Best brunch in the area! Menu is always featuring out of this world specials. The one day I had a crab omelette with avocado… amazing. So much more… Eggs Benedict with filet and poached egg… marvelous. Mouthwatering buttermilk pancakes typical served with fresh fruit on top. Their drinks are good too. People say it is pricy which it is but I look at it compared $$-wise to going out for dinner… Still cheaper. Oh yeah if open ask to sit at the Rubicon bar it’s beautiful.

Was in town and wanted to try something new so again Unilocal gave places close to my hotel. I really enjoyed the outdoor dinning experience with a view of the capital building. Glad I went early on a Friday evening and was able to get good seating and fast service. While I was eating a couple near by asked to speak to one of the owners and she came out to answer there questions. I didn’t have time to order appetizers(which looked great at at the other tables) I was offered olives and bread while I was waiting for my meal. The bread was not the best, it didn’t taste like it was made fresh on the premises, however the olives and crushed red pepper flakes were very good. I ordered the fish stew, and it was excellent. I look forward to going back again.

We were really looking forward to this restaurant after reviewing Unilocal. However, while the food was great, the service was really unprofessional. Otherwise, it would have been an easy 5 stars. After sitting down, we were not offered any drink menu, yet being asked to order drinks. With no idea what is available, we all ordered water. After 5 — 8 minutes, a waitress realize our waiter has not yet served us water, she quickly bring over 5 glasses. Unfortunately, my glass was flipped over on my table towards me, so the entire glass of ice water land on my pants. She immediately apologize and start getting all the towels she can find. While all this is happening, our waiter walked by, not providing any help, and said, «at least it’s just water.» Then walked away. Just to be clear, I think the waitress is totally fine, things happen, and she did everything she could to fix it. The waiter was unbelievably unprofessional. He did not offer any apology, yet make a joke at the situation. It would have been better if he said nothing. Of course, he never checked in about it throughout the entire course of meal. If you ever dine in his restaurant during lunch on a Friday, best of luck a good server. Otherwise, it may just ruin your day.

A casual but classy little restaurant right next to the Harrisburg capital building. We were road tripping across PA and wanted to stop for lunch. The lunch menu was moderately priced with an enticing selection of normal lunch foods turned up a notch. Instead of burgers, they offered a filet mignon sandwich that i ordered. It was excellent! Beef was well seasoned and just perfectly pink and moist– no need for ketchup or any sauces. It was layered with sweet onion rings, thick generous cuts of peppered bacon, and Gorgonzola cheese that gave it a little bit of a kick. Fries were crispy and delicious. I would have given 5 stars but the waitress spilled water all over my friend’s lap and seemed just mildly apologetic while the other waiter even made a joke about it which I thought was pretty rude. It also happened to be really cold outside and he had to walk back to the car in wet pants. So good food but they need more professional staff.

I can only speak about their brunch as my boyfriend and I tend to come here often for brunch. They knock it out of the park every single time. The services is exceptional. The menu is always exciting and refreshing. We almost always order one of the specials they tell us about the day of. I have had varies omelets and pancakes here and they have surely left a lasting impression on me.

We went here with a group of nine girls for a bachelorette party dinner. The service was great. Our server even asked us if we would like our checks split, which was so nice when dealing with a group. It was quiet enough for everyone to talk together instead of small side conversations. I loved that we had the option of the tapas upstairs and the main menu from Mangia Qui. We ordered off of both and loved everything we ordered. The drinks were delicious. I had the habanero infused tequila drink. I think it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. I would definitely go back again with a big or a small group. It was a great start to our night out in Harrisburg.

I can’t believe the last review for Mangia Qui was 11⁄14! This place is truly World Class. We enjoy great restaurants when we travel, and we are always delighted to come«home» to Qui’s. The current cocktail list is WONDERFUL, the wine list is intriguing, and the menu is fantastic! We had the veal chops tonight– perfect! Try them for Sunday brunch too. You will not be disappointed!

Truly exceptional gourmet restaurant in Harrisburg. Beautiful interior. I love their martinis and great wine list. I have relished their steaks, filets especially, seafood, trout, and duck. Changing glorious menu. Love to go when I have meetings in Harrisburg. My foodie friends all agree this is our top pick in that area.

Upstairs is the tapas bar which my girlfriend and I visited. The drinks are very creative like the martini with olive infused Tito’s. Food was good with lot’s of options to choose from. Service was good as well with no complaints there. We have been twice now but if not for the live music on Friday’s i’m not sure it was great enough to come back again since the menu didn’t change at a tapas bar in about 4 months.

I wonder why have I not eaten at this restaurant before! Here’s what we tried: 1) Peperoncini — excellent. Mixed peppers — some were really hot. 2) Taco 47 — excellent. 3) Patatas Bravas — just ok. They were not spicy and I did not find any flavor in the sauce. 4) Gambas al Ajillo — good. 5) Pollo Frito — excellent I also tried Bollywood from the cocktail menu and found it perfect. They do not cut any slack in the alcohol department. I don’t remember names of one of the desserts we tried. It was like a chocolate cookie/cake with some cream. The other was a Tiramisu. I liked both of them. Service was excellent and quick. They have outside seating.

Exquisite. This word sums up each and every experience I’ve had at this lovely establishment. The food is always on point. Whether rich and savory, light and refreshing, the dishes never disappoint. The presentation is attractive and the prices are just for the food and experience. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed with a classy flair.
Music plays in the background at the perfect level while you dine. It’s not too noisy of an atmosphere, but it is buzzing with great energy and chatter. This is a choice spot for a romantic dinner for two or a business lunch or a girls night out! The temperature is comfortable and compliments the dining experience and is welcoming from any outside weather. Mangia Qui is upscale Italian done right. I highly recommend this gem of a place.

Mangia Qui is an experience. There is such an incredibly positive and professional atmosphere matched by food that is just about perfect every time. The specials I’ve tried have always been memorable. Their pasta dishes are perfection. The tomatoes, the mushrooms, the cheeses, the oils… everything is paired and combined so tastefully. Absolute satisfaction from start to finish. Every. Single. Time. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Harrisburg and one of my all time favorites.

Ate here Friday night in the upstairs area, which has a different menu and kitchen. They do offer the menu from downstairs(which looked great), but I chose three tapas: I started with the sautéed greens. My favorite dish. It was a large portion and tasted great. Next I had braised octopus. A small portion, served over garbonzo beans. The beans were great. The octopus was just average. Next I had the sautéed calamari. It was supposed to have some kick to it but it was not spicy at all. It was, however, a nice sized dish with very good flavor. Service was great. I look forward to returning to try the downstairs menu, along with additional tapa upstairs. A good Harrisburg find!
