Unfortunately I will not be able to support Goebbert’s until they stop exploiting animals at their events. The death of the baby bear this year was the final straw for me.

We went here several years ago and will never return. They have an exotic animal exhibit where the animals are not housed in ideal conditions. It’s cold and cramped, and all of the animals look sad and unhappy. I’ll never get the picture of shivering monkeys out of my head. It’s mind blowing that their abuse of animals hasn’t been investigated or punished. We don’t need to pay to see exploited animals to have our pumpkin fun. There are lots of other fun and less expensive options.

You’re a pumpkin patch, not a zoo. Do away with the exotic animals in poor living conditions. Disgusting.

Went here for the first time after going to the other location for many years since childhood. Overall this place isn’t bad if not slightly overpriced and not as memorable as the other location. Come with cash instead of plastic and be prepared to pay for other attractions once inside.

Started coming to So. Barrington location in about 1985 and our annual Fall visit was a tradition for the next 20+ years. It was an event we all treasured, even as my 3 kids became teens/young adults. We returned on Sunday with kids and Grandson. After 30 minutes we turned around and left. The petting zoo, which was always a favorite(and free) now charged $ 12/person. I’m glad we left because if I had seen exotic animals displayed I would’ve been more enraged. $ 15 to enter the café? Each event cost an outrageous amount. It was a huge disappointment and waste of a beautiful day.

My wife and I came to meet up with our son, daughter in law, and granddaughters. Picture perfect fall afternoon on Sunday. No traffic control and left to wander down isle upon isle of cars in large field.(Parking is free!). We got to the entrance after walking ¼ mile from where we finally found a place to park. They charge $ 15 ea for admission just to get in to the café to get a cup of coffee and a apple cider donut. I asked a staff member if there was a way to enter café to get coffee without paying the $ 15 admission and was told no. I bought $ 50 of stuff in their outer store while waiting for the kids. I bought dozen apple cider donuts for $ 7.50 and they were good although I think they are exactly like the ones we bought at Meijer’s. Kuiper’s apple orchard is a much better value and you don’t have to pay to go to their restaurant

Terrible that they charge 15.00 to get in as a adult with no kids. We couldn’t buy a cup of coffee without paying them the 15.00 each admission. Staff is very rude.. You would think they were protecting the president from the tone of voice they were using on people Shame on them.

Fun way to spend few hours on a nice fall day! Parking is free and easily accessible. $ 12 admission covers 15 activities including pig races, wagon rides, a pumpkin eating dinosaur, exotic animal petting zoo and the ability to feed giraffes! They also have tons of pumpkins, a nice selection of mums/other fall plants as well as crafts and other country store type goods for purchase. Now I don’t have kids so I found that I got a lot for my money. The food here is a little expensive, so I could see why some may think this place is a little overpriced. My one qualm is that they do not have any of the staff monitoring the animals and I was pretty disgusted at the people who throw carrots in the animals faces for not paying attention to them. If you cannot teach your children respect please leave them home in a cage where they belong haha! Will definitely be coming back here again soon!

Our most fun Fall tradition! We love all the little attractions that are included… Mini train ride, big slide, a mini ZOO(where we saw more than at Brookfield!), giant jumping bubble, and tons of kid play areas! We LOVE taking the tracker out in the field and picking our own pumpkins right of their vines! The food and admission are little pricey, but worth it! It is also very clean and SO well maintained!

I love Goebbert’s even though it seems their popularity is starting to outmatch their available space for guests! I’ve gone here year after year and this year was by far the most packed(and most expensive) of all. The lines were long, especially for food and the train ride, but overall I’m very glad we went. They’ve added a few new things but the slide was definitely my favorite new addition. It just doesn’t feel like Halloween unless we take our wagon ride to pick our pumpkins out of the patch right off the vine. Make sure to get their sugared apple cinnamon donuts because they are seriously amazing! Final Verdict: If you’ve never been it’s definitely worth a visit. The Hampshire location is superior in my book and it’s great for kids and adults alike!

What do they have? — different animals to see and feed — pig races — camel, pony and train rides — slides for kids and two big slides for adults — jumper — paint ball — market Omg I can go on. Had an awesome time w my sister n family. They always try and change it up and make it interesting.
