I buy for resale and I feel like the main lady has always acted snotty about it. Just never friendly and welcoming and happy. Resting bi&$h face. I’ve come here for years but whatever, I just ignore her. Selection is ok. Wonder what her problem is, I’ve asked some locals and they agree, so awkward!

LOVETHISPLACE! Lots of cool treasures to sift through. Bought a few purses and a vintage Levi’s western button up. Reasonable prices and the staff is really friendly. Check out the rest of the town, too…

I love shopping for a good cause! This store rocks. Kings Christian School Thrift Store supports Kings Christian School in Lemoore, which teaches and raises our community in a Christ centered education. Not only is the school awesome, this store is awesome too! Good prices, good finds, and during certain times of the year you can even buy hand crafted items that one of the employees makes. Go shop with a purpose!

I don’t know why everyone is so down on this place. OK, yes, some of their stuff is a bit overpriced. I saw a used turkey roaster there for 40 when you can get a brand new one at Walmart for thirty. But sometimes you can get a good deal there. One thing I like about thrift stores in general is that you can get things there you wouldn’t find other places. I got a bunch of pretty cool shirts there for under five bucks. So its not all bad.

This place is awful. They have the same run run-of-the-mill selection as any other thrift store but everything is priced about 10 times higher than other thrift stores. For example I went in there looking for old computer speakers which should sell for about five bucks or so. I saw a small pair of very basic computer speakers and they had them priced for $ 45. If you notice when you go in there the employees are sitting at a computer looking up donated merchandise on eBay to figure out how much to sell it for. Come on people. You are getting donated items and you’re running your store like it’s an antique store. You are a thrift store! Additionally all the employees are incredibly rude and never tend to the customers. I’ve been there many times and I don’t think anyone has ever greeted me said hello or spoken to me while at the register. Some ladies are constantly yelling at other employees or even at the customers throughout the entire store. The younger employees that are on the floor organizing and putting stuff away totally just run around you, in front of you and sometimes even into you don’t even bother to say excuse me or sorry. And when I say younger I mean they’re in their 20s so they should know their manners. I understand that thrift stores are becoming more and more trendy but that does not mean that they need to bank off of it by profiting on donated merchandise when they’re working for a Christian organization. The other local thrift store on 11th Ave. in the big castle is a far superior thrift store with much better prices. The last time I went to this store will be the last time I’ll ever go. People shop at thrift stores to save money not to try to compete with prices on eBay.

No, no, no! Where to begin… I have visited this thrift store for a few years now, not as often probably as others, given I live in Fresno. First off, this place is a mess. There are huge black garbage bags full of donations(?) blocking isles and display cases. I had to literally climb over a few bags just to look into their overpriced game console display(read on). I understand you want to get some value out of your items, for your cause, but please remember that you are a THRIFTSTORE. The different SNES and Sega games were overpriced for thrift store standards, priced on eBay value, and appeared that they’ve been collecting dust there for awhile. The gaming consoles were so overpriced, you probably could afford a brand new up to date console at the same rate they’re charging. Though it makes sense because we continuously heard the staff talking about eBay prices on inventory… While the gentlemen who helped me was very friendly, I can’t say the same for them all. There was one women behind the register who was extremely rude to customers and staff, it was ridiculous. Worst of all, she echoed through the isles of garbage bags and sparse clothing selection. Men’s clothing was extremely overpriced, especially since most of it was stained, ripped, and reeked of urine. Can’t imagine we’ll be stopping in Hanford for thrifting for awhile… Though I will stick with the Lemoore Kings Christian School Thrift Store :)

I came in today to donate a ton of my books which I’ve finished reading. Upon entering, no one really acknowledged me holding large plastic bags. When someone finally did notice me, they told me to set them on the ground — they didn’t even check my bags for the value I brought in. I brought this up to which she replied, «Oh yeah, the receipt is right there.» pointing towards a small flyer holder which __I__had to fill out. When I asked her if she was going to check the value she said to put in however much I thought it was worth and then walked back to what she was doing… ok…I just thought that was a bit odd because anyone can put in a fake amount. All that was on the slip that was official was their stamp. 2 stars only because I got to donate my books but really unattentive service.
