My sister donated her hair to Locks of Love. The haircut was free and the stylist was so nice and helpful. She offered her suggestions and was true to her wishes when she told my sister she would keep her hair as long as possible. I looked at the floor and there was hardly any hair for her to clean up after the haircut. Some people get scissor happy, but this was certainly not the case here. The stylist even said that my sister could come back if she was unhappy with her cut to add layers or change the style. That was comforting for someone who just cut off almost a foot of hair!

I went to Hair Event the other day for the first time to get highlights with Madison. I am absolutely obsessed with my hair! We had a great consultation and she made sure we were on the same page with what I wanted. It came out even better than I expected! The atmosphere here is very friendly and welcoming. And very clean! I WILL be coming back to see Madison! She was great!

Great prices with an incredibly talented and friendly staff! Hair Event is running a special right now where you can donate your hair to Locks for Love, and they will only charge you for the blowout(if you choose to get one done!). Yep that’s right – they’ll cut your hair for free if you donate it. How awesome? Jackie is my stylist and she’s wonderful. You can tell she knows hair and can completely take care of you if you have no idea what kind of style you want. Not to mention she’s sooo adorable and friendly. I was terrified of chopping 12 inches off of my hair, but she made me feel at ease and styled me pretty. I also had my hair done here for my brother’s wedding this summer, and they did a fantastic job of putting my hair up without making it look like a prom up-do(ownnn that ponytail… WORKTHATUPDO… anyone?) All-in-all this is a great spot and I’ll continue to get my hair did here until I die. Or go bald. Or move.
