Everything was amazing! Delicious falafel, hummus, babagnoush, tabouleh, and grape leaves to start, and then kabobs that were tender and excellent! Generous portions, and the owners were very friendly and helpful! I definitely recommend this hidden gem — you’d never guess that this great Mediterranean restaurant was in Greer!

Great food and the sweetest owners. It is absolutely a great place to eat. They also have a little shopping area and fresh seafood market in the back. Don’t pass the up the desserts either!

5 stars for some of the nicest people. The owners are awesome. We tried the cookies, some with Dates fruit and some with sesame seed. They are very good. We are ready to go back and try Middle East foods.

The menu is half Seafood Favorites and Lebanese Favorites. The Lebanese side has Lebanese(savory) pies, vegetarian plates, rolled pitas, and platters with stuff like shishkabob. The Seafood side offers fish appetizers like calamari and fried oysters, fried seafood platters with 2 sides, and various fish sandwiches. I had a rolled beef kafta sandwich, which is their version of a gyro – sort of like a burrito. Very yummy. If you get the beef kafta platter, you’ll get 4 «sausages» of beef with spices in there – I’m still working on identifying them, but I think one of them is cloves – tabouli or rice, hummos and flat bread.(There is a lot of olive oil in the hummos, which will keep you moving, if you know what I mean.) I enjoyed the nammoura for dessert – sort of like a piece of corn bread with flavored syrup on top. The place is part of the Fresh Seafood Market, so it smells faintly of fish. The decoration is very sparse – plain blue walls, no decoration. The owner, George, however, is very friendly. He’ll answer any questions you have and try to interest you in what he thinks you’ll like. I definitely want to go back to try some of the other items on the menu.

A hidden jewel in Greer, South Carolina, the Fresh Seafood Market Restaurant delivers a true taste of the Middle East. After a long day of driving, I was invited to the new eatery by a group of friends. After walking in, we were immediately greeted at the door by the owner George who’s a gregarious fun loving gent with a deep appreciation for great food. Then and there, the table was set for a slippery slope of deliciousness. Over the course of two hours, plate after plate of food was brought to our table. It started with oysters, home made tabouli, kebabs, garlic, hummus, and we finished with blue crab. Every dish had a distinct flavor and taste and a genuine sense of being home made with tender loving care. I can’t say enough about this location and would recommend it to everyone in the area. Go-in, meet George, and enjoy a great meal.
