This place is a dump! No exaggeration, booked it through Hotwire so we didn’t know what we were getting until after we paid. Long story short, we didn’t stay here, our money was refunded. Even if it had not been refunded, my family still wouldn’t have stayed here. The strip where the hotel is located is sketchy and when we pulled in we saw individuals with ankle monitors and a lady came out of her room and asked for a favor! Whatever that meant… We didn’t stick around to find out. I hope Hotwire drops this place from there listing, it didn’t seem safe and the hotel was very unappealing from the exterior to interior. Very BAD.

The reviews on this site are the reason I booked this hotel — 2 rooms. Never again. In all my years of travel, this is by far the filthiest room I’ve ever seen. The bathroom was dirtier than a gas station and full of someone’s hair; the linen had not been washed(one blanket had a bobby pin attached securely to it); the lamps — shades, hardware — were covered in some rusty, sticky-looking substance; and the cold water didn’t work in the sink. I wouldn’t condemn my worse enemy to this place. I’ve sent pictures to the manager and requested a full refund. I only give it one star because I had no choice.

This was a nice place for the money($ 65/night through Expedia). It was easy to find and close enough to the interstate without being loud, shopping and dining nearby(with WalMart being conveniently across the street, haha) and the beach, marina and downtown Gulfport just a few minutes south. We didn’t get a chance to try it, but apparently the attached sushi/hibachi restaurant is good. While I like that they put 4 pillows on each bed, I was not a fan of how they tuck them in to squares to arrange on the bed — it makes the pillows lumpy. While the area isn’t particularly loud, the walls are pretty thin, so we could hear the baby in the next room over crying at some point. The bathroom had plenty of towels and soaps, both of which housekeeping refreshed daily. There was also a coffee maker and coffee fixings in the room. Wi-fi was free, fairly fast and easy to login to without a password. Which was fortunate, because I had limited T-Mobile cell service inside my first floor room. The continental breakfast was good. I utilized the tray from my room to stock up and carry back my goodies. I enjoyed the waffles and the wide selection of PopTarts. They also offered cereal, oatmeal, 3 types of juice, coffee, a variety of bread and pastries, yogurt and fruit. I can’t give the Ramada 5 stars though, as I thought the carpet was a little dingy, the tiles in the bathroom were oddly slippery(high gulf coast humidity, I guess) and the walls/ceilings were starting to peel or sag and had not been repaired. Our ironing board was also completely rusted at the bottom and on the legs — while not impeding function, you don’t really want to lay your nice dress out and snag it on rust. It’s the little touches and updates that would bump this one up. However, those little touches would probably also bump the price up $ 20 a night, so it’s a catch 22.

One of the best bargain hotels in Gulfport! I really enjoyed my stay here. the staff were really helpful and my room was clean and well kept. Complimentary breakfast is always cool and theres a really nice sushi/hibatchi place next door and a wally world across the street with a decent beer selection. Would stay again!
