Swung in for a quick lunch the other day. The mark of great grill is the courage to offer up a good Patty Melt and the will to do it right. They nailed it for both.
Oh, and the other meals were good too!

I live in Hansville and really really want to give the Hansgrill more stars, but it’s almost ridiculous trying to get food here. Whether it’s packed, or their are just a couple other people eating, the service is just terrible. Don’t get me wrong, everyone is very nice, but that’s only if they notice you sitting awkwardly trying to make eye contact. If you are lucky enough to get served food, I guarantee it’ll be really good, but just be prepared for a loooonnnnnggg wait. On several occasions my family and I have just gotten up and left, and I’ve seen other hungry people do the same. Recommendations: Burgers and French dip

Great service and people, very good food, home made desserts. One of the best lunches I have had on the Kitsap Peninsula. Try the Chicken sandwich.

Yum! Stopped after walking the beach for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Service was great. Husband had Italian Chop Chop Salad and I had Caesar Chop Chop. Delish! Definitely will return. Want to try the French Dip sliders! What a great idea for an appetizer!

This little place has great food and awesome service. I ate here two times and both times the food was great. The baked chicken sandwich with bacon, cheese and jalapeño bread is the best.
Their brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream is one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. The brownie is served warm under ice whipped cream, chocolate sauce and ice cream.
They are located close to Point No Point beach.

I had one of the best salads I have ever eaten. It was the Caesar chicken chop-​chop. I love the fact that everything was chopped small even the croutons. The ingredients are not for your normal Caesar Salad along with the chicken was loads of fresh cooked bacon, tomatoes plus a very good dressing. All of this was very filling. I am so glad I came to this little place that served such a delicious meal our server was friendly and attentive.

One of the best burgers around and made to order. I’ve had other sandwiches there before and found them to be very tasty. Excellent value.
On a nice day place your to-​go order at the store counter then take it out to enjoy all there is to like about Puget Sound — scenic, ships and small boats, lots of birds, even the occasional bald eagle or marine life. Great beach on which to take an after-​meal walk.

At the urging of a friend who wanted to try Hansgrill for himself I went (again) against my better judgement. The inattentive blonde waitress was on duty again and the service was even WORSE than the first time! I was so angry I’d been duped into going again but liked the fact my guest could see I wasn’t kidding about this waitress. A young guy (other than the cook) did try and attend to guest and he should have been working the floor as he had a nice pleasant personality… the waitress is a zombie! Sad thing, as I stated before, is that the food is REALLY good and VERY reasonable, thus my additional star.

This is located in the back of the Hansville Grocery, so a lot of people aren’t even aware it exists. It’s small, but the food is excellent, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. The menu is surprisingly big for such a hole in the wall. The sassy young waitress that served us was very entertaining and did a fantastic job. Definitely check it out. It’s even worth going out of your way.

They have a good breakfast and lunch menu with a nice little patio from where you can see the water. My wife and I both had burgers and they were good! Very reasonably priced, too.
