Be prepared to ‘Fall In Love’ with Heidi… She is amazing. Does amazing work, is skilled, professional and fun. Give yourself a treat, even if you just go in for a Lip&Chin Waxing, it is only $ 20. Eyebrow waxing is transformative. (You probably have more facial hair than you think that you have, check it out in a mirror in the sun, scarry)
Her products are fantastic… I have spent money on high end lotions and potions but her LOTIONS AND POTIONS, the IMAGE Line really works better than anything else I have ever tried. I am a Fan !!!

Heidi did my makeup for my June 6, 2015 wedding in Monte Rio. (She also hooked me up with Nicky Gibson of Wishes & Secrets, who did my hair). They were both fantastic. I came up from Oakland for a makeup and hair trial about six weeks earlier and liked what they both did (that’s the one pic of me seated for lunch in Guerneville with a huge glass of wine!) But I decided that I didn’t feel entirely like myself. So for the wedding day we went a bit lighter on the makeup. Heidi and Nicky coordinated and tag teamed when I was getting ready in a cottage off the Monte Rio meadow (where the ceremony was held). They both charged very reasonable rates to come to me on my wedding day and I was really happy that I could take my business to two such remarkable entrepreneurs in the Russian River area. I couldn’t recommend them more. Plus they were fun.

I have been so impressed with the facials I’ve received from Heidi. I had ignored my skin for the past few years and Heidi has me back on track to a well-​moisturized and glowing complexion with regular Signature Facials. The treatment is the ultimate in relaxing, but the best part comes a couple days later when I wake up to skin that literally looks years younger. I would happily travel miles to be treated by her but feel so luckily that I have such an amazing place to go for skin care right in Guerneville. I love the products she recommends and am happy to treat myself to some seriously high quality skin care from June Bug.

Just had the most wonderful Organic Fascial! My skin is so happy! Thank you Heidi!!! Can’t wait for my next visit!

I need to update my review, because A) I’ve now been a June Bug client for 3+ years, B) I spelled Heidi’s name wrong in my initial review, and C) Heidi just saved me from an uncharacteristic breakout days before a big event!
Whether you’re passing through town or live locally, you can *trust* Heidi to care for your skin, and I mean, really trust … Trust, like she will look closely at your skin and customize a treatment. She cares about you looking your best, and won’t perform a service that isn’t in your best interest (i.e. there’s no, upsell, in fact, if a pricier treatment isn’t appropriate, she’ll offer other options.) Although she recommends products (mostly IMAGE and Tu’el, both Oakland-​based companies — yay, local!), she never pushes them and is generous with samples. Plus, the products work so well, you’ll end up buying them anyway to maximize your results!
If you’re looking for waxing, Heidi has a gentle touch and will offer great shaping and maintenance!
To recap, Heidi is the only esthetician I trust with my face, eyebrows and bikini. If I ever leave the Russian River, I know I’ll visit often to get my June Bug on.

Heidi takes such good care of me. She knows exactly what to do for my aging sun damaged skin. Heidi informs me of what she is doing, and why. The results are fabulous. I think she’s taken 10 years off of this face! :) The spa like environment is calming and enjoyable. Heidi has invited local artists to use the tranquil soft blue walls as a temporary gallery displaying paintings and drawings.
I am looking forward to my next facial, Heidi has suggested an eyelash tint! Excited!

I was up in Guerneville for my son’s wedding. I read some of Heidi’s reviews on Unilocal and then made an appt with her. She went easy on the foundation after I told her I don’t wear a lot of makeup. She made my eyes look bigger and brought out the hazel in my eyes with the eye shadows she used. She also put on a few falsh eyelashes and some lip liner. Everyone at the wedding said I looked great and my sister told me i should wear make up every day. I hated taking the makeup off at the end of the night! Heidi is great! She knows what she’s doing.

Love, love Heidi. She was recommended by a friend who told me how comfortable Heidi makes you and she was right! I just got the first facial off my life and it surely won’t be my last! Five years younger looking in under an hour! She was very knowledgeable and has a great botanical line. She gave me personalized tips for my skin care which were very helpful. Her space is very nice, welcoming and clean as well. Thanks Heidi!

I went to Heidi for waxing. She was great! Her space was clean and comfortable. The wax was easy and relatively painless. I had a pimple that was horrid and she took care if it and gave me a great product which I still use today. So awesome! I sent all my local friends to her And will continue to go for my skin treatments.
I finally went to her for a facial and she was amazing. Of course I figured that… my skin is glowing. Her products she suggested to me that I have been using work really well and I am going to go more consistently.

I am excited to move to Guerneville just to get more treatments from Heidi at June Bug Skin Care! I have problematic skin and the products that she used I ended up going home with. After 2 months of use, my face looks fresher and blemishes are far more manageable! He space is cozy, well decorated and pristine. If you’re coming to town, a visit to June Bug is a must!

Heidi is fabulous, she does awesome work and knows her product line well for someone like me who needs advice on what to use on my skin she is full of great advice that she has made my skin look amazing, and her facials are so relaxing and her waxing technique’s you will have to try, she made me feel really comfortable Thank you Heidi

I am really picky when it comes to my eyebrows being waxed or anything for that matter. I have tried a few other places before June bug and was either very disappointed with the work or customer service. But then I found this wonderful place and Heidi who works WONDERS. I will not go to anyone else, hands down she is the best esthetician I have had. I love how she shapes my brows and makes me look like a classy lady instead of hairy beast. She makes sure you get what you want, has great prices, and a beautiful workspace and last but not least is very personable. So if you want to be pampered with a facial or wax some unwanted hair I highly recommend giving Heidi a call. You will not regret it.

Heidi is fabulous! I can’t wait for her to reshape my eyebrows, after them being done for years the wrong way to shape my face. Her studio is super clean, mellow and welcoming. I have been to her for waxing in the last few months and she is wonderful and would recommend her to anyone!

I went in this past Thursday to get a facial from Heidi, while vacationing on the Russian River. It was wonderful! The products she used on me felt great on my combination skin type, and smelled diviiine. Her technique (magic hands!) was wonderful. I felt as though the genuine love of her craft truly came through as she gave me my facial. That on top of her warm personality made it just a really nice experience. I’m coming back next time I visit Guerneville.

Heidi gave my sisters and I facials during our stay in Guerneville. It was my first time getting one so I didn’t know what to expect but Heidi made the experience awesome. Heidi did my makeup and my sister’s for my wedding last summer in Monte Rio, and she did such a great job. I meant to write a review months ago. Better late than never! I don’t wear much makeup, nor does my sister, and we are awful at makeup for fancy occasions. Plus, we had booked an awesome photographer. So, I REALLY wanted a great makeup job for my wedding.
I got married last August on the Russian River. I found Heidi after searching through lots of other options nearby, mostly in Santa Rosa, which is an hour away on a windy road. Heidi was in Guerneville, which was much more convenient, and her prices were in line with similar salon’s prices, so I booked the date and made an appointment for a trial makeup appointment before the wedding too. I took along my sis for her opinion too.
Heidi’s space inside the Creations salon is very serene, and she exudes confidence in her craft. She is funny and sassy, too ;) We talked about the makeup options, and she did my brows, lips, and eyes. Although she asked for my opinion on colors, I wasn’t crazy about the way my makeup turned out in trial appointment– the colors just weren’t what I had pictured. Probably I didn’t give her enough info on my makeup preferences. But that’s what a trial appointment is for, so I emailed her and she suggested other colors and products we would use on the day of, and I felt confident about the changes.
Heidi was also flexible about driving out to my rental house on the morning of the wedding. This was a great plan, her idea. It kept me from having to drive all over town that morning and be stressed out. I cannot express to you how happy I was with the makeup! She did SUCH a good job. I looked my best, and my sister did too. My makeup lasted all day, through the crying, through the hot sun, through the dancing, into the evening. Thanks so much Heidi! You made me look really beautiful and feel so confident on my wedding day.
