These guys have amazing inventory. However as a new Ham it’s tough to get any service in this place. If you don’t know what you’re talking about it’s really intimidating to come into this place and try and buy something. I’ve been in the store like seven times every time with an intention of buying a radio, but I never can get anybody to explain features to me in a way that I don’t feel like an idiot. It’s The arrogance of the good old boys club, use this place to buy that spare antenna maybe a connector but do your research on your own, and go buy online. Too bad, this place really could be used to introduce people to amateur radio, unfortunately it’s just like everythingif you’re not in the club, you’re out in the cold. It’s always depressing to leave this place, I always go with the intention of buying a brand-​new shiny radio, but I leave dejected because I end up just walking out with a book or a magazine and that’s all.

Bought a starter radio there. I received great service even though i was buying a less expensive product. I so recommend R&L.
