This is a dangerous place to have within walking distance of my apartment. Soon enough, the staff at Sub Station will know me by face as I plan to become a regular after stumbling upon this gem today. I was immediately impressed by it’s cleanliness & overall aesthetic. The owners mother happened to be having lunch there and we had a brief and endearing conversation about the vintage stove which currently served as a decorative piece but used to belong to her. Her kindness made me feel so welcomed and at home. But the true judge would have to be the food. I had the South Station panini w/fries which was incredible. And the price point was even better. I’ve also heard great things about the seafood soup, which they serve every Friday. Can’t wait to give a try.
