Pine Mountain Lake Lakeside Cafe at The Marina

Please correct me if I’m wrong but this lake is private, that is, you need to know someone with the power to allow you to get to the lake. I don’t see the benefits for Unilocal users to know about this great private place that they can’t visit. Will people start creating Unilocal pages for their private pools, home gyms and other places that not even 1% of Unilocal users have access to? If there is a way to get to the Lake, Kayak, Café instead of being sent away by the guard at the gate please let me know and I’ll change my review.

Great burgers and fish and chips. The marina views of the lake are awesome. Friday night dinners with live music are also a treat. I have been going there a fee times this summer and always have a good time. The only reason they don’t get 5stars is because they haven’t figured out a way to move the food quickly. When it gets busy it can take a long time to order and even a longer time to get your food. Not really a problem because the atmosphere and people are really cool

Really Dakota B? Did you really have to do this? It’s funny how the only person that got food poisoning was you because you were the one that cooked your own burger. Not once have we had someone say they got food poisoning from our food. Except you. I know I don’t have to defend my boss or anyone at the café, but I’m going to. Ivonne Deckard is a hard working, sweet and caring woman that would bend over backwards for any of us at the café, or her other employees at the other FIVE or SIX amenities she looks over for PML! Just because you flipped out on her one day when she asked you to get to work, DOES NOT mean you should come on Unilocal to try and bash her. You should have been working instead of sitting down doing nothing. You’re the only person that thinks this about Ivonne and I’ll be the first to correct you on it. Did you forget the late nights she was working with us? Or the FULL DAYS she would be at the café with us for Friday night dinners? Did it ever occur to you that she never HAD to come help us? She could’ve been selfish like another person that was our «supervisor» and left home the second her shift was over. But she isn’t that type of person. She doesn’t get to spend every night at home with her hubby and children because she’s busy helping us so things go smoothly. I don’t know where in your mind you think this is a shitty place or horribly run, but we get complimented every single day.

I visited today for the season opening and new breakfast menu. Gravy and Biscuits were awesome and what a perfect place and view to eat at.

Paula is an experienced caterer and cook at Hetch Hetchy, now managing the PML Marina Lakeside Café. The Marina is a great informal social and fun venue for the local PML community hosting the July 4^th flotilla and fireworks, etc. Open WiFi available but slow bandwidth. Bike parking to be available soon.
