Taste of Tuscany

Great pizza and all around food. In comparison to the other options in the area this is at the top of my list. Only knock is they don’t deliver but with the amount of walk in business they receive it’s understandable. Haven’t tried their entrees yet only the pizza and sandwiches but I’m sure they’ll be great as well. Definitely recommend.

Have to say my wife and I were pleasantly surprised! We came for dinner and got the anti pasta app. huge and very fresh. My wife got the small chicken salad and it was HUGE and perfect. I got the veal parmesan very good. One of the better pizza restaurants in the area. A must try! We will be back. thank you! BYOB

These «Italians» know what they are doing. They are friendly assholes if that makes sense. Pizza is good and price isn’t bad. I always make this a stop on all my trips back home

Usually, the neighborhood pizza joint is alright and you gotta drive to get to the real good stuff. Not with this place! Their pizza is delicious and that is coming from someone who is quite picky about her pizza. Not only is their food great, they are also very nice and friendly people. Always give me tons of garlic knots with my order without me asking. Plus, they remember their regulars and always greet you warmly. Even if I move away, may still stop by here when I visit, pizza is that good.

Probably the best pizza I’ve tasted in a looong time… Grabbed 2 slices the other day and had had to grab another 2 today it was that good… Keep up the awesome pizza !!! P. S… Thank you for the garlic knots sample…

Is probably one of the best pizzerias in Bergen County. Darfinitley recommended if your in the area.

I la la la la la la loveeeeeee their pizza! It’s delicious! I’ve tried their white pizza, vegetable pizza, chicken cutlet pizza and my absolute favorite is ziti pizza!!! Carb city! But so worth it!

Excellent food and service… The company I work for goes here often and I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. The portions are amazing. I had the rigatoni fiorentina and I could have split it between two more people. I highly recommend this place. The chicken francese is also one of my favorites…

Awesome pizza and garlic knots! The guys that work there are very kind and for the girl that was complaining about the pizza tricks I guess doesn’t like to be entertained because its pretty cool! Not like their gonna drop it and give it to you lol. In the back they have a dining place cozy small store and clean!

The food is always fresh and tasty. Tonight we had pasta entrees. There is always plenty for leftovers. Garlic knots were fresh and hot. This restaurant never lets us down.

I have been on the hunt lately for good Italian restaurants to mix into my selection of lunch spots in Hackensack so i read about «Taste of Tuscany» here on Unilocal & decided to give it a try. FYI this is a take out review …
Ordered a large cheese pie with a chicken soup and garlic knots. The cheese pie was solid, but not spectacular. The good: nice amount of cheese & sauce combination & not too salty. The not so good: slice was only somewhat warm & small in size compared to a an excellent sized slice; you can eat a slice in just a minute or two. The garlic knots were definitely really good but the chicken soup was a miss; As seen in my photos the broth was a cloudy/​creamy color as opposed to a clearer broth which i think makes for a better soup & while i think it was made in store it did not have a freshly made taste. I would guess their other soups are better & i am willing to give them a chance next time because the chicken soup wasn’t bad; just below average.
Overall, Taste of Tuscany seems like a solid spot for italian food in Hackensack & thus far has surpassed a couple of other pizza places i have sampled in the neighborhood. I am looking forward to giving some of their other menu items a shot in the near future.

Food was delicious!!! My mom just came back from a month long trip from Peru and after she indulged the Peruvian cuisine there, she said to me «I am craving for some good pasta» so we went here since is very close to my house and the food is always fresh and taste like authentic Italian food.
Service was great! Waiter was very courteous and answered very well my questions! Just the only thing I can highlight from the bad side is he took extremely long to pick up my credit card after I got the bill. I had to ask if I could pay at front where people pick up food for take out. I knew by his face expression he messed up but I understand it was very busy at the moment and he was taking care of a lot of people!
I will always come back :)

I stopped by this place on several occasions.
First time the place was busy, there was a young man who was handling all the orders. He was flinging pizza here there and everywhere. Pizza was flying all around.
I ordered the white pizza that had a strong garlic taste. I didn’t like it… white pizza is all about cheese and that’s all I want to taste not garlic.
Regular slice… excellent but both slices were luke warm, I guess the kid with the thousand hands took it out too soon or so I thought until I went back again.
This time I ordered a regular slice and a grandma slice… different guy an older guy and there was nobody in there except me. Both slices were luke warm.
So the moral of the story, Taste of Tuscany had good pizza but you have to make sure it’s hot and if the kids there… DUCK so you don’t get hit with one of the flying pizza slices.

Delicious food — garlic knots (fresh and soft), grandma’s pizza (perfect crust and sauce) and grilled chicken salad (chicken seasoned well). Will be back for more !

Would have liked to have tried the food, my three year old is throwing a fit and wanted some pasta. But this place looks like it serves only pizza and when I asked for a menu, they pointed at a take out menu by the register. Then despite the guy quite obviously eating at the bar, they proceed to tell me if I want to eat the food there, I have to go sit in the back.
A little communication goes a long way. She’d have chowed the pasta, I didn’t feel like the whole restaurant experience even if I HAD had a clue there was a dining room in the back. Plus I didn’t have time for waiting around on a waitress.
So I walked out.
Maybe someday when I do want the classy Italian restaurant sit-​down experience– oh wait no, they’re still in the same crappy strip mall that I only go to for groceries. I’ll take you guys’ word for it

Excellent. Great crust, foldable, flavorful. I got the white pizza: creamy, salty, and delicious. I will be back soon for more! The workers are great. The dining room in back looks spacious and lovely. Great spot to enjoy quality pizza.

Shopping center eats, not a big fan but this place is a gem. Came to have dinner tonight with two old friends and the staff was really friendly and attentive. I ordered the Chicken Verdi and it was yummy! Enough food to even take home! The service was quick and the great part was that we weren’t even rushed. If I’m ever in the area this is a place I would come back to. Would definitely like to try other items on the menu.

BEST PIZZA HANDS DOWN in the area. Unfortunately they do not deliver but it is worth it to go pick it up, trust me.
We like the traditional cheese pizza and grandma’s pizza is also delicious. We have been coming here for YEARS. They always give us free garlic knots too which is a nice snack for the car ride home.
