Yard House

Order snack. Shrimp ceviche. Nice size and a little on the sweet side. really enjoyed it also ordered. Shrimp vodka with red sauce. It was great ordered small size and it was filling. Service was great.

I am definitely a fan of this restaurant. My husband absolutely loves it. We come from NYC a few times a year and whenever we come to the area, we must go to this restaurant as per his request. The service is excellent and the wait although they say its 20 – 30 minutes always turns out to be less. (well at least the last few times we went there). I love how kid friendly they are, but also totally suited for adults. They have a little outdoor seating too which is great when the weather is good. Their drinks are great, and their AhiPoke appetizer is amazing. 6 $ only too. which is a steal. Big fan of this restaurant. The only reason why its not getting a 5 star rating is because I feel like their bathrooms could use a little bit more of a cleaning upkeep.

Service was fantastic, my waitress was extremely sweet and super fun to talk to. I came in solo after work to have some happy hour drinks and something to eat. Food was excellent and hot. You have to try the Kung pao calamari!!! Great beers on tap as well.

We came here on a Friday night and of course it was packed but this place is awesome so why wouldn’t it be? We waited for about 30 min and got called in. Our server was very sweet and really quick with our drinks and order. As our appetizer my Fiancé and I decided to get the Onion ring tower which was pretty good! Can’t complain about that. Oh and I got a pineapple cider beer (which was sooooo good)…
For our entrees we were both craving the burgers they make here so I got the truffle burger with the truffle fries and he got the surf and turf with sweet potatoes fries. Both burgers were fantastic especially my fiancés burger. His had asparagus, lobster, and of course the beef with cheese!!! We haven’t had awesome burgers like that in a lonnng time. Both were cooked medium and were super juicy and full of flavor. I love coming to this place! Super satisfied :)

Wonderful restaurant to eat at! Just realized the other day that they are owned by Darden. The service wasn’t the best, as it seemed like our server took twice as long as it should have to do anything. However, the food mostly made up for the slow service. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken, which was absolutely perfect! I want to go back soon, & will probably order the same dish again.

The wait was outrageous but I managed to find 2 seats at the bar. I had 3 different tacos (all delicious) although expensive were good!
My girlfriend had the salad which she tells me was delicious but again pricey.
Great live atmosphere and environment inside a great mall /​casino area. Can’t go wrong if your looking for food in the $ 15-​$ 30 range.

The food is great. Beer selection is even better. Have been coming here for a very long time. Lately, I think, they are having a problem with their tables outside. They are very sticky and makes me feel that they are very dirty, even though they may not be. It was enough for me to get up and leave. Will not be going back, at least until they do something about it.

Went there to satisfy a steak craving. Ordered medium rare and my boyfriend ordered his medium well. His was great but mine was done more than his. The waitstaff was going out of her way to make it right. She brought it out a little undercooked to see if I liked it but I think a good doctor could have gotten that cow back on her feet and so the lovely waitress brought it back a couple of minutes later cooked to perfection. Not only did she do a great job but even the cook and the manager showed up to check on us.
On top of it they brought my boyfriend a cute birthday cake with candle sans the sing and dance. What could have been a bad meal turned into a great experience. Thank you

Really nice night out. After having a terrible evening in South Beach, my husband and I needed to find a place to go to salvage the evening (his birthday too!!!) & this was it! Thank goodness for awesome customer service. It is still alive and well in some places, such as this one!
They accommodated us right away (party of 6) though Tuesdays are apparently their busiest nights. I was super impressed by this especially because of the holiday crowd. The server was really pleasant and the food was pretty good. A little bit like upscale bar food, but delicious nonetheless. They got the cook wrong on my burger (really welldone instead of medium), but the server was very sweet and immediately went to get it corrected by the kitchen. Overall the night was extremely pleasant, and after having such a crummy time dealing with terrible restaurant service in South Beach, a place like this was a gem.
If you go, the truffle burger is very good! Be sure to try it.

Came here once before about a year ago and was so impressed have been telling people all about it ever since, but this latest visit left me disappointed and unlikely to return.
The service was sub par. We were a party for 7, we were a chair short for 15 minutes, missing some plates and cutlery before we were finally attended to. After waiting almost 40 minutes we had to send someone to find a waitress and ask for any food to be sent out as soon as it was ready, appetizer entrée it didn’t matter we wanted food. Then there were dirty plates and wine glasses piling up on the table that were never attended to and cleared leaving it hard to maneuver ourselves on the table.
When all the main dishes finally arrived I think it’s fair to say we were collectively less than impressed. I ordered tacos that were dry and bland I had to put sauce from someone else’s dish to add some flavor. The others gave mediocre reviews, equivalent to those of the average restaurant down the road.
Some dishes ordered; the chicken and rice bowl, lamb burger, cheese burger, the Korean bbq beef was actually pretty good, cheese pizza, spaghetti, and the chicken tacos.
Probably won’t be back any time soon and most likely will not be recommending it to others. But on the other hand if you go with low expectations and are looking for the typical bar and grill meal like a burger, onion rings and beer I’m sure this place will adequately satisfy your needs (minus the service)

One of my favorite restaurants! They have so many options for vegetarians. The atmosphere is great the food is delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable! My favorite appetizer is the lettuce wraps!

It’s an American restaurant with traditional American food. The food is great. Had the chicken nachos for appetizer and grilled chicken and avocado sandwich for entrée. Ate half the sandwich and salad. It was good. It has a bar atmosphere and the environment is laid back. Definitely recommended.

Try to imagine enough beer to drown a horse. This Yard House has both the beer and location to do just this. I mean only if it wanted to. I definitely don’t encourage drowning race horses in beer. That’s just wasteful. The point I’m trying to make is you can drink wonderful and unique drinks all day while watching a parade of horses. It is quite the experience.
Have you ever been so thirsty one standard glass of beer doesn’t do the trick? Then a yard of beer should do the trick. The glass it comes in looks like a light-​saber and should be treated like one. Yard House duels should be much more common and the loser should have to drink another beer. Win– Win!
What if you’re hungry though? Then shove a surf and turf burger in your mouth. Yeah that’s a lobster tail sitting on your burger patty. Easily the best item on the menu. If you aren’t in the mood for burgers then get a freaking vampire taco. They literally can bring dead horses back to life they’re so good. But what if you’re a vegetarian? Then they got an entire section of food made with substitute meat to look like meat. Or you can just drink beer until you’ve been convinced to switch back to real meat. Bacon misses you.
Yard House gets 5 Vampire Tacos out of 5. Admittedly, some of the prices are a little steep but they make up in every other area. I feel like I never have to wait long to get any of my rounds of drinks or get my food. Yard house definitely doesn’t help you get back to the office on time though. Don’t forget to swing by for happy hour starting at 3pm. Yard House is all about the Booty!

So after my last review, the Yard House management contacted me to give them a second chance, which after a year, I finally decided to try out again. I’ve been meaning to update this review for a while, but didn’t get to it until now. I think it says a lot about a business when they reach out to any disappointed customers.
This time, my experience and service was much better. Our main server, Precious, was attentive and had our food and drinks ready at the same time, which is a huge plus for me. I was grateful they were accommodating of our attire, since my friends and I were coming from the beach and still in beach cover-​ups. I was the designated driver so I didn’t drink this time, but my friends enjoyed their alcohol. I got the Mac + Cheese which was delicious and full of cheese and mushrooms, just 2 of my favorite things. It has truffle oil which just sounds fancy so I’m down with that. I believe there was chicken in there too, and they also make a vegetarian version without it. All I can say is that I would definitely get that dish again and I’m glad I ate it after I went to the beach and not before.
After this most recent visit, I now understand why people love this place. Service is a big thing for me, because if I just wanted to buy beer, I could just go to Publix or Total Wine, but I’m paying for a good experience. A good experience to me means pleasant waiters, clean tables and chairs, a clean bathroom, a suitable ambiance, and food that arrives promptly.

We sat outside, what a great atmosphere! My friend said when there is live racing the horses are brought out to an area close by so you can walk over and see them. The wait staff were efficient and attentive as well as very personable. She even offered to split the checks for us.
We only had beer and appetizers, all of which were very tasty and the presentation was awesome. It’s one of those places where you ask your fellow diners what they ordered because you are planning your next visit. We will be returning soon!

What can I say about Yard House. I’m a big fan!
Love the location at Gulfstream! Situated in a prime spot directly across from the racetrack — Great place to grab a bite or a beer and watch them walk the horses prior to each race.
Service with a smile, for sure! Always promptly greeted with a friendly face and and a positive upbeat attitude during service. I like a little bit of «attention» but do not want someone hovering over me the entire time — And that is exactly what I have received each and every time. I like that the servers don’t take themselves too seriously — They have fun, joke around and make it a truly enjoyable experience.
Drinks! With so many amazing beers on tap. However will I decide?! I tend to gravitate towards the seasonal selections and try something new each time — Don’t get nervous. they let you sample first. I have yet to dive in and get a Half Yard glass. I’ll add that to the «to-​do» list!
Awesome Eats! The truffle fries are a must! As I’ve said before. I will devour anything that has to do with truffle anything! My usual go-​to is the Skirt Steak Salad — Perfectly cooked steak piled high with avocado, green beans, a gorgonzola vinaigrette (that I will use for the occasional dipping) and chips (yes, crispy, crunchy house made chips) — The salad is Yum in a bowl! French Onion Soup is amazing — Hearty, rich broth and topped with the prefect amount of ooey, gooey cheese! Turkey and Bacon Melt is a must try! I’m not a huge fan of Bacon (crazy, I know), but this sammie had just the right amount and was perfection. especially with the jalapeño spread. On our last visit, my fiancé had a new menu item — The Nashville Hot Chicken — Fried chicken, sweet potato pancakes and a hot honey sauce — Needless to say. he loved it! I could go on and on about all of the delicious! With so many Fantastic options. What will I choose next?

My favorite local bar! Yard House offers an awesome beer selection, wine selection, and an incredibly extensive list of signature cocktails along with unquestionably, the best bar food I’ve ever had.
If you sit at the bar try to find yourself in Lindsay’s section. What a doll! She’s super personable and attentive.
The coconut shrimp were as big as chicken cutlets! They were cooked perfectly and came with a couple delicious dipping sauces. One was a pesto sauce which was out of this world. The Kung Pao Calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. The sauce was delicious and it came with my choice of rice of which I chose brown. It was a great combination.
They earned the fifth star from me for my own selfish reason. Aside from seafood, I try not to eat meat, especially farm raised anything. Well, Yard House offers Gardein dishes (WWW​.GARDEIN​.COM). I’ve been pretty happy with the Gardein products I’ve purchased from grocery stores but I was cautious about paying extra to eat it at a restaurant. They absolutely pulled it off! I love boneless wings but it’s been a year since I’ve had them since my conscious won’t allow me to enjoy them but now thanks to the Yard House and the geniuses at Gardein I found an animal friendly way to enjoy some of the best wings ever!
Keep an eye out for their happy hour specials. They have happy hour from 3pm-​6pm Monday-​Friday and 10pm-​Close Sunday-​Wednesday which offer discounts on food AND drinks.

Today we had a very good experience at the yard House! Our service was above average, to the point I did congratulate the manager!
Food, most people in out party of 8 thought it was a fast food beer joint! Well, wrong… There are several «healthy» choices…
I personally had the cobb salad with salmon… Quite good and tasty! Impressed! My fish could have been on the «rarer» side, but it was ok… We had a tuna roll, whixh is not a roll but a type of tuna cake with avocado on top… For my taste, it was missing flavor and balance! We also had the lettuce wraps which were quite good… Ice tea is fresh brew which was a nice surprise for me… The place is clean, big, lots of TV screens to watch all kind of sports and a huge bar with a whole lot of different beer…
An option ton change from other places!
We did mention between ourselves that the check was a little hefty though…

La verdad me encantó la comida estaba excelente. Es yn lugar acogedor. Muy amable la chica que nos atendió durante la noche. Era lunes y estaba full. El postre inigualable.

So I finally go back to Yardhouse after years. And of course I was disappointed again. Years ago while I was there I had a very nasty waitress who would only change the television channel if you were Caucasian.
Last night I met with my best friend and our waiter kinda suck. It started raining and he never came over to see if we wanted to go inside or just if we were okay with the rain blowing into our food or drinks. There were even Managers who came outside and they didn’t even ask if we were okay.
To top the night off a man came in with his dog and sat him on the chair at the table. I was done.
I have two dogs and don’t have a problem with dogs but I would never sit my dog on a chair at a restaurant, hell What was next — the dog eating of the plates.
Very disturbing for me. I won’t be going back.

A pleasant surprise!
We decided to get out and make a day trip trip to Gulfstream Park for some fun and ended up here for lunch. It was Derby Day so the place was pretty packed. We had to wait about two minutes for a table outside, which wasn’t bad at all. It was entertaining to sit and watch the the people walking around Champions Plaza dressed in all kinds of bold colors and hats. If all we had done was had a couple beers and watched the people, that would have been worth the trip, but we were hungry!
I was pretty undecided on what to order, and every time I saw them carry a burger past me, it was hard not to choose one of those. They looked awesome. We started with the Ahi Tuna Sashimi, which was pretty good, but I still needed to figure out what entrée I would order. It I decided to get something that I can’t get during the week, so I went with the Carnitas Enchilada Stack. I had no idea what to expect after a recent bad enchilada experience, so I thought, «Why not?»
The food came out a lot faster than I was expecting given how busy they were, or maybe it was just that we were having so much fun with our beer. Oh, I didn’t mention the beer. OMG. Hubby ordered the half yard of one of their ales, and I thought I would never stop laughing while watching him attempt to drink that beast of a glass full of beer. It was the tallest glass I have ever seen. Well, it was a half yard… do the math. That is a tall glass. I had to take a picture of the inside of it when he finished, and I think I got motion sickness from that thing.
Back to the food. It was delicious. It had a nice kick and the flavors all worked together nicely. The fried egg on top was a nice touch to it also. I was able to eat about half of it, before I was too full. Hubby enjoyed his a la carte Tacos. I think the Vampire taco was his favorite, and our server said that was hers too. I didn’t try it myself, but listening to his orgasmic moans while eating it was all I needed to know. We both enjoyed our meals very much, and that is rare. Usually one of us enjoys it, while the other politely smiles and nods. We will definitely return here. We had a great time.
