Although nice on the telephone, please stay away from this company because THEYDON’T KNOWWHATTHEYAREDOING. I called to get a repair estimate on my Electrolux refrigerator(that kept dispensing ice/water without shutting off). The appointment was for a Saturday. The«technician» came and THOUGHT it could have been a shut off switch but he «wasn’t sure» and he would have to call another technician and/or Electrolux to get some input… but since it was Saturday, the call would have to be on Monday. I paid for a diagnosis and estimate(70.00 + tax). NODIAGNOSISNORWASANESTIMATEGIVENTOMETHATDATEOFTHESERVICECALL!!! On Monday, the technician did NOT call me back. I had to call the office(in Flemington) and then was given a diagnosis that it needed a new dispenser and it would be over $ 300. Isn’t that funny? The«other» person diagnosed the problem without even seeing it! And may I add, the«technician» who came on that Saturday never even tested it! Of course, when you call the main office, although the lady was nice, NOTHING was resolved. I paid for a service that I did not receive and she kept saying that the technician gave me the diagnosis over and over again, which was not the case. And how can a diagnosis be given when the dispenser wasnt tested? No, there HAS to be other reputable people out there. Stay away.

The address shown is for one of their branches. We used their Morristown branch(for 13 years) but the phone number shown is their Flemington NJ corp headquarters and it shows their logo. On 11/11/2013 we called to have Appliance Master replace our Viking ice maker which they had replaced only 3 years ago. They charged us $ 149 but refused to give an invoice saying they now emailed them. This charge was supposed to contain a 10% off coupon and a credit from a 7⁄29 service call to look/repair 2 ice makers. They had charged us $ 214 and said both needed to be replaced but they would apply part of this charge when we replaced the ice maker and gave us a coupon. The day after the service call they called and told us they had underbilled us by charging us for a cheaper ice maker despite sending the correct Viking replacement. When we tried to have them give us details, they called back 3 times with different amounts with inconsistencies. The service manager finally emailed an invoice for an additional $ 149 charge but with apparent inconsistencies. I called him Monday, but he did not call back but I did finally talk to him on Tuesday 11⁄19. He was belligerent, saying they showed everything after, sales tax including my 11⁄11 payment and that the repairman who was at fault. He would not quote labor, parts tax, credits. discounts or prior payments without my forcing him to. I finally decided to pay the amount but advised him that I would never do business with them again and that I found their billing practice to be non transparent and probably unethical.
