I was on my way to work one morning when I had a serious craving for a Monster energy drink. I spotted Market 1 on the corner of Gale and Stimson and quickly turned into the parking lot.
The market is small and loaded with stuff. And when I said loaded I mean LOADED! Anything you could possibly want from oatmeal, to liquor, to underwear even is there! It’s great if you want a snack or are in desperate need for dish washing detergent. The selection of items is huge, there liquor choices are pretty impressive as well.
They have ATM (they charge a small fee for use 60 cents I think) but best of all it’s a family owned market. When I was there it was a mother and son running the counter and they were more than nice. I went again in the morning and another gentleman (probably another son) was working and he was very nice as well. Nothing but smiles and laughs.
I love this place – definitely where I go when I need to pick up something on the run.
