Food is very good. Service was poor. Despite the waiter telling us all the pasta was made in-house when asked it definitely was not. Also, other tables wer given complimentary aperitifs, we were not.

Just had our Valentine’s day dinner there. We had risotto balls and grilled calamari for appetizer, seafood pasta for entrée and flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious(including their olive oil dip with bread). The only one I wasn’t too crazy about was the dessert.

Table for 6. If you go on a Friday night expect slow service all around from the kitchen to the help. I reserved a table for 6 in advance. My wife and I showed up before of our guest and ordered an appetizer We were told because it was peak hour we couldn’t order another appetizer until we ordered dinner. Of course our guest were disappointed when the waitress told them that they could not order an appetizer until we ordered dinner. I honestly don’t know why the restaurant said this because the appetizers took 15 minted and dinner took 1 hour and 15 minutes after that. The meals lacked flavor but were cooked ok. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the veal chop was tender but lacked flavor. I asked for a 2nd bucket of ice for our drinks but was never given it. I asked for our bottle of wine to be opened and it took 30 minutes. I was told our food came out slow because the chef(whom I believe is the owner) decided to serve an 11 person table ahead of 3 different tables including ours. Thanks. You made our valentines dinner a real nightmare. At least I was with good friends who were fun to be with. The restaurant tried to make up for it by offering complimentary desert but it was too late in my book 3 hours later. Lastly I was embarrassed because I used Unilocal reviews to pick this restaurant. Usually they are right on, but this time it was dead wrong. Avoid it on Friday and Saturday night and you will probably have a good dinner. :(

If you love great Italian food, you won’t be disappointed here. Amazing food, great staff, and good selection. You will hard pressed to find better food. BYOB. I am planning to return. We had a tuna with papardelle, the chicken sausage fig appetizer was to die for. Springy and delicious pasta fra diavlo also satisfied my yearnings.

Wonderful little local gem! Went for lunch on a Saturday and we were the only customers in the building. Great food and such a lovely waitress. I will definitely be returning.

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Took a friend for a special birthday and we were very disappointed. We had a 730 reservation, our appetizers came out at 9. There were 6 of us. We had many apps and entrees. The tuna tar tar had no taste, as if it had been frozen, same with the calamari — no flavor. The sausage in the sausage & figs was chewy and overcooked. The gnudi were awful, gluey and heavy and the sauce tasted like Chef boyardee. The veal was overcooked. We were very disappointed. Don’t waste your money.

This beautifully decorated BYOB restaurant is a hidden gem in the center of Haddonfield. The restaurant is relaxing and cozy with amazing food! I would highly recommend either appetizers, Suppli(meatballs) or Calamari Griglia. Light and delicious! For your entrees, I would recommend the veal saltimbuca, risotto, and/or their fish specials. The fish is always fresh and enjoyable! Also, you cannot end your night without dessert. Tiramisu is my most favorite here, but you can’t go wrong with any of the other options. The owner, Mark, who is a chef at his second restaurant is an amazing chef and takes a lot of pride in his kitchen. Not only is he an amazing chef, he is one of the sweetest chefs I’ve ever met! If you enjoy Da Soli, definitely check out Allora in Marlton NJ. It’s their bigger restaurant, which is perfect for events– bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties — they have the perfect space and lighting for it. SERVICE: Servers are very attention and friendly. FOOD: Bold flavors and made with fresh ingredients PARKING: Ample parking in the back of the building

We went their last night for our anniversary dinner after reading so many positives reviews on linked in. Food was ok — nothing earth shattering. I have had better Italian food before. Ambiance is alright — not really romantic for date nights. If you are a vegetarian or only eat chicken — your options are limited.

I recently had my rehearsal dinner at DaSoli. It was absolutely perfect. I had 40+ guests and the staff did an incredible job of accomodating our needs. DaSoli is a quaint BYOB in the middle of Haddonfield, NJ with a unique room, that makes you feel like you are in a little tavern in Italy. Mark the owner was very easy to get a hold of when we were booking and gave us an excellent party package. Which brings me to the food. Every course, from the antipasto, entrees, and canoli desserts were delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff did a great job of getting it our food to us and stayed pleasant the whole night. Our family and friends had an amazing time. My fiancé and I are very grateful.

Terrific food. Well prepared. Top notch. 5 stars. Cons: Incongruent Motown on the sound system. The bread sucks moose. You’d have to go to Texas or other 3rd world state to get«Italian» bread this bad. It’s that squishy white bread crap shaped like Italian bread. I wouldn’t feed this to pigeons. As is common with many Italian restaurants, there are multiple misspellings on the menu.

My gal pals and I went for restaurant week and we made it our of dinner like bandits because what a steal the dinner menu was! Highlights from the menu of local ingredients included the creamy risotto and unique watermelon shrimp salad that had surprises of mozzarella with every other bite. All of the entrees ordered were delightfully huge portions. The fluke and NY strip steak were favorites as the sauces for each highlighted and did not overpower. Even the accompanying vegetables created wonderfully harmonious dishes. I can’t truly comment on dessert only because our friend brought two amazing cheesecakes from NYC. I highly recommend coming here for any occasion!

Came here for a wedding thing, lot of people blah blah blah long story short I am writing this review because the pork with roasted peppers was fantastic. Would come back more often if I didn’t live in Philadelphia. Quality food and nice ambiance here! Service was good too!

Enjoyed a delicious meal there Friday. Service was attentive and friendly by the waiters. Had a delicious appetizer: chicken sausage w fennel w figs. Veal chop was awesome. Waitress seemed better suited for a diner though reading off specials from her order book w no insight or guidance to their appeal.

We were a bit disappointed, esp since the reviews here were pretty good. Our wait staff was nice but it took a little while to be serviced. Maybe they were short staffed? Our reservation was a little after 8 on a Friday night and we definitely felt rushed out around 930ish(like them taking our plates even though we weren’t fully done). Portions were pretty small given the price. My husband liked the Fra Diabolo but again it wasn’t much. The antipasto was pretty disappointing(4 – 5 items with very little cheese and meat). As we were rushed out, we went out for drinks to Capital Grille and considered ordering a steak. We exercised some self control and went out to a diner instead for a second meal. =P

My husband and I went here for a dinner date after a recommendation from a friend. Very cute little place! Bread and tomato dip was delicious! I had the braised short rib soup with corn and okra. It was really tasty! We also got the Suppli appetizer. They were amazing! My husband loved his spicy shrimp dish. I ordered the Ribeye special with broccoli rabe and fingerling potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection but lacked in flavor. Broccoli rabe was bitter but I enjoyed the potatoes. Service was a little slow but enjoyed the fact it was BYOB. Definitely want to come back to try other dishes on the menu!

Food was excellent. BYOB. We had a clam app which was great. I had a ricotta gnocchi which was decent. Nothing crazy. Boyfriend had linguine with clams which was very good. Salted caramel cake for dinner. No complaints there. However, I was let down in atmosphere. Went for a birthday dinner with my boyfriend. The atmosphere had such potential but it was soooo loud! I was surprised as most reviews made this seem like a romantic spot. The waitress had to practically scream us the specials. My boyfriend and I could barely hear each other across the table until the noise died down as people filtered out. Also he called ahead to get a candle in the dessert we ordered and they forgot that so he was bummed.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on Saturday night, and it was great. After walking around Haddonfield for a little we decided we wanted to have dinner at Da Soli. The restaurant was packed, but we only had to wait about ten minutes without a reservation. The restaurant is small, and has a main floor as well as a lofted area. The main floor has table set ups for couples and big groups. The decorations are simple, with an Italian flare. The restaurant was very warm; this could have been to it being so crowded. The menu is one page, and the prices of entrees range from $ 16 to $ 30. I ordered the Gamberi Far Diablo($ 24), which was a red sauce pasta dish topped with jumbo lump crab meat and shrimp. This dish originally came in a spicy sauce, but I was able to request a mild sauce. It seems that almost all of their pastas come in red sauces, not sure if they have any white. My boyfriend ordered the Boneless Beef Short Ribs($ 25). Both meals were delicious, and the portion sizes were pretty large. I was able to take half my meal home. The beef short ribs were very tender and could be cut with a fork. Before your dinner comes they provide you with bread and olive oil. The olive oil was the best I’ve ever had; it had a strong hint of tomato. The bread was okay, I expected better. Every meal is fresh made, so it takes a little time. We were there for about an hour and a half. They strongly suggest you get an appetizer or salad to start. My boyfriend and I were able to split the Caesar salad, which had delicious croutons. The wait staff was great. The restaurant is BYOB, but we didn’t bring a bottle– so our waitress gave us each a glass of the house wine. They also gave us complementary chocolate lemoncello to finish off our dinner. Parking is located behind the Haddonfield«mall.» And is free on nights and weekends. The place was pretty busy, so I suggest you make a reservation just to be safe. Da Soli Restaurant was wonderful and provided a great atmosphere with delicious homemade Italian food. This is a great place for either a date or a group dinner.

If you live in Southern New Jersey, love Italian food, appreciate great service in a quiet romantic setting, then you need to immediately stop what you are doing and come to Da Soli. I was introduced to Da Soli by a couple of friends who raved about the place. We came for lunch during the week and had one of the most memorable meals that I’ve had in some time. We started off with the caesar salad, which I am normally not a fan of, but quickly had my mind changed when I took a bite of the fresh romaine, big croutons(2nd only to bacon when it comes to salad components), eggs, and parmesan cheese. We also enjoyed a warm basket of bread, which had a hard, but not too hard exterior and a soft center(just the way I like my bread). As an appetizer, we tried the gnocchi, which is a dish that I rarely order but really enjoyed. The red gravy was full of flavor, not too watery or thick, just the right consistency for a gravy. The potatoes were also cooked perfectly, with a firm exterior and soft interior. When our meals arrived, I was completely blown away. I ordered the braciola, which is a pork chop, accompanied with risotto and broccoli rabe. The pork was nice and tender. Not at all chewy and carried a ton of flavor. By far one of the most savory pork chops I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. The risotto was very good and broccoli rabe had the perfect amount of bitterness. Once again not too chewy, with a nice crunch. To this day, I cannot think of such a great meal that I got for $ 11. My friends have told me that they’ve never had a bad meal here and that just about anything you get on the menu is bound to be delicious and after eyeing up my friend’s short rib sandwich, I think that is reason enough for me to return. Congratulations Da Soli. You just earned yourself a solid 5 star review in my book. P. S. From what I hear, it can get crazy packed here on a Friday or Saturday night, so be sure to make a reservation in advance if you plan on coming around that time.
