Elite Martial Arts Academy

This place is HORRIBLE!!! Now with that said let me tell you my story. I have been a resident of Hacienda Heights for 20 plus years. I have driven by this place a million times, now that I’m a mother and my child is of age I figured that I would take a leap of faith and try this Elite Martial Arts since it appears to have been open for years. I always do my research and take reviews very seriously and I found it odd that as old as this establishment is it had no reviews on Unilocal or anywhere else for that matter. So let this be the first and unfortunately for them it won’t be a favorable one. The staff there appear nice and attentive when you are inquiring about classes, but once you register and they get your money the attentiveness and professionalism is out the door. We never got a schedule for my child’s Judo classes, we never got a testing schedule and the «set classes» were never at the same time. The classes ran as short or as long as the instructors wanted. I had major issues with this, how can you promote structure and run a business with none. Also the billing is a nightmare. My account was automatically deducted the tuition monthly, yet I constantly received delinquent billing notices. When I called to try to fix the problem I never got a call back. The couple that runs this establishment are the worst in costumer service Angelica and her husband Robert never bothered to address our billing or class time issues. They shrugged it off and claimed we would get use to the class schedule and we would catch on to the testing cycles and promised the billing issue would be fixed. Weeks later I still received billing notices. And my poor son had to endure surprise testings that took hours. HOURS! My child is 6 yrs old, but to them in didn’t matter. I honestly could go on and on about the lack of tact and professionalism of this horrible establishment. But I will just say, stay away from this shady, Mickey Mouse «martial arts «place. They are the absolute worst. I would never recommend it and I will tell everyone I know how unhappy I was with them.
