Wasn’t really impressed. Not bad but not great. Service was so so and at times we felt like an annoyance. We went there to check out the karaōke but ended up just eating and leaving because it just seemed too small. Appeared to be a lot of regulars there and I suppose if you lived in area it would be nice place to hang out but we live in Damascus so probably won’t be back.

I was looking for a place for trivia with friends who live out in the middle of nowhere, and Bogey’s popped up. We gave it a try and were«the new kids» amongst what seemed like a group of regulars. Beer and mixed drinks are cheap and plentiful. The food was standard bar fare but SO salty that I think it may have been dangerous. I love salty food, but this was way way over the top, to the point that the garlic Parmesan tots were inedible. I know I asked for extra garlic, but I was not considering the fact that the ingredient you use is garlic salt instead of fresh, powdered, dehydrated, or fried actual garlic. I was still recovering the next day. Trivia was basic stuff, nothing too difficult, which seemed to suit the crowd just fine. Even though my team of three won the night, we won’t be back.

I have been ripped off so many times at bogey’s that I won’t go there anymore. The bartender will rip you off if you run a tab, so pay cash as you go. The last time I was there I was the DD so I didn’t drink and I know the Bartender padded my friends tab. NOTTHEFIRSTTIMEEITHER. Because I was sober on this occasion there was no excuses or rationalizing she just ripped us off ! We will NEVERNEVERGOBACK! There are to many bars in the area to settle for this place!

At the owner’s request, I’ll update my review since I have been back three more times since posting my initial review. I’ll give the bar 4 stars and karaōke 3. I was here about a month ago, and well… it’s still the same. KJ still takes his time between songs(so that wasn’t a «learning curve» but personal preference). His list is better though and he has access to online now. That alone bumps the rating up one star. Still the same awkward set up with you having to face away from the crowd and you fight your way past the pool table and people seated at short tables to get to the bathroom. It’s a fun time if you don’t mind the long wait between songs, talking to him stuffed into a corner and you don’t face the crowd. I get that it’s a small bar and luckily there’s someplace still in Gresham to karaōke at and everyone there for the night is having a good time. People like to come to celebrate birthdays so that always makes for a fun vibe. One time I was there was«theme» night it was all eighties. That was a fun surprise, I’d come back on that night if I knew that was happening again.

Boogey’s is an okay place to spend an evening. The bartender/owner is super nice and really seems to enjoy the job. The only downside is that it is a bit small. They used to be located where Gresham Golf Course is and took up the space where Another Round is. They have Keno and video gambling if that’s your thing. Prices are good and the specials aren’t too shabby. I visit Boogey’s every week and always have a good experience.

A quaint little place in Gresham. Yeah, yeah, GRESHAM. Owner Carolyn is a very nice, hands-on kinda gal that goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Vic the bartender got the pub quiz going there on Thursday nights, and that’s a good time too.
