This is the first time I have had to go into a mall to visit a Big 5. The customer service folks are sparse, less than helpful. It is cave crawling season I needed another pair of disposable hiking boots (they get ruined quickly in caves). Alas, the quality has taken flight to the south. Need to find an REI or Sport’s Authority.

So, I went in there again today to pick up some soccer stuff for my daughter. Not because I wanted to, but because, where else am I going to get shin guards?
After my last experience there it was not my idea of a good time.
I will admit, this time around they did a lot better, the girl helping me at the register was friendly and good natured. And, imagine my surprise when someone passing by actually asked if I needed help finding anything.
So, While I’m not ready to give them five stars or anything, this visit has earned them one more star than they had before.

When you can go in a store in the USA and they sell Mexican soccer jerseys you have problems. I understand that California was once Mexico but that is been over 200 something years. The prices are good and they do go out of their way to help you out but this business needs to realize your in the USA.
