On kind of a whim I went into Mattress World. At first just to check prices. I’ve been all over, even to Eugene, and I just couldn’t commit to buying. It never felt right. Then I met Gary. Gary is an easy, non-aggressive yet very knowledgeable salesman. He not only got me a great deal that I am completely comfortable with but didn’t make me feel odd for my well odd frugal ways. Thank You Gary! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I called on the 2^nd and spoke with a woman who was very rude and didn’t care about anything I was saying. People like her have no business in customer service. I’m looking forward to you returning from your days off Gary! Despite the rude woman I’m still a huge fan and will recomend Mattress world to all my friends and family!

I hate mattress shopping… with a fury. But, Andy made the process easy, comfortable and QUICK! My husband and I were very happy with the mattress we bought and grateful that it didn’t feel like a sleazy used car sales experience.
I still don’t understand why mattresses are marked at much higher prices than what they will sell them for… but I’m not really into the whole bartering/negotiating thing.

I called mattress world because of a craigslist ad. I talked with Gary and he was wonderful. He knew a lot about the maker of the mattress I was interested in. He was able to answer questions about the content, materials, safety and even construction of the Luxor bed. I ended up purchasing the mattress and I really love it. I am sleeping less hours now because I am not exhausted anymore from sleeping on an older memory foam mattress. The Luxor is a memory foam mattress that really supports and yet gives just enough to be comfortable and easier on my body. Gary took a lot of time with me by phone, was gracious when I decided against part of my purchase and stuck with just the mattress.
They never gave me a bad time for changing my mind about the bed frame. He even helped me purchase it through a closer store to my location. The employees of both stores worked together.
