Food is pretty decent and many choices. However, need to revise their online menu at flux. Prices never accurate. Always charge you more when you pick up, which is not acceptable. edit: The owner replied, telling me it’s flux’s fault. Well, it’s your business after all. Just remember guys the prices online are not accurate. Also lunch portion not available at weekends(they didn’t tell you on flux either so I had to change to dinner portion)

Excellent take out Thai. Have to go to Hanover about 4 times a year for business and am learning the local favorites. This place is snuggle hidden behind a building and underground. The staff was very hospitable and the food great bi had the traditional Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Both excellent. I also had the Thai iced tea which was excellent. Overall, a great place to grab a bite dine in or take out

The location and ambiance is a little less than I would have liked, but the food is great and the service is even better.

Great Thai food in Hanover. I have been here on several occasions and TukTuk is always excellent: curries, salads and soups are all fresh and delicious. No comparison to the other Thai restaurants in Hanover– both mediocre. I wish it weren’t downstairs in the basement — it would be nice to enjoy the Hanover ambiance, but the food makes it all worth it. And, if you prefer spicy food, just say so. If you like heat, Thai hot is really excellent.

I’ve never heard such a friendly voice answering the phone at a restaurant. Delivery was fast, and the food was delicious. He accidentally left the soda behind, and when we asked about it, he actually drove all the way back to the restaurant and then back to us just to make up for the missing soda. Amazing service and great food.

I judge a Thai restaurant on how good their Spicy Basil dish is. This establishment had the best spicy basil I’ve ever had. Intensely flavorful and completely enjoyable. Warning: their food is very spicy, even for Thai restaurant standards. Ask for non-heat if you’re not into it.

YUM! We really enjoyed our meal here — so glad we found it(based on Unilocal reviews). It is hidden a bit, with the entrance just off of Main Street. The three of us had Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, Drunken noodles and Pad Prik Khing. I would definitely order all of them again.

This place is absolutely wonderful, great décor, amazing authentic thai food from a family with a wonderful story. We came here traveling by from Manhatten. We would definitely make this a future pit stop again.

If you want delicious, authentic Thai food this is the place to go!!! I was traveling with three friends from NY to Vermont and we went out of be way to check out this spot for dinner because it had such good reviews. We were so happy we did because the food was on point and the service was great! If I lived in the area I would be there at least once a week.

I really want to give this place 4 starts, but I can’t because honestly while I have been there twice and I enjoy the food, the customer service leaves ALOT to be desired, and that’s putting it nicely. Firstly, PLEASE! PLEASE! stop SPRAYINGWINDEX and cleaning tables inches behind people that are eating food, windex is toxic and no one wants to smell that while trying to enjoy your food. Not only that, but if you trigger someone’s asthma and they sue you, there goes your business! Try a cleaning wipes instead. Secondly, don’t rush your customers, let them enjoy their company and the ambiance. Yes, you want your customer to get the food fast, but the rule in the restaurant business is don’t bring out the main course until 15 mins after serving the apps, even then wait! if they still look like they are eating. STOPHARASSINGPEOPLETOFINISHEATING… that’s RUDE! we felt so much pressure to hurry up and eat that we wondering why we even came in, and the place was practically empty. As for the food, its reasonably priced standard thai food, which is great, if you want it spicy they will make it spicy, and the portions are large, so you would even share a couple of plates between friends. I have had the tofu fried rice and the drunken noodles both very good. But again its the poor service that really upsets me about this place.

The food is good but the parking is horrendous. Had to park illegally in order to pick up my takeout, this situation would make me think twice before returning.

TL;DR: much better service than other Thai spots in town; quality of noodles and fried rices, as well as overall prices, are great, atmosphere and décor also better than Kata or Thai Orchid Food: non-vegetarian friends love the crispy chicken pad Thai, the beef or chicken pad prik khing, crab fried rice or shrimp pad Thai. Solid vegetarian options are tofu basil fried rice(or any of their fried rices, to be honest), drunken noodles, and cashew delight. The tofu curries are just ok — nothing special. Tofu pad Thai is a bit too sweet and the tofu pad see ew as well. Fried tofu appetizers are also meh. Their Thai iced tea is very tasty(and not overly sugary like Kata Thai) Service: friendly and speedy — usually get our food 15 minutes after ordering. Atmosphere: they’ve totally redone the three guys basement, and unlike Kata’s weird club basement/blue light situation, Tuk Tuk feels homey, comfortable and pretty private despite the tables being close to one another.

Happy to visit Tuck Tuck again a few weeks ago. We had a delightful evening — we shared several entrees for the table. Lots of great veggie options. Loved the Thai beer. Excellent service and we were happy to see the owner — who is charming!

I eat at Tuk Tuks atleast 4 or even 5 times a week and I’ve never once had a issue with anything. The food is always amazing, the waitstaff is always on point. And honestly I’ve never been somewhere where the Owner is doing just as much or even more then anyone else. I will continue to eat here 4 or 5 times a week. Great job guys!!!

Excellent Authentic food, Accommodating servers, Cool decoration but awkward setting! PLACE: We were looking for Thai in the the area and found this one and I say we hit the gold mine. First of all, its hard to find because it is in the alley being the coffee shop. The restaurant is in the basement but its painted and decorated nicely however it still gave me warehouse kind of feeling. SERVICE: We(2 people) were greeted at the walk in and were seated in the tiny table but knowing the amount of food we were planning on ordering, we asked for the bigger table and the server accommodated our request at once. she was very friendly and agreeable. The owner also walk and work among with waiters and she was super friendly and took our feedback and chatted with little bit. It felt like we were sitting at home. Relaxing! FOOD: we ordered«Tom Yum» soup, chicken wanton for starters and asked them to be Thai spicy. Oh My! it was actually spicy for me and I can eat thai chilli on its own. I was so delighted to finally get something to my spice level and flavors were out of the world. All the veggies were fresh and crunchy and broth was light, fragrant and flavorful. Knowing the spice level, we ask for medium spicy for rest of our order. We had Penang curry which was very creamy and rich in coconut and all the vegetables used were fresh and crunchy. The drunken noodles were perfect, not too oily like other places I have tried at and full of yummy sauces and fresh crunchy veggies. The Green curry had unique flavor which is hard to describe but yummy nonetheless. The Thai is perfect, not too sweet yet full on taste. Just how I like it! I would highly recommend checking this place out and dive in the goodness of thai food!

What a fantastic surprise to find excellent Thai food in in the boonies. Tom Yum soup(with noodles and shrimp) is fantastic. We shared a bowl amongst three which is also a great deal. It is nicely spiced. My main course, Penang Curry, which I ordered Thai spicy came out American mild. The taste was still good. I just had more Tom Yum soup for my spice fix. You won’t find this place by chance at is in a back alley cavernous basement. But it is so worth it to find. Thank you Upper Valley Unilocalers.

Tuk Tuk is A-OK. We came for lunch on a weekday and were quickly seated. I’m impressed at how they have transformed the space from the previous tenant(although I would recommend some hooks in the ladies room!). Our server was friendly and polite. It did take a while for the food to come out. Overall, I just wish there had been more flavor. We ordered some spring rolls that were prepared nicely but tasted kind of boring – wouldn’t get those again. We ordered two entrees(portion size was great for lunch!). We weren’t asked about spicy-ness preferences. The kao pad had snow peas, carrots, broccoli, onion, and green beans. Most of the veggies looked and tasted fresh. The dish was pretty oily. Even with my very American palate, I needed more spice. We also tried a cashew dish that was much more flavorful, but it still needed more spice. The nuts and veggies were crunchy and delicious. The sauce was pretty perfect – not overly sweet like some nut dishes are. It came with the perfect amount of white rice. I think Tuk Tuk is a solid choice. There isn’t a lot of great ethnic food in the area, but I would definitely come back here.

Everyone and their mother are so into this place. To be honest, it just tastes like normal Thai food… if you gave me a blind test between Thai Orchid and Tuk Tuk, I’m not sure I could tell the difference, and even though everyone is raving about it, I’m honestly not convinced that anyone would be able to either. This is located where the Three Guys was. It’s in a basement which is fine but kind of sucks because all cell reception is basically cut out — so don’t expect to be receiving or sending any messages while you’re at this dinner. My friend and I came one day around 5pm which was pretty early, but by the time we left around 6ish the place was packed. So it definitely gets some pretty good dinner action. I get the chicken pad see ew which is the most basic thing you can get. It tastes just like fried rice noodles… it’s simple, safe, and really can’t go wrong. They actually serve the food pretty quickly when no one is there, so that’s nice. My biggest quip about this place is that service is awful. Once they get busy, they never hire enough waiters and it becomes miserable as a patron to have to flag down a waiter or basically just walk up to the counter to grab your check and pay. My friend and I have also ordered delivery from them before and they forgot to give us some of our dishes… btw they don’t deliver, you can only call in and take out which seems like another hole in their outstanding business model if they won’t deliver to places in Dartmouth. tldr; okay Thai food, taste like Thai Orchid tbh

The short: highly recommended, great food, excellent service. Best food in the area. Tuk Tuk is without a doubt the best food in the Upper Valley. If you have not gone, stop reading and go NOW, you will not be disappointed. After finding out they opened my friends and I went no less then four times in two weeks. Located where Three Guys Basement used to be, is it deliciousness. We have enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Which includes: Thai iced tea — so good! Som tom salad(papaya) — great appetizer Pad thai — a classic goody Pad kee mao(Drunken noodle) — all of the yums Masamun curry — delicous Yellow curry — also delicious Kad pad pineapple — «I wish this didn’t have to end» –friend eating her meal and seeing she was nearly finished Garlic and pepper stir fry — yums And of course you must end your meal with mango sticky rice — mangoes are always perfectly ripe The staff is friendly and aiming to please. They work hard and welcome any recommendations for improvement because they truly want you to have the best meal! It can get busy at times but the food is so good so don’t let that deter you. The one time we had to wait we were given apologies and a complimentary appetizer. Tip: check in before you go inside, being in a basement yields poor service.

Get ready for the best spring rolls ever! I’ve tried the garlic and pepper chicken and pad thai and they were both delicious. Service is quick and excellent, perfect for when you are in a rush! Hands down the best thai restaurant in the Upper Valley. The owner is a sweetheart, she personally checks on you to make sure you are happy with your order and service. I’d highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food. Since it’s in the basement and tables are close to each other, I don’t recommend if you want some privacy because you can kind of hear other tables. That’s all!
