Salsa is bland and boring. Staff are efficient, but not personable. Chicken fajitas were nothing special; more green pepper and onions than chicken. The super quesadilla was good. The atmosphere is noisy with lots of echo. It’s more of a sports bar than restaurant. We won’t be back because there’s no reason to.

I’ve only been here a handful of times but every visit has been spectacular. I couldn’t stray away from ordering the chicken fajitas each visit. They’re prepared and served on a sizzling iron skillet cook perfectly. Another favorite are their margaritas. Not extremely sugary with the right amount of tequila. If you’re not near Cincinnati or don’t want to make the drive down there for good Mexican food this is a solid option! Highly recommended!

This place after the first visit was pretty dang good. I know the owner use to own another restaurant down in Hamilton that was really good too and my favorite Mexican place to eat around here. I do feel like the owner tried to go more tex-mex but it still is good to me. I guess you can say he does well at blending tex-mex with authentic. I had the Pollo a la Villa… it was amazing. The prices were all reasonable. Clean establishment and the layout inside wasn’t too crowded. The margarita was awesome. My wife doesn’t like many alcoholic drinks but she liked this and it was strong. Service could be a little more personable but they weren’t rude or unreasonable so I’m not to worried about it. The waiter did his job and thats all that mattered. Overall if I’m up that way I will definitely make a stop here and enjoy.

We’ve been going here for a couple years and they never disappoint! Best Too Shelf Margarita(if they don’t add too much orange juice)! The best chicken chorizo quesadilla I’ve ever had!

Very good food. .nice friendly staff, clean restaurant. .this is our first visit-we will be back. .chimchanga was good-didn’t fry it well, like requested… tacos were good-ground beef was a little greasy like most Mexican restaurants. they give huge drinks-no worries about needing a refill. rice was fresh. .kept it simple when trying a new place. reasonable prices. .Taco Tuesday 1.00

Food was very well prepared and tasty. Served almost too hot. Got the crab enchiladas, husband got the pork. Salsa was addicting, couldn’t stop eating it. Also ordered a raspberry margarita. So good. Knocked me on my butt! Wasn’t expecting that. Definite return for us.

Great place. My wife had the fajitas combo. The flavor was amazing great chicken beef and shrimp. The veggies were tender and the pico was on point. The rice was bland and so was the beans but they have to make it bland for all to like. I got the chicken Chimi. It was good tender but bland. Could have used a few peppers. But as I said most folks would of loved it. I like it spicy. The beef is cold and the margarita was strong. We will come back.

My husband and I decided to do a Mexican night and lost interest in El Rancho Grande since they cheapened their foods and raised the prices. Coco’s was fun and a sports bar feel. I had a raspberry margarita and let me tell ya, It was the best margarita eva! The food was fresh and delicious, Salsa was flavorful with a slight kick to it; tolerable but not overwhelming. I was really impressed, our waiter was gracious and patient. 8pm on a weekday and just a few mins from our house. Will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this place, especially after another reviewer said it had the best salsa in the area. I have to disagree, the salsa at La Piñata or even El Rancho Grande is way better. While the food was ok, and the prices ok, there was nothing here that stood out. Which is unfortunate as I live closer to Coco’s than either La Piñata or El Rancho Grande. There are just too many other choices that are better and only a few miles away. I’m writing this review about 2 weeks after going(forgot to finish my draft) and I can’t even recall what we had — that should tell you something it was just meh. YMMV, but there are better places out there.

The salsa was the best of the local Mexican restaurant’s around, prices are very reasonable, and the margaritas were delightful. The service was very friendly and incredibly accommodating. They made exceptions and substitutions happily. They made four very satisfied customers and future regulars!
