My husband, roommate, and I made the trek out to Gypsum to try this place! We had heard from a few people how absolutely amazing it was! I’m so glad we made the drive because it was FABULOUS! We ordered half the menu it felt like and everything was delicious! The volcano fries are something I now dream about! haha! Seriously, I had the saddest moment today when I ate the rest of the leftover fries for lunch. Everyone working there was super friendly. I can’t wia

I am usually leery of places with all 4 and 5 star reviews but this place deserves it. Great food, wonderful owners. Don’t pass up this place.

We stopped here on our way to Frisco because everything was going to be closed when we’ll arrive, and we did not regret our break! We had an amazing dinner. I was with my parents, who came from France and we really enjoyed the food, following the advices we were given. Menus numbers 4 and 6 were excellent! And owners very friendly. Thanks a lot!

I have never seen or heard of a Hawaiian restaurant ever before in my life, and to come across the first one ever in the heart of the Rocky Mountains definitely piqued our curiosity! We got takeout — I had the north shore shrimp, husband got Maui chicken, we shared volcano fries, and tried the pokê. The volcano fries were the bomb! Just enough spice and cheesiness. The north shore shrimp was good, the chicken was good too. The white rice was sticky and tasty, and the pokê was nice as well. I will be back to try the Oreos. :-)

Wonderful place! We were on the road and looking for good food in the area & the great Unilocal reviews drew us in! Our food was wonderful, especially the #1(pulled pork and cabbage). My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the chicken in my #4 haiku chicken) was pretty dry, but the flavors were still great! We also got bubble tea and Hawaiian shaved ice — yum! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends in the area.

Soooo tasty! Chicken teriyaki was on point. Will be trying the beef next time. Hubby got the sliders and said it was like pulled pork with amazing sauce! Ask for extra seasoning for macaroni salad if you like it! It takes it up a notch(: Such friendly staff here!

Awesome poki and volcano fries! –We live part time on the Big Island and can’t get food this good, not to mention the family hospitality! We had kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu and mahi mahi deep fried. All were good. We can’t wait to go back. Aloha.

This is a wonderful… although small… restaurant. It is family-owned and exudes the Hawaiian spirit of hospitality. The food is excellent(Kahlua pork is our personal favorite) and consistent. When you go, be sure to ask what their dessert is that day. Their cheesecakes are AMAZING! Worth the drive from Vail or Glenwood!

First but definitely not the last time here! Such an awesome place! Friendly atmosphere and super helpful staff. Food was fresh, authentic and delicious! We had the poke and the Haiku chicken. Both were really good! If you’re ever in this neighborhood I would definitely recommend this place. You can take out or eat in or they also cater! Could not have asked for better!

This place has by far the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced at any business in my life. Perhaps it is there contagious smiles that never leave their faces, or their helpful suggestions, or that they remember my name every time I come in, and ask how I am and how my family is. I have never gone to a business that I literally look forward to walking in the door because of how kind everybody is these are really good people. I generally come for the bubble tea. The bubble tea is great and the Boba is not too firm but not slimy. I also had the chicken with cilantro and coconut. It Blew my expectations out of the water. I didn’t think I would find a healthy option here, as Hawaiian food is generally not very healthy, but this chicken dish is a great healthier option. Not to mention, it tasted amazing!!! The restaurant itself is tiny, probably only five 4-seater tables, so it’s not great for big parties. However, it’s kid friendly and casual. It doesn’t seem like they prepare things in advance here, so the food is very fresh. On the downside, the service is takes slightly slower than what you might expect for an order at the counter joint. It’s better not to think of this place as a fast food restaurant – The prices range from about $ 10-$ 16 per plate, which is fairly normal for non-fast-food restaurants in this area.

My husband and I ate here tonight and it is probably the best restaurant food we have had since we moved to Eagle in May. The short ribs are so full of flavor you just can;t stop til they are gone. The fried Mahi Mahi was cooked perfectly and the sauces are delicious. If you are in the Eagle/Gypsum area and do not stop into Ekahi for lunch or dinner, you are missing out!

DELICIOUS. We liked every thing we ate – never having Hawaiian before. Great recommendations from the girl behind the counter. We shared the Maui chicken(sweet and yummy), haiku chicken, and north shore shrimp with some sweet rolls. And to top it off a taro bubble tea. Would def return here again. Friendly and nice folks. We were welcomed with an Aloha(:

Not a huge menu. They make up for it with flavor! The guy running it was very nice and helpful with ordering my bubble tea. I got a meal for my kids to share, he divided without me asking. I love the personal attention. If yo can’t stay for a meal, at least stop in for a bubble tea. I could come back everyday for a month and try the different flavors. My kids downed their meal, liking their lips the whole time!

Man this place is good for being located in the middle of no where. Owners are super friendly and I could eat pounds of the macaroni salad. A little pricey, but for the location its to be expected. My only complaint is they stopped taking certificates, and I was left with several that I had bought.

Aloha. That’s what I got when I walked in. I was greeted with a shaka. First thing I saw was pictures of Hawaiian grindz and my mouth watered. Loco moco, saimin, chicken Katsu, Teri chicken and beef plates, and POG. Uncle took good care of us. I orders saimin for Selah and she pounded half of it. Jakey had the Teri chicken plate and he cleaned the plate. He even used the rooster sauce. I had the loco moco with Katsu chicken and it was ONO. This is gonna be home away from home. Mahalo uncle
