Gonzalo G Garreton, M.D.

Dr. Garreton is an amazing doctor. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. I had to have an emergency c-​section and he was the doctor that figured that out and brought my beautiful daughter into the world safely. I am now pregnant with my second child and feel extremely well supported and cared for by Dr. Garreton. He is extremely knowledgeable, discusses all options with you, and always shows how much he genuinely cares about you. An amazing doctor that I am happy to have in my life.

I had an emergency csection in Mid march 2012 and was not happy with Dr Garreton’s bed side manners. He was kind of dry and when I asked what other options I had, he said «none, just a csection». I was very scared since my epidural had only worked on half of my body and feared the same would happen during the c-​section. I needed doctor Garreton to be more empathetic and give me comfort that the surgury would be ok. I had been in labor for over 36 hours and it was not my birthplan. I really needed the doctor to comfort me and make me feel that I was in good hands.
Nonetheless, I have had a fairly painfree recovery from the c-​section and I am thankful to Dr Garreton for that. I just want to remind him that although I appreciate his talent as a surgeon, that connecting with your pateint and providing them with words of comfort is just as important.

I couldn’t be happier with this doc. I’ll go out of my way to continue seeing him.
