Applebee’s

My wife and I came here in plenty of enough time to get something to eat and make our movie… so we thought took the waitress almost 20 minutes to come to take our drink order lol and at that time I notified her we was in kind of a hurry so we could make our movie date… And then she seemed kind of irritated, rude and took 10 more minutes to bring our drinks… come on now this is good service???

Worst Applebee’s.I have ever ate in. I ordered a mohito worst ever to the bar tenders credit she tried to muddle the mint leaves but they were so old it didn’t matter the food was the worst service even worse!

Horrible service. A family member of mine, who has a high gluten sensitivity ordered a meal off of their gluten free menu. When they received the meal, there was small chicken nugget crumbs. We attempted to talk to the manager, but felt she did not care. They clamed the item was never ordered or put in as a gluten free allergy, even though we asked the waitress to put the item down with a gluten sensitivity notice. This will be the last time we ever come to this location.

Horrible service!!! This is the second time I visited this location and received piss poor service. The staff was unfriendly and seemed as they were bothered to serve me. Just go to another location if you really want Applebees

The prior reviews didn’t match up to our visit, the waitress was prompt and we didn’t run out of drinks and our food was great. Applebee’s has a lot of specials running right now. We last visited apple bees over a year ago but the experienced this time we’ll be returning customers more often :)

This Applebee’s is heading downhill. We have frequented this particular location for many years, but I think yesterday will be our last time.
Upon being seated we waited for almost 15 minutes before being greeted and having our drink order taken. The waitress seemed annoyed and asked if we wanted to order our food at the same time as our drinks because in her own words…“I am not sure how long you have been sitting here.“
The tables around us were vacant but were covered with dirty dishes when we sat down. They were still there when we left an hour and a half later. It is not too appetizing seeing dirty dishes and old food sitting out for that long.
Both of our steaks were ordered medium rare and came out well well done. I had to send mine back, but wife chose to eat hers because she was starving after waiting for so long. My second one came out medium plus and the meat has a weird color to it as if it had been freezer burned.
They ran out of glasses, but instead of refilling ours on the table they took them away to the back to be washed. Kind of weird. And they would have had plenty of they cleaned off all of the dirty tables.
They were understaffed and the male manager on duty was walking around without talking to customers and failing to help clean up the dining room. He walked past the table stacked with dishes four times that I counted and never lifted a finger.
When we left there were several families still waiting for a table… All because those dirty tables were not cleaned off for our entire visit.
Quality and service will need to improve prior to my family returning. Disappointed!

I wish I didn’t love their food so much because the service is soooo terrible. Especially the curbside pick-​up. They clearly know what orders are for curbside because the food is NEVER the same quality that it is when you dine in. They ALWAYS forget the drinks we order with curbside and have to add them on a second time. There was one night where we seriously waited an hour for our food (an hour and 30 minutes from when we ordered by phone), and i only got our food because i walked into the side door and stood there, because the curbside waitress was coming out to the cars only once every 30 minutes and then just wandering around staring at everyone from the door. I wish i could say this was a one time incident but everytime we order it’s just another set of bizarre service issues. One time we were given the wrong order TWICE. Like it looked correct on the top of the bag, we drove home and found weird meals we didn’t order (the guy who answered the phone told us we had to bring the wrong food back in order to get our corrected meal)… Um are you going to actually give this to another customer after it’s been out of your hands for 20 minutes??? Just really really bad service.

Every single time I’ve been to this Applebee’s. The managers walk around and do nothing. They pass up multiple tables that need refills on their drinks or bussed. They act like they get paid to do nothing. Just because they are a manager doesn’t mean they don’t have to help the servers. Its called team work???

I’m probably here twice a month. My server today was I’m training and was probably the best server I ever had! There was an issue with my food and they were quick to fix it.

Slowest Restaurant Ever. The manager seem to not care after telling him it that it been so long since I ordered that I forgot what I ordered… No bussing and when they did just stacked on table next too us.

The server was a nice girl and she did a good job taking care of us, but she did two things wrong. 1. never refilled my water. 2. when she dropped off the check she was M.I.A. till the end, but she was nice. I can see how the reviews for here are so bad based on volume of business and experience of server ratio. We went on a very dead night where a server can’t get frazzled nor anyone else, but what we got was tepid cheese stix at best and a few other things that could have been nicer. On the other hand we got all the apps for half off and that means those warm cheese stix cost me 4 bucks for 8 of them and I took them home and warmed em up nicely in the toaster oven for later so eh. My guy ordered the spicy chicken wonton tacos and I had one of them it’s a different experience I liked the crunch of the wonton and the coleslaw with cilantro, but I did not like the dry, hard, and chewy chicken or the lime wedges that were so dry (I am not exaggerating they cut these thing in the morning and left them out to dry all day.) not a drop, not a drop people, omg would squeeze from them. So I think if they were actually busy then they would struggle way worse, but since it was Christmas Eve that sweet server got about a 60% tip. Oh., but I forgot to mention the pretty delish french onion soup, loaded with cheese on top and a really beefy flavor.

Very slow service on a Friday night. Waited for food for half an hour and no manager apologies. Also small salad portion for a 11.49 salad…

I came here last night with a friend of mine and honestly we experienced the worst service ever. The waitress was short and curt with us. She never came to check if we needed more drinks or anything, but would check in the two tables that we were between. When we finally got our food she rudely said «oh you got your food finally?» Not a how’s the food tasting. I’ll probably never come to this location again.

Bleh. Fiancé and I went here to celebrate something and I was craving potato skins. Who would have thought Applebee’s wouldn’t have potato skins?
Anyways, it was happy hour, and thank god because I would never pay full price for the microwaved cheese dip appetizer we got. Fiancé’s burger was cooked wrong and his fries were cold. You could tell my potato soup had been sitting out too long and they had to heat it up in the microwave because it was super hot and congealed in places.
The place was a total mess with crayons and napkins everywhere, but in their defense it was kids night. The waiters were sweeping the debris from under the tables into the aisles so it could be vacuumed up later. The place looked real dirty. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was because our waiter had a pretty upbeat personality and constantly checked on us.
Won’t be going back to Applebee’s for awhile!

I take a trip to Applebees once every couple of years to just reaffirm my opinion of the chain. Dirty, slow, underwhelming.

This by far is the best applebee’s in the Columbus area. The food is always hot and the drinks are always cold. Employee’s are friendly and they make sure you are satisfied completely with every visit. I recommend the happy hour special 5 imports in a bucket for $ 11.45, that’s only $ 2.29 a piece for a premium drink. They offer a live band every wednesday, Ladie’s night, & drink specials. Come by you know I’ll be there.

This past weekend I met my sister and her husband there. The table was sticky and I mentioned this in front of the waiter who apparently does not care. The waiters are the type that pretend they were somewhere else and respond only to their questions, not yours.

fun employees, but the food is bland. everything on my plate looked and tasted like it was over-​nuked.
