Groveland is a convenient place to stop by to go to Yosemite or go back to the Bay Area from Yosemite. We stopped by coffee on the way to Yosemite for the fall backpacking. It’s nice to open before 8 in even off season October. The service was friendly, too.

The breakfast burrito was really good! The women working were really nice. The coffee, however, was subpar according to my live-in coffee snob. He had the cowboy coffee and wasn’t too impressed. I was not thrilled about my double dirty chai either.

I stop in every time I come to PML, which is a few times a year. They have the most amazing coffee but if you don’t get the young girl behind the counter, you will experience the most unpleasant people. They won’t even make eye contact with their customers. The young girl is amazing and is the only reason I keep coming back, she makes the best coffee!

I go here for coffee when I am in Groveland because it has the best coffee in my book. The only problem, and for me it’s a big problem, is the staff. When I go into a coffee shop it’s really off putting to be ignored, and then when finally given any attention it’s with no smile or any sort of hello. There are two other women that work there that I have seen, both blonde and both very friendly, but there is one older woman with curly brown hair that is so incredibly rude. My boyfriend likes mountain sage down the road but I convince him to take me here when I am in town and we drop money there all the time. This lady and her horrible attitude and off putting rudeness has lost them my business though. This morning I had the exact same uncomfortable experience and thinking maybe she just didn’t like me I watched the next couple to come in. She didn’t even great them, didn’t smile, just turned to them with an annoyed ugly look and waited. Want incredible coffee? Go for it! They have some great stuff, good food and some awesome staff members. I’ve given up convincing my boyfriend to go there rather than mountain sage though because of how crappy this lady treats the customers. It’s just upsetting to me. I work in food service and couldn’t imagine treating customers with such rude indifference and maybe that’s why she bothers me so much. Enough to make me write this review after going to the coffee shop about 7 times. The other two girls are adorable and friendly though, always with a smile and a hello.

Mine & my boyfriends favorite coffee place. Ever since we moved here, the staff has been super friendly and helpful. Kendra(who is my favorite barista) makes amazing drinks for us every time, but the entire staff is great. Highly recommend this place over the other guys :)

The espresso breve I had was really good, best coffee I ordered in this town. Scones were in the oven baking while we sat at the counter. Not the roomiest place, but convenient and much better to-go rather than lingering. Friendly server.

$ 2.75 for two shots of espresso. We bought some of their«cowboy» coffee beans & they are delicious. Mountain Sage up the street has a hipper vibe. VERY organic/earthy. A very casual place to hang out & check the internet. Comfortable seating indoor or go out side and sit on a picnic bench. $ 2.50 for two shots of espresso.

I stop in every time we are in Groveland. I always enjoy the coffee and snacks. The young ladies that work there are always very nice and friendly. Plus there is a handy parking lot across the street.

The good: Location is great, décor is nice, place is clean, I like the idea of ready made sandwiches to take climbing with you. The Bad: They had a loud TV blaring some sit-com, pretty much the worst Latte I’ve ever had.

Place was okay; needs some upkeep and cleaning, but the very friendly female employee earned this place an extra star. Proves were reasonable. Blended java mocha drink was pretty good, would have liked it a little sweeter though. Excellent staff, tip here well!

Driving to Yosemite for the day? They have awesome breakfast options to go and packed lunches for your hike. Better price than anything in the valley or a nice snack while waiting for pizza in curry village. The bfast burrito and bagel are both very good and very filling. And the apple fritter is insanely good. Parking right across the street and overflow parking down the hill.

A sweet place. The first«normal» place to have coffee once you’ve left Yosemite. Great folks, great coffee, decent prices. The only drawback is that seating is a bit limited.

The decaf café was okay and Wifi is fast. However, the young blonde employee is very unprofessional. Constantly whined to her coworker and talked about personal things. She hardly paid attention to the customers but instead laughed with her coworker. I tried to work on my laptop downstairs but could not stand one more minute of her laugh and chatter.

We stopped here on our way to Yosemite b/c it was right next to a cool looking saloon that I wanted a picture of: O) I was very happy we stopped though b/c we had 2 very tasty Italian sodas. And there were so many flavors it was kind of overwhelming. The service was friendly and fast too. Cute place.

We stopped here for a pick-me-up for the long drive home after a weekend in Yosemite. Friendly staff, great espresso drinks, I would certainly remember and seek it out again the next time we headed that way. Bathroom under the stairs was clean, too, something I always appreciate when stopping to recaffeinate.

Came here for the first time(even though we live in Groveland) while our carpets are being cleaned at home. I needed to get some work done, so I got a large coffee and headed upstairs. There are a few tables and a comfortable couch up here. Not a bad setup. And, of course, the coffee is good and staff helpful.

We stayed in Groveland because it’s just a short hop from Yosemite. Groveland is a small town and we weren’t sure of the food options because we wanted to eat something but we wanted to head out quickly too, so we stopped in at Firefall Coffee. I had the«Cowboy Coffee» which is not listed on their website but I’m going to be calling the store to inquire about getting some. It was delicious, not at all bitter but with a good strong flavor. Love it. They had these cups of instant oatmeal that I will be asking about. They come in two flavors, fruit and nut, and a cocoa one. The cocoa one, which I tried, had the taste but not the yucky overly sweet taste. It was just warm and comforting. I don’t remember the coffee that the BF had but I can tell you what we ate. The scones. If you are there and you are fortunate enough to find that they still have cinnamon chip scones — buy all the ones they have but ask them to make more for the next group of people to come in. Cinnamon and chips(of cinnaamon), not at all overwhelming, warm, and mildly sweet and even if you don’t eat it right away, the taste and texture are AMAZING. By the way, if you’re there to travel through Yosemite — and most are, Firefall sells CDs that guide you from Groveland through Yosemite and it is so worth it. Also, pick up a Yosemite Gazzette. It’s a local paper made up mostly of volunteers and doesn’t make much money but it’s nicely done and full of good stuff. =)
