Dakota Watch

Bought the Spider watch from Dakota Watch Co. 2 years ago. Within a week the watch started losing up to 4 hours a day. I took it back and they replaced the battery. Within a few days it was doing the same again. I went back in and showed them. They said they needed to order a new movement. I don’t live near so I came back a few months later and they replaced the movement. The problem is that the watch has a warranty and they charged me for the new movement. Within a month the watch was losing time again. This time it was stoping for hours at a time. I informed them again and again they wanted to order a new movement. I called their corporated offices to talk to someone. You can only leave them a message which they never return. 6 months ago I got tired of waiting and bought a $ 10 watch at Walmart. The Walmart watch keeps excellent time and was more than $ 100 cheaper. Guess I should have saved my money the first time. I don’t recommend dealing with Dakota Watch Co.

Called in advance for info on watch maintenance service. Jessica was friendly and knowledgeable and quick to inform me of pricing on watch link pin replacement and battery replacement.
At the kiosk, she was friendly and professional. She took my name and phone number and called me when the services were completed about 15 minutes later.
My watch is fixed =)
