Great food, generous servings, fair prices and solid service. I like that the menu has Chinese and Japanese options.

I order lunch for our office from here once in a while and generally have fresh sushi. We usually order the peppered tuna wraps, avocado salad, pineapple rice, the philly roll, tuna roll, and the california. All are made fresh and tastes delicious. They say about 45 minutes however they’re generally here within 30 minutes or less. Will continue to order from here.

This is my local go to for sushi and beef soup noodles. Their service has always been very good. They also deliver in the area fairly quickly. I enjoy their spicy tuna roll, eel avocado roll, dragon roll, shrimp tempura roll. Their shrimp rolls and soups are also very good. I’ve had the wonton soup and the egg drop soup. The owner is very pleasant and always gets us seated. Great to support a local business.

Been going here for a few years. Good, consistent, clean. We’re fans of the Chinatown house special fried rice(not greasy like other places}, mongolian beef, chicken corn soup, the tofu and mixed veggies. Really you ought to ask for the«homes style» menu… it’s less the Americanized Chinese food style… and closer to real Chinese food. The standard fair of Chicken and Broccoli, etc… it’s all good. As for delivery… these guys get busy… and I haven’t read the reviews… but don’t expect them to be right there if they’ve got loads going out… depends on where you are in the queue. As for the Sushi — not my favorite but a good place to compromise with your loved one when you’re both pining over different flavors. Try the Sushi cake… or the others on the appetizer section. It’s all good and filling! Owners, staff… hardworking people.

The food is poor quality and the person who answers the phone knows absolutely nothing about the dishes, ingredients, or options. I had to ask her to find out the information which made placing the order take longer to the point where if she didn’t know something I just said forget it. The noodles are dry and beef sticks also known as beef teriyaki at other locations r the worst part of the cow. There is a long muscular tendon that goes down the middle of the beef teriyaki making it inedible. They literally gave me one fifth of the smallest cup available for the sauce for the soggiest, gummiest, smallest, tasteless scallion pancakes I have ever spit out. I would give it to 0 Stars. It is not worth the money.

Nice clean place for sushi! I loved the service and the cleanliness. Very elegant looking place. The sushi was great, i would definitely go back to try different ones. Prices are good, strongly recommend this place. It’s one of the few restaurants that are good in Harrison.

This place is one of the best Chinese places around. The environment is warming and welcoming and the food is amazing. They have items on the menu like jellyfish. They offer Chinese and Japanese. If you like sushi I highly recommend the sushi pizza!

I use to come here often, but more often I would order for delivery. For a long time I was ordering sushi from here ATLEAST once a week but now I am never ordering from here again. Out of the blue they told me their is a $ 15 minimum for delivery. My orders are always between $ 10 – 13 plus tip but apparently my money isn’t good enough anymore. The owner was very unsympathetic and just blatantly said no when asked if they could still deliver my $ 10 order. For a long time I’ve heard horror stories about this establishment. Mostly pertaining tip conflicts. They once ran outside, after my friends, to yell at them for not tipping enough. Mind you they go their all the time(or went) and always tipped 15% or more. This however was the final straw. The owners of this restaurant are greedy and terrible business owners. They do not value their customers and show no signs of loyalty. There are many other locations that far surpass this establishment in terms of quality, price and customer service. Avoid this place like you would a skunk.

Great food, great atmosphere… great service!!! The woman(owner) usually answers the phone and is behind the counter when you get there. She is very nice even when the place is very busy. One cold and rainy day, she offered me free hot green tea while I waited for my take out. So nice of her ! I have been going here for about 4 years and pass up several Chinese spots along the way to get there. Place is always crowded which is a good sign. I’ve dined in a few times but mainly order take out. Sushi is good also… and there are a lot of options!

I was in town for work and a group of us had this delivered to our hotel. We all loved what we ordered. Delivery took about 4 minutes which isn’t bad and was completely worth the wait. We ordered edamame, a Harrison sushi roll, chicken Lo mein, fried rice, hot and sour soup and shrimp spring rolls. The three of us all had nothing but good things to say about our food. Everything was fresh and warm and so delicious. Definitely would recommend and will return when we are back in town.

I used to be very fond of this place. This was my go-to Chinese restaurant whenever I was at work in downtown Newark. Usually, I’d turn a blind eye when it came to the prices but the quality was worth it. Well, that all changed this afternoon when I ordered with my buddy. The pricing for my order was correct but he was overcharged. He got the Sesame Chicken, in which the PDF menu said the price was $ 10.95. The online menu said $ 11.95. If you’re going to change the prices, update them everywhere. Here’s what made me nuts… The total. Sesame Chicken $ 11.95 Beef with Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice and soup lunch $ 7.95 Chicken Lo Mein, Shrimp Fried Rice and soup lunch $ 7.95 Paradise Sushi Roll $ 12.95(forgot to mention how it wasn’t as good as I remembered) Can you believe that after tax and tip, it came out to $ 50!!! That’s too much money for two people’s lunch. «Not gon’ be able to do it!» — Double XX Posse «Not gon’ do it…» — Dana Carvey as George H.W. Bush It’s been great, Chinatown. Fare thee well.

We’ve ordered from here twice and both times we loved the food! Can’t believe such delicious takeout exists at such reasonable prices! Highly recommend trying the Chinatown chicken. I couldn’t tell you what it’s made of and where it originated from — but seriously so damn good! Also they have sushi and something called a sushi pizza. Try it. You’ll like it.

The Chinese food served here was not at all Americanized, liked it a lot. Strongly suggest the duck and spicy fish. It was a bit slow though. They did not give us the fortune cookie!

Ordered the chicken and scallop teriyaki bento box lunch special. It was pretty good comes with miso soup. My only complaint is it only comes with 2 scallops so that made me a little sad. I have been coming here on and off for years and the sushi has to be the best to get. Miso soup is fresh and delicious too.

I have to say I’m disappointed in Chinatown now because I used to come here often and really, really liked it. I don’t come for the Chinese I come for the sushi so I cannot speak on that but after yesterda, y I’ll probably only visit as a last resort if I have to. The dirty seaweed salad wasn’t bad, although I wasn’t a fan of them putting crunch on it because not only did it get mushy, but I believe it was a little old because it was stale, same as for the crunch on my rolls. And also it was just very, blah. Overall not their best day. I felt the sushi wasn’t as fresh as it should be and that was evident in the color as well. I also didn’t like that they’re the only restaurant ever who has given me a hard time when I asked for the spicy tuna in my rolls to NOT have spicy mayo. The alternative being to only put the siracha instead. They tried to say taking out the mayo and replacing it with just tuna would be giving me more fish and therefore would cost me more. Umm, ew? The quanitiy of fish should NOT change because it’s mixed with a sauce. Like how much are they putting in it?! No thanks. The scallion pancakes also were pretty good but still, I lack enthusiasm relaying that message. Probably the best thing I had that day though, still 2.5 to 3 stars for it ATBEST. The staff is kind, bathrooms clean, the location very convenient with the highway entrance RIGHT around the corner and a decent amount of street parking(meters only until 5), and the décor/ambiance very, okay. Bland. Nothing to write home about. If I try it again I’d try it for the Chinese food as per the reviews.

Let me start by saying that Chinese food is traditionally pretty greasy. Moving right along… I ordered the avocado salad. The ginger carrot dressing is very good. Avocado was ripe and delicious. My brother ordered the salmon and tuna sushis. He thought they were great. Unfortunately our entrees weren’t as outstanding. The eggplant with garlic sauce that my mom ordered came piping hot but super greasy. Eggplant is a very absorbent fruit. From the slippery lubed flesh to the squishy greasy center, this dish exercised all characteristics. Flavor was nice though. My brother ordered the diced chicken with hot peppers. Again, way too greasy. Though my brother expressed a heart condition magnified by intensely oily food, the«manager» explained that it was not fair to her to replace the meal with another. um.okay. I ordered the Singapore Mei Fun. It was okay. Flavor was also pretty good but it wasn’t hot. Overall, I like this place. I’ve been here several times and will continue to patronize. Today just wasn’t a winner with the entrees. Buyer beware when it comes to the entrees mentioned above.

The sushi was pretty decent, haven’t tried the Chinese food yet. All the rolls were fresh and prices are quite similar to the competitors. I do feel that their Kani Salad was a little overpriced, but was good and had a good spicy kick. I will definitely be heading back to try other special rolls they have.

I ordered 2 specialty rolls(dynamite and Latin lover) for delivery at 5:20pm. By 6pm, it still had not been delivered, so I called the restaurant. A man answered and muttered something in a heavy accent. I kept saying hello, but could only hear him and others in the restaurant talking. I guess he said for me to hold?! After a few minutes, he came back on the phone. I informed him that I was wondering where my order was and that it had already been 40 minutes. He asked for my address and then told me the driver had already left. When I asked how long ago, he said I don’t know, muttered something else, and then hung up. Thought that was rude! The delivery lady finally arrived at at 6:21pm. She was apologetic and explained that she had issues with the traffic and road blocks from the game at Red Bull stadium down the street. I still gave her a over 15% tip. I just ate the rolls and realized that they gave me a Dragon Roll instead of the Dynamite Roll that I ordered. Instead of spicy white fish I got fried shrimp tempura with avocado and eel. Ugh! The rolls were fine and they were a good size, but obviously annoyed that it took over an hour to get delivered and they got my order wrong! I took 3 stars away for the man on the phone, the time it took to deliver and having the order wrong.
