This is place is nothing special. It’s a decent place for lunch because of the lunch special prices and portions. But the service is not so great. The staff wasn’t very attentive, even though the restaurant was not busy at the time. And if you don’t carefully look at the check, you’ll miss the fact that they include 18% tip in your total. And finally the food was decent as well, but again nothing special.

This restaurant is barely mediocre. We waited an hour for an appetizer and another 45 minutes for our entrees. To add insult to injury, all of the meals were brought out one by one, and one member of our party didn’t receive their meal for an additional 20min after everyone else because the kitchen staff forgot! Stay far far away from this poor excuse of a restaurant!

The only thing better than the DELICIOUS food was the service. What a gem. We’ll be back!

I know food is good. It is Thursday. Do I really need to wait an hour and half for a delivery. Oops.

I came here for lunch with my coworkers. staff was very welcoming and seated us right away. menu is full of great food choices and combination platters. perfect place to go for lunch or dinner.

First time ordered from this place, the ingredients tasted fresh… both my husband and I love the food and they do deliver which is a plus!!!

Ordered quesadillas no salsa on plate ordered empanadas no flavor order entrees cold but funny thing ordered a milkshake and had to ask for a cup with ice for it plating was nice but food horrible and they know for bad they charged automatic gratuity

We (4 people) went with a $ 60 groupon and I already knew about the 20% automatic gratuity so I braced for terrible service. And indeed it came in the form of our waiter, no name tags so I have no idea who he was but i’ll call him «short guy». so short guy had no smile on his face and no friendly manner, just matter of fact. he gave us menus and left. we waited 15 minutes and finally short guy came back and took our orders, then came back 5 minutes later with our water and left again. no bread basket, no chips, crackers, nothing but air and water we swallowed while we waited. another 20 minutes passed and we were still without food. I noticed short guy and waved to him and he looked at me and then continued talking to another customer at the counter as if I hadn’t called his attention. After a few minutes HE decided it was then time to come over, we asked about our food. He looked down at the table as if realizing at this very point that we had none, which was comical, because he was the one who took our order. So short guy goes to the kitchen and a minute later he and other servers come out with all our food which was fresh and hot. short guy leaves and doesn’t come back again, like ever. we enjoyed the food immensely, it was good and did not taste bland at all. I am Hispanic and have tried all kinds of Caribbean and Latin food, this food was tasty. After we finished eating we noticed that once again short guy had disappeared. But then a female server came over to ask if we needed anything, we needed napkins and I took the opportunity to ask about our bill. She was nice, friendly, efficient and even smiled. Nice girl came back with napkins and told us that we needed to spend $ 4 more for our Groupon bill so I ordered two desserts because we really wanted to try them, tres leches and flan which we delicious. She came back quickly with the bill, our packaged leftovers, and told me that gratuity was already included. She did not try to get over like other restaurants that include the gratuity and don’t tell you anything when they hand you the bill so they can get an extra tip. Of course, there should be a sign up front to let all customers know about the gratuity anyway. So I did not include an extra tip because of the slow, inattentive and rude service of «short guy» but overall I can’t say it was completely terrible service because of Nice girl and another waiter– Tall guy who helped at the very end with my disabled father and with a smile wished us a good night. I will not be dining here again but my husband wants to consider takeout. I say there are many other restaurants yet to try and plenty of Groupons that we can purchase.

Went on a Wednesday night with a Groupon coupon. My wife ordered the SOPA DE MARISCOS (PARIHUELA or seafood soup) and I, the CHURRASCO BOHEMIA which was a combination platter.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Since my platter was a combination of a number of items I will list and comment on each:
1. Fried egg — don’t recall ever having one with my dinner but it was cooked perfectly
2. Maduros, or fried sweet plantain — delicious
3. Salad w slices of avocado — very tasty and a good mixture of healthy vegetables
4. White rice — not starchy tasting and good
5. French fries — fresh not frozen cooked perfectly
6. Skirt steak — left the best for last. I asked that the churassco be cooked medium rare. Rarely (no pun intended) do restaurants get this right but not here. It was cooked to perfection even though it wasn’t a thick cut.; I was impressed.
In summary, everything is cooked fresh to order (explains to delayed time serving). Loved this and that fact was that everything tasted wonderful. Will be going back for sure.

Tried this restaurant for lunch on a Groupon ($ 30 value for two). We calculated our appetizers and meals to $ 29.50. However when we asked our waiter for the bill, a sleazy car sales type employee came over to our table to tell us that we should get some deserts since we were under. He insisted we should get two. Then he brought out the deserts and our bill which said now owed them almost $ 20. At this point his suggestion brought the total up by almost $ 9 dollars, which made the tax and the mandatory gratuity higher as well. A gratuity that they do not tell you about nor do they state it anywhere. Now spending so much more on what we had intended for lunch. I questioned him and told him to please take off the deserts, his attitude and response was unacceptable. He was rude and unprofessional and said there was nothing he could do and that I should be happy with two delicious deserts. This place is revolting in their client service.
Also, the food is bland and not tasty at all which made everything so much worse!
The bad food plus the sleazy sales gimmick completely turned me off about this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

great local business that recently started to deliver. excellent food and my go to when unable to cook at my apartment.

What a pleasant surprise! When we walked in I did not expect the restaurant to be so clean and well designed. The eating area is also a nice size.
My wife and I were seated right away… there were about 6 tables taken. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Service 5 stars. We got a guacamole app. it was good but not the best 3 stars. However if i would of known the amount of food they give for entrees we would have never ordered a app. I got the Columbian Platter… WOW i posted a picture. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked. My wife got the avocado salad with shrimp. They loaded it with very fresh avocado and there was about 6 decent sized shrimps. She loved it. Nicely portioned. Food 5 stars. I would have given it more if i can.
Lasting impressions: this is a can’t miss place. The prices are amazing the food is outstanding and the service attentive. A MUST TRY if you are in the mood for some authentic Mexican, Columbia, Spanish food
. We will most definitely be back soon. This will be our new spot when we are craving a well cooked authentic resturant with great staff and comfortable ambiance. We will see you soon!

The food here is amazing, been here twice so far. I ordered the short rib soup & churasco chicken (very flavorful). Their homemade green cilantro hot sauce is a must! Our server was good.

Food is good but SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS! Service is nasty and take additional money when you use a credit card under their limit which seems to change often. This place is fishy. Not nice people. delivery and dine in take So long !

In all fairness, I’ve only had stew here. I’ve had the Caldo de Costilla Completo (Short Rib STew??? with rice) both times I’ve been here because I’ve been sick as a dog and needed this to get better. The caldo (stew) is very tasty, not overly salty, tastes very homemade. It has plantain, yucca, corn on the cob, and the short rib. My biggest complaint is that the short rib portion is extremely, extremely cheap. You almost get no meat at all because it’s a tiny little thing and only one tiny little thing. That is honestly my biggest complaint, otherwise, the stew hits the spot.
The inside is very nice and inviting and based on other reviews, I’d like to return to try something other than the stew out.

Ive been eating here since 2010. Discovered this restaurant because I worked near them. LOVED their chicken soup and their food looked and was always fresh. Changed jobs and totally forgot about them. Came back today and as far as the food, nothings changed. They redecorated and looks the place looks great. Good flavors and fresh ingredients. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Plenty of space and they added an outside eating area.

I wanted yuca fries. This place has yuca fries. My coworkers and I stopped by after a work meeting for a quick bite. I ordered yuca fries, a beef empanada, and an arepa blanca con queso.
The yuca fries and arepa are made to order I think, because they came out much later than my empanada which was taken from the heated display case. The empanada was alright, kinda small for $ 1.50, I’ve had better. The yuca fries were very good. They were cut thin and very crispy, cooking the starchiness out of it. The arepa was filling as hell. A bit too much butter/​oil, but if you’re looking to be really full for really cheap, grab one of the arepas.

Bad restaurant! I went there on a Thursday evening with my wife and this place made us wait 30 minutes for our waiter to get our order. They took another 30 minutes to make the food too! To make matters worse, they included an automatic gratuity of 15% …
I asked the manager why the gratuity was included for their poor service and he said «it’s their money. They deserve it.»
I said «there is no way I’m paying for your poor service. Tips are optional based on the customers. Not based on you. Show me in the store or menu that we have to give a gratuity.» He had no response …
He told me to call the cops if I have a problem. NEVER GO HERE! Horrible services and poor restaurant!

I came here for lunch with some coworkers. First, there were plenty of seats, which is always welcomed and they have a lunch menu ($ 7 without soup, $ 8.75 with soup).
I got the chicken stew with rice and beans. It was delicious and thankfully, it was dark meat (my preferred choice).
It cost me $ 7 (no soup because the portions are huge here) and I brought home half of it! It literally became two meals for me!
The staff is super friendly and attentive. We were in and out within our one hour allotted time from work.
Also, the music is pumping in here! My colleagues and I were dancing away (eyes closed and happily swaying) while there.
Though I date a Colombian myself, I don’t know how authentic this place is. But either way, it’s pretty good and especially for the price! Would definitely return.
