiences have been consistent over our last 10 visits here, so I think it is fair to take my rating down a couple notches.

I went here with a group for dinner. I was not overly impressed with too many aspects of the restaurant. The hostess seemed a bit confused. Our server was a friendly old gentleman, but he had a nasty habit of disappearing for lengthy periods of time, not refilling water glasses, etc. The server who we did succeed in flagging down to fill water glasses managed to spill water over the sides of the glasses(and not just a little bit) in 4 out of 5 pours(which is pretty impressive in its own horrible way). I ordered the overpriced Caesar salad as a starter. This is romaine lettuce, homemade grissini, fried capers and shaved parmesan cheese tossed with homemade Caesar dressing; served on a parmesan basket. The dressing(the most important part of the dish, was rather bland. The parmesan tuile«bowl» was dense and extremely salty. For my main course, I went with Ravioli di Salsiccia(Homemade round ravioli filled with spicy Italian sausage, ricotta and parmesan; fresh tomatoes, sausage and wine sauce). This was six modest, under-filled, and rather tough ravioli. The sauce was okay. But it basically just tasted of pork and lots of salt. My meal, with tax and tip, was around $ 40. For this price, I expect much better food and service.

First off, I’d like to say that my fiancé and I are big fans of the Venice downtown and like to take out of town company here for a nice meal. However, we’ve recently moved to the Tech Center and since it’s the sister restaurant, we assumed that we’d have the same experience. Far from it. I’d also like to point out that part of this is very much my fault. My sister, visiting from out of town, and I had spent the day bridesmaid dress shopping. I have a fracture in a joint in my lower back and too much movement causes extreme discomfort. By the time we got home, I was bedridden. Determined not to ruin the night and cancel dinner, I decided to take a muscle relaxer before heading out, so that I could walk. I knew the meds would do the trick and thinking that I’d be balancing their potency with a heavy Italian meal, I thought it was the perfect solution. We arrived at 6:50 pm and had a 7 pm reservation. I was starting to feel queezy and dopey at about 7:10(after waiting 20 minutes for our reservation). My sister went up to the counter to inquire about our table and was told that no one had yet left. However, a large homecoming party had come in and been seated as well as several regulars while we waited. By 7:20, I stumbled up to the host desk myself, queezy and dizzy due to the pain meds and told them that I had taken some medication that required food and that we had been waiting over 30 minutes for our table. I was told the same thing as my sister and not even offered a bread basket or appetizer at the bar(had I been more alert, I would have asked). Finally, at 7:40 after FIFTY minutes of waiting for our reservation, we cancelled and walked out. This is disgusting service and ruined what could have been a really lovely evening. I will never dine here, or rather ATTEMPT to dine here again.

I went to Venice Ristorante for restaurant week in August. Pros: It wasn’t very crowded, the service was exceptional, menu was fantastic Cons: food was just okay. Ever since I went to Hawaii and ate at an Italian restaurant there, my expectations are much, much higher. This place isn’t bad but I was underwhelmed. The best thing I ate there was the parmesan bowl the caesar salad was in. The tiramasu was good too. I don’t know if I’d eat here again for restaurant week. I’ve been here two other times and enjoyed my experience more.
