We love taking our friends from PDx to Gresham’s own microbrewery. Tasty seasonal beers with a solid line up going year round. Growler fills are such a steal on Sundays as well! The food is always excellent with something for everyone. Best place in town to get fish and chips for sure! Talk about value! Burgers and traditional pub fare are top notch. Definitely our most frequented place in town for these reasons. Don’t change a thing!

The first time I went here was for dinner with my long-term boyfriend and his father who was visiting from Indiana. Plenty of TVs with all sorts of sports on, which provides an easy and excellent escape during uncomfortable silences. Food was good, beer was better. We had a fantastic and friendly server that took care of us even though it was a busy night. This place is within walking distance from our apartment, but there is plenty of parking if you need it.

I live pretty nearby to 4th Street Brewing and frequent this bar fairly often with friends. Always a great experience and great food. The bar usually isn’t terribly busy and you can have easy conversation in a relaxed and very open atmosphere. On a most recent visit we arrived on a Monday night and the place was the busiest we had ever seen. The poor staff was clearly overrun as they were not prepared for whatever brought so many people in that day. They handled it marvelously. With one server and one cook they were still able to get our food out in a timely manner and the service was still very pleasant. Overall a great place to hang out and a great experience! Thank you!

Came in here with a trusty Groupon in hand. The servers are nice and the bar was pretty packed. I got the northwest dip and the sandwich was pretty good, the dip not so much. The chips it came with were amazing. My fiancé had a burger and said the bleu cheese made it taste chalky, but it was still good. The amber ale tasted more like a stout and it was okay I guess. This place is just meh. Not really worth the full price, come with a Groupon or during happy hour.

Terribly overpriced, unless you go for happy hour, then it’s reasonable. Food is decent, good location in downtown Gresham. I’ve been there a few times… last time our waitress was great, working so hard while the nearby group of about 10 off-duty employees sat around being obnoxious and swearing loudly. Not very professional… it felt like we should’ve been on the show Restaurant Stakeout…

I met my mother here, it’s in a very cool part of Old Down Town Gresham(spend some time walking around to the shops here!) We ordered cocktails, appetizer(artichoke dip, the chips were GREAT! I believe they’re made there) I had the ahi tuna, my mother and boyfriend had the burger that has blue cheese on it I believe. Anywho, all of it was tasty, good service, I will be back again!

We went on a Sunday night and we had never been there before. If it was properly advertised as a sport bar, we would have been better prepared. Lots of tvs and guys yelling at the Sunday night football game. The front door was surrounded by 8 people smoking and we had to walk through their cloud of smoke to get out.(it was half-time). Otherwise the beer was solid, the food was decent and the waitresses were friendly but all in all, this pub is nothing special that we would go out of our way to return to.

Love the look of the place. Great food! Great happy hour. Great beer! Went here on a date with my fiancé and had an awesome time. The staff are also really nice.

They have exceptional bar food, beer and ambiance. I use to try different entrees each time I went there, but after I tried the shattack Wrap, that’s all I’ll order, it’s everything a chicken wrap should be. They brew their own beer and always have something new on tap. EDIT: They’ve closed and become a very mediocre Mexican restaurant.

I went on a Friday night and got cheap snacks and drinks. I super appreciated the music selection, but you can’t go wrong with Ellie Goulding. I had a great time and stayed for a couple of hours. I will definitely be going back.

4th street has a lot of potential, they have a great menu and a lot of beers to choose from but they need to work on their service. It’s not necessarily bad, but its not good. Every waitress I’ve had here seems like she doesn’t want to be there and takes her time serving. If they had some quicker servers with nicer demeanors here this place would be great.

I saw a groupon for this place and decided to check it out. I got there almost right as they opened and was able to park right in front of the establishment. I was seated right away and drink orders were taken. I got the ahi tuna that came with rice and broccoli. It was cooked to perfection and there was a chili sauce on top of the tuna that elevated the flavor. The sesame seeds that crusted the tuna with were nice and toasty with a nutty taste from the searing of the tuna. The broccoli was still crunchy and the white rice was nice and fluffy. The waitress was prompt and very friendly. I will try to get back here to try something else on the menu.

Horrible horrible service… the servers are not attentive and even when you ask them for something several time like silver wear or your check they still bring it when they feel like it. The happy hour menu is decent but the food is very inconsistent. Also the beers are nothing to write home about. There are much much better places to go in Gresham.

I have coupons, so I was going to check them out. They are just okay. Nothing I even feel like rushing back too. I seriously feel like I have written a review for them already, but according to Unilocal,no. Maybe as I sat there eating just okay food, I was composing my review, as I often do. The first time the servers were border line rude, and tacked on the 18% tip that she didn’t deserve, since she never showed her face again and was so short with us. Then the second time, our waitress was pretty nice. The portions are huge on some of the dishes but that might not be a good thing if you start feeling like you are choking down mediocre food. I have had the duck pot stickers, which are overpriced and taste like any average pot sticker out there that don’t cost $ 10 for a small order. The meatloaf was pretty good, the mashed potatoes kind of on the cool side, but I powered through. My husband got the chicken pot pie and the waitress said most people don’t finish. I can tell you why. It was so sticky doughy at the bottom. I told my husband repeatedly to send it back, but he said he had lost his appetite and now he knows not to order it again. However, he did tell me to use the last coupons with my son, he was good to not come back. Looking at reviews it is a mix, of love the beer not the food and vice versa, but I have been a couple of times now and don’t feel excitement going back but will to use the coupons. I will update the review if socks are knocked off and they are mine.

We are usually good for a stop in here when we are in the area. The folks working here are very accommodating. We like to sit outside at one of the two outdoor tables when it’s nice out and those seats are dog-friendly. My favorite thing about this spot is their all-day happy hour menu on Sundays and how everyone shows up in their sports gear during football season. It’s a great spot to watch NFL as they show all the games and there is a ton of seating indoors. The food and beer are decent. The beer names pay homage to the two state universities and they are fair about supporting both sides which I appreciate. Of course I prefer their Eager Beaver IPA over all the other brews. I’ve never been blown away by the food but I can’t complain either. The menu is a better than average mix of soups, salads, pastas and burgers. I am pretty fond of their garlic fries. I don’t have much incentive to come out to Gresham very often, but when I do, you’ll find me here with beer in hand.

This is one of those place where I could review the restaurant and brewery separately. The beer was really nice. The calamari was. okay, maybe a bit overdone but not greasy. Not great though. The pizza, which was described as «crispy» was actually a soggy mess. I’m not sure how a crispy pizza margherita is supposed to stay crispy when it’s sitting in a puddle. This one sure got soggy. Ick. The service was good, the beer was great, if the food could complete the package I’d totally give this place another couple stars.

My parents, husband and I stopped by for brunch for mother’s day yesterday. Maybe we got lucky, but I’m surprised by the negative reviews. We got a couple of appetizers which were delicious, and lunch was good as well. Everybody was satisfied, but by husband said the beer was just«ok» Service was excellent and our waitress was extremely friendly. I’ll definitely go back here again — the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I feel like it’s a bit spendy for Gresham, a cheeseburger was about 15 dollars… but well worth it, apparently.

4th Street was alright. Nothing to write home to mama about, but it doesn’t deserve less than3 stars. The service was pseudo– friendly. The waiter/bartender was physically there, but not mentally there for the most part. A little more attention would have been nice or maybe just a little more water in my glass. Maybe I drink to fast, who knows. It’s a brewery which means the décor was simple and quiet. Dimly lit and filled with locals. The food was good, but easily lost in a sea of other restaurants that I’ve recently visited. I didn’t consume any appetizers that night. I went right into the main course which was a build your own burger option. The burger was tasty, but I enjoyed the beer battered fries more than anything. I’ve almost already forgotten about the beer I had. I can’t really dish out much advice on beer because I’m a man about my PBR. It was solid experience.

Update 2÷12÷2012 Mmmmm 20 oz. beer for $ 3.25 and another enjoyable meal tonight! Have there always been 2 styles of fish & chips on the menu & I’ve never noticed due to the 3.75 pounds of beer consumed prior to dining? Dunno but we ordered one of each: Alaska Gold Halibut(ka ching @ almost $ 20) and the Hawaiian Wahoo @ $ 14 Had a side by side taste test blindfolded… and couldn’t tell the difference. Woo Hoo I’d order the Wahoo next time and another beer with the money I saved. If you like garlic upgrade to the garlic fries. Really really yummy. Take your Growler with you on Sundays cause a refill is 50% off=$ 6 What a deal!

4th Street is a place that has good food, but just okay beer. My favorite meal is the fish and chips. The fish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I recently tried the porky sandwich and although it wasn’t the best BBQ pork sandwich I have had, it was still decent. The happy hour menu has a good variety of snacks for good prices. The onion rings are a favorite appetizer of mine. They are the perfect amount of crunchy. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff are friendly. The bar area can get a little crowded during the evening, so get there at a decent time. It is a nice place to sit down with friends and have a drink.
