I wish there was more than five stars! Before working with Mary, I had no idea just how IMPORTANT a great real estate agent was. When we first saw the home we wanted to buy, we felt as though we were staring at a huge mountain… and we had to find a way to climb it! Not only did we want to buy this home, we had to sell our other home to do it. My husband and I were able to move into our dream home because of Mary’s diligence and drive. I was immediately comforted by Mary’s knowledge and confidence, yet I realized as the process moved along that Mary took a genuine interest in helping us achieve our dream. Purchasing my first single-​family home made me very nervous, especially as I started looking in AG, outside of the area I currently lived. I wasn’t very familiar with Arroyo Grande, but finding anything in my price range in SLO was impossible, so I decided to move to the 5-​cities area. I came across Mary’s name on Unilocal,and after working with other realtors in the SLO area, I thought I would give her a call… definitely one of the best decisions I could have made!
Mary went above and beyond during the whole process: She was available at all hours to look at houses with me, she worked weekends, evenings, and was available anytime via phone or email. Her customer service is unsurpassed, and I truly felt like I was a high priority to her, even though I couldn’t spend as much money on a home.
Mary is honest, and does not try to sell you any house to make a profit. She realistically assesses the property and its value with you, and will point out strengths and weaknesses of a certain location and home. Most importantly, Mary listens to you as a client, and makes sure she will find the best home to comply with your wishes. I was impressed with her negotiation skills with the agent’s seller, and useful information throughout. The whole process was new to me, and could easily have overwhelmed me, but she was always at my side and shared timelines, documents and next steps throughout escrow.
She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) instantly and patiently, and provided great tips and insight as we were house hunting together. Mary provides the most helpful tips on investment property, and really knows the Central Coast real estate market with current and future developments. This is what I was hoping to find in a realtor, and she was the only person that delivered this extensive knowledge.
