So disappointing! Chicken was rubbery, rice mushy, sauce out of a jar. To me it was not even edible. Our table of 5 all agreed. I’m not sure how this place has so many stars?

Place is okay. I eat a lot of phở, there’s nothing authentic going on here. Korean owned establishment with almost fast food style dishes. Phở was mediocre and the side of ‘fresh’ vegetables didn’t have bean sprouts(just happened to be out… how can a phở place not have bean sprouts??). Alternatively seeing as they have no competition and are pretty much the only«Vietnamese» offering within 30 miles I guess they can get away with the sub par food and price gauging. If you want real Vietnamese food make your way east, don’t confuse this place for authentic Vietnamese food, it’s not even close.

I’m Vietnamese and new to the area. It was a surprise to come across a Phở restaurant in Warren County. The husband and I, hopeful yet hesitant, decided to give this place a try. We ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer, which is advertised as 6 pieces but are actually 3 spring rolls cut in half. It did not come served with traditional Vietnamese fish sauce and garlic as a dipping. Further, there was no lettuce leaf or pickled vegetables served with it. Slightly disappointed, I hoped my phở was better. I ordered the Phở Combination, which is a little overpriced at $ 12 considering the bowl was normal sized. The broth was decent. As for service, the server was nice but she was the only server in the entire restaurant. It took quite a bit of time between us getting seated and then placing our orders. Some other positives include the water spigot at each table. Overall, we will probably return when the phở craving hits.

Ended up here by accident and OMG what a find. Our server Sara was great, she went out of her way to explain everything and made some great recommendations. She really made outer visit memorable. We had the shrimp wraps for an appetizer and they were not only delicious, but very fresh. We had the Phở with chicken dumpling s and immediately fell in love, the lemon grass and basil flavor came thru and was absolutely amazing! We will be back again and again. Their prices are very reasonable.

This place never disappoints. Service at a slower pace but not so slow you feel forgotten. The food served here is like a hug that warms the soul. Try the phở and ask for it spicy. The broth helped me feel better after a nasty cold. Definitely try an appetizer. We try a new one each time we stop in. I don’t have a favorite – they have all been great. Fresh ingredients and locally sourced.

I took my wife for another great meal at TOPO last night. I departed from my usual curry/stir fry choices and tried the Roasted Chicken. I am so glad I did, it was absolutely perfect. I ate everything. I also had the Summer Rolls as an appetizer. Bacon and Asparagus with a really wonderful spicy sauce. Delicious. My bride had the beef stir fry and she raved over it. We both tried a flavored ice tea and they were really refreshing too As usual the service was friendly and attentive and the price was right. Great place and a great night out. Thanks TOPO

Love love LOVE this place. I always Order take-out, and have yet to eat-in. I’ve never had a bad meal from here, and the staff is always very accommodating. Authentic Menu, real food with big flavor. Great for lunch, awesome for dinner. Keep up the great work guys!

Everything was excellent. We got the sampler app, stir fried glass noodles with tofu/avocado, phở sate with chicken, key lime pie and crème brûlée. If you have a htown library card you get 10% off.

I have to say this place provides tasty phở! Although it might be tasted bland to someone, it tastes just right to me. It doesn’t contain a lot of msg, and the soup color is exactly what I m looking for(some restaurants put a lot of soy sauce and msg to make it strong but that’s not AUTHENTIC!). The only cons I can say is the garnishes are not very fresh, and some of the leaves are black already.

I am a huge fan of phở and this is hands down the best place to get it in North Jersey. I recently moved to Bergen county and haven’t found anything that comes remotely close to Topo. This is seriously a hidden gem! The restaurant is clean, servers are friendly, and you can watch subtitled tv. Highly recommend the lemongrass chicken dumplings. The spring rolls are delicious and all the dipping sauces are perfect. I’m also a huge fan of the pickled vegetables, they are a perfect combination of sweet and sour. You have an outlet and a water dispenser at every table so bring your phone charger and tuck in for a worry-free evening of fantastic cuisine. Sidenote: If you order ramen be prepared it’s not like the packaged soup we are all accustomed to, it is more authentic(like a dry noodle dish). I recommend asking your server first if you have any questions.

The phở was delicious. The broth was very good and the noodles and meat was awesome. The service was a little slow but there was a rush of people that seemed to all walk in at once. Liana did work her butt off and got the perfect order just how I asked her. The restaurant is clean and very warm and inviting. I will come back.

Delicious food and a creative menu. I don’t eat meat or I would have tried the brisket ramen. My two companions and I had lunch specials – huge plates. We all had vegetarian spring rolls(they give you two each – with lunch!). We’re all vegetarians, so we got our main dishes with the tofu/avocado option. You get half a sliced avocado to mix in, which felt extravagant to this NYC dweller. $ 11 isn’t the cheapest lunch special in the world, but when everyone takes home leftovers you don’t mind so much. The service isn’t speedy, but we weren’t there to get in an out quickly. I appreciated the pace.

If you’re in the mood for Vietnamese comfort food, this is the place. From their drinks to huge bowls of noodles… Everything is amazing. My favorites are the jasmine green tea, Crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and Phở pork. Get a bubble tea while you’re here, it’s life changing. I always get the coconut with strawberry boba. It’s also BYOB, so that’s cool.

I was a newbie to Vietnamese food and this was not a good experience. I waited half an hour before being seated and the food wasn’t that great. Because of the poor service I decided to only leave a dollar tip. The waiter came out to my car, knocked on the window and harassed me for giving such a low tip. If the service and food was better I would have given a better tip

Interesting experience and… edible food. Took 20 minutes to seat us. Only one server in a busy restaurant. We ordered, and was informed after waiting for 5 minutes that dumplings ran out. The friend who ordered that dish just reordered, not a big deal so far… Then we received the phở… they ran out of bean sprouts and cilantro. If they ran out, they should have informed us beforehand. Phở broth was overly salty and lack of garnishes did not help at all. And then I found more than 6 insects in the bowl. Instead of a refund or asking us what we wanted to do, they just sent out replacements… ate it because I was starving. it took an hour for me to finally eat! TOBEFAIR: Experience was made up for… they gave discount and took off one(of three total) bubble teas for a discount of $ 10. It was fair enough since the meals are decently priced.

The Phở broth was incredibly salty and missing the light and aromatic quality I enjoy. Meat was tasty, but not enough to make up for the broth, and I got no basil. The grilled pork was extremely good though, and was great both on it’s own and in the pork banh mi. The banh mi, while not the traditional taste, was so good that I ate the whole thing ravenously while parked on the road with the car running. The curry soup was good, I liked the depth of flavor. Also tried one of the Ramen dishes. The noodles were stellar, and tasted fresh and sooo good. The problem was that they were so full of sauce that it was hard to enjoy after 5 bites. Also the meat was skimpy, although extremely tasty. Overall the food was good but lacking some and unfortunately did not satisfy my craving for Phở or Vietnamese

Just here the one time but I know we’ll be hitting this place often but probably just do takeout. Good food; good service. Downside– mens’ room blue walls. The ambiance was awful– I was totally distracted by the color to the point that it became a conversation at the table. Should be ok for grabbing lunch or maybe eating outside but dining in this room was just not comfortable. Worst possible color scheme ever.

I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while, and finally had time to stop in. I had the lunch special and a Coffee and bill came out to be almost $ 15. Not bad, but kinda on the pricier side for lunch. I went in expecting traditional Vietnamese Phở, but they also had some Thai dishes on the menu. I ended up getting Fragrance Basil Beef and Spiced Curry Soup. Both were really good! Décor was a bit too modern for me. I didn’t really get the whole Asian vibe. I guess that doesn’t really matter, but I don’t feel like the décor matched the feel of the food.

Not as good as the last time I was here. The Phở was downright mediocre. Definitely not worth the price for a small bowl and barely any garnishes. Not to mention hearing the staff argue about watercress. I’m hesitant about coming back. May have to drive the extra distance to Parsipanny, Morris Plains, etc
