TOTAL RIP OFF!!! You get a better value flushing your money down the toilet than going to this place. After not tanning for several years, I attempted to tan here and they’re very basic beds. I knew they had Silver level beds because I used to work in a tanning salon. After tanning 3 days in a row I did not have a single bit of color and I should have been fried. After day too, I complain to the owner and she offered me a free tan and one of the other beds. I gave them another shot just in case it was something out of their control. Afterno color from day 3 I had to buy a package somewhere else because I was leaving for vacation and could not afford to burn. I went in to attempt to talk to the owner and then I called several times. She finally had one for staff offer me a refund but still tried to charge me for the one free tan! I should not have paid $ 1 considering no tanning was going on. When I explained that I was burned after 6 minutes at another location the tried to come up with every excuse why that is. I don’t think they have change those bulbs in years. Plus, when I brought that up to the owner she said she changes them herself. A certified technician needs to be the one to do that! I have already called radiation protection services to file a complaint.

I had an amazing experience with Venus, she was incredibly sweet and did a fantastic job on my hair. I hope to go back again. :-)

Karin did a great job on my hair! She was really nice and talkative. My folks bought me a groupon for this salon to get my hair highlighted and I was not disappointed! The salon is located right by a good public parking lot so parking was easy. The salon was busy and everyone was happy and laughing. I’ll definitely come back!

THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE. I went in for an appointment with Katy for nails. She showed up 15 minutes late and then had the audacity to tell me I was in the wrong for being upset. She is completely RUDE. I wouldn’t recommend her. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS LADY!

WOW! I cannot believe the bad reviews I just read! I love this place and have been coming here for over three years now. Denise does my hair and does an outstanding job! I get complements on my hair every week!!! Plus, she is soooo nice and makes me feel like family when I come in. I get my nails and toes done here as well by Katy. She is awesome!!! I am always pleased with her work and get complements on my nails and toes as well. I have ALWAYS been treated kindly by the receptionist too. I have to add that the price of their services are amazing! l! Love, love, love coming here. I have nothing but respect for the ladies who work here. Thank you for making me beautiful!!! Muahhhh!

Everyone there was very nice. I came in early for a haircut with Venus. she started right when I got there. I asked last minute if I could get an eyebrow wax as well. she did that first so I didn’t walk out with a red face. very considerate. She also did a great job on the haircut, exactly what I wanted from an old picture. Venus gave great tips for styling and there was no pressure to buy the products used. refreshing. I left there feeling great and not much money spent. Very pleased overall.

I have been getting my hair done here for years, and even still drive all the way here from hillsboro since I moved. The receptionists are friendly and always offer coffee or water while waiting. Paula is the best stylist, ask for her if you are new to the place. Quaint location right in the heart of downtown gresham, only pet peeve is minimal parking.

The receptionist is a complete baboon.
For real lady, here is another patch of emotions for you to sew on your sleeve. I’m sorry I came in to use the tanning bed an HOUR before closing time, I’m sure it really threw off your groove. I, myself, don’t have a job sitting at a desk playing solitaire between taking hair appointments… But I’m sure it’s a rough life so I’m sorry to be an inconvenience.
At least the staff are generally all attractive, because they sure aren’t friendly or helpful.

Karen S. who wrote a review 3÷17÷2011 a few days after mine was posted, sent me a message inquiring of my experience… mysteriously she introduced herself as «Denise, the owner», and offered me a $ 25 gift card if I should return. Looks like I know exactly where the receptionist gets her training!)

Awful, Horrible, Made me cry haircut. I saw Denise. I showed her a picture of a bob, and got hacked. One friend described me as having a mullet, another told me it was the worst haircut she’d ever seen. I’m someone who is never happy at the salon, its not until I get home and style my hair myself before I know if I like it. I’ve never had a bad haircut before, sometime I don’t always get what I want, but its never bad. This was beyond bad. It was uneven, the layers (that should not have been there) were cut way to high leaving the stylist who fixed my hair barely anything to work with. Not only was it a bad cut, it aged me 30 years, not something any 26 year old wants.
Anyways, after I got over the shock and tears I got an appointment with a friend’s stylist. Emily at Evolution… I could kiss her. I’m off to write her a great review now. She truly saved what Nails on First and Hair Second destroyed.

This salon, and Stacy the stylist are great. I have been to this salon numerous times and saw Stacy. She’s a great stylist and is so nice and chatty. She really listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. She took her time, and I could really tell that she put good work into whatever she was doing. She also gave me some really good advice too. I also liked how the salon has complementary water, coffee and tea to drink.
The prices are great too. I spent less than $ 100 for a cut and color. The location is great in downtown Gresham with free parking.
