It’s dangerous having this place within walking distance of our house. The hot fudge is AMAZING!

In a word… YUM! Fast, friendly service and the ice cream is delicious! Always get a generous serving, no matter what size you order. Not a huge area but there are picnic tables to sit and eat if you want.

Just had a great sundae …3 people for ice cream under 12 bucks. fast and friendly. will be back!

Mea’s Dairy Bar is a nice place to go for ice cream. Located on Rt. 58 in Halifax, it has a nice parking lot and a few picnic tables for people to sit down. I’ve only been here twice as I normally like to go elsewhere for ice cream but I don’t live far from here and didn’t feel traveling. With that the ice cream here is good. They actually take your order down and you don’t have a long wait. They have both soft and hard serve ice cream along with sundaes, frappes, pre-​packed ice cream treats, and milkshakes. I know my family liked it as when I asked them what they thought it was very quiet as they were all enjoying what they ordered! I’ll have to update this review as I’m not sure if they take credit cards as we paid cash. But its close to the Walmart and center area in Halifax that shouldn’t be a problem. The prices were nice and our whole family had a nice treat for under $ 10.00. So if your in the area and you looking for a way to cool off or get your sugar fix, come to Mea’s Dairy Bar.
