I have been going to Skin Center for many years now. Dr. Sozio and his staff are professional but also warm and caring. My 16 year old daughter had severe acne that was hurting her self esteem. We tried everything. When I went to Dr. Sozio he suggested the cool touch laser. After discussing all the pros and cons(it hurts a little) we decided to go ahead and give it a try. After 5 treatments and a little maintenance my daughter has flawless skin. Nothing could help except the Skin Center. They always made her feel beautiful even in the middle of these treatments. Amazing, kind people. I recommend Dr. Sozio and his staff 100%. I know other reviews said it was expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. Perfect skin. I highly recommend this place.

Skin Center is a great find. I’ve been going to see Dr Sozio for years and have sent many clients to him. They have all been happy and continue to send glowing reports of his professional staff and master technique. Recently Grace(his registered nurse) has started doing fillers, etc. I am equally thrilled with her work and recommend her highly. I am certain that you will be pleased with all their services.

This review is way overdue. I have been a client for over 3 years and can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Sozio and is staff. I suffered from Adult Acne and in just one treatment I saw a difference, I continued with the protocol which I completed over a over a year ago and I’am now on maintenance and could not be more pleased with the results. I could go on and on about what a top rate Center this is. If you need any type of skin care services don’t think twice this is the palce.

I’ve been going to this place for years now. Dr. Sozio and his staff are wonderful. They take special care to explain each procedure or recommendation. I had bad sun damage from tanning over the years and with their procedures, my skin is practically back to the way it used to be. I love this place; they are great! I would recommend a visit to see what they can do for you.

I never thought I would be someone who would consider getting Botox, but in the past year I have noticed changes in my face and no matter what I do I always look tired. After tons of research I decided to give it a try. I found skin Center through an online search and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by a pleasant staff who made me feel comfortable and not as nervous. About a week after my treatment I woke up and looked in the Mirror and actually look like I had a full nights rest. The wrinkles around my eyes which were what I was most concerned with had faded, I was extremely happy. I went for a check up with the nurse and she suggested just to drop more to make it perfect(this was included as part of the first treatment) I found it very thoughtful that they want to make sure their patients are completely happy with the results.

When I started going to Skin Center about 7 years ago for IPL(great for removing age spots and make skin look much clearer) I was 38. Dr. Sozio was really patient with my seemingly endless questions. The IPL esthetician, Grace, was great and the results were so noticeable. I’ve been doing IPL in the fall and winter ever since.(It’s better not to do it during the summer or if you’re going to be in the sun). Eventually my questions would include…“So, what else do I need?” Believe it or not he said, «nothing.» That’s right – he did not push unnecessary treatments on me. Fast forward a few years, when I asked and the answer was, «A little botox,» we did it and I felt really happy with the results – they made me feel younger but looked completely natural. You may find cheaper places, but personally my face is NOT where I want to bargain hunt. And Dr. Sozio has a very subtle approach. No «frozen face.» Recently I did Thermage and it was something I thought about for a long time. It is costly, although it lasts for years. I’m not going to lie, it’s a bit painful, but again the results were fantastic(and they will continue to improve for the next several months and then last for years). They have state-of-the-art equipment. Always the latest generation of everything. Again, The Skin Center is not inexpensive, although you get points and I have been able to redeem them for treatments. To me, if you’re looking to improve your appearance it’s worth a bit more. The staff is incredible. Professional. Friendly. Dr. Sozio is a pleasure. And I can’t recommend them enough.

I travel back and forth from the NY area to Orlando. I have to say my best experience from facials to Botox/fillers have been here at Skin Center. With a busy schedule, I find them accommodating and professional while receiving the best results for my problem areas

I love facials always have — they are a must when I go to any spa. I finally decided to go to a more specialized location for a facial. I can’t begin to tell you all what a difference it makes to go to expert. I saw such a difference in my skin and I am now realizing I need to do this more frequently not just for relaxation but for my skin health and maturity. The Skin Center was amazing — when I walked in it felt calm, relaxing and yet professional it is not a day spa so i was not sure what to expect. I was greeted right away and warmly before I was taken into the room for my facial. I am looking forward to my next visit especially with it being the summer. I am going to follow the advice I was given for taking better care of my skin. I am so happy I was referred to the skin center. I can’t say enough nice things about my experience.

Simply put, I’m incredibly happy with my experience at the Skin Center. I’ve had several appointments and am completely satisfied with the results. The office is quite comfortable and well-outfitted; the staff is so accommodating and welcoming; and the services are comprehensive and effective. I’m getting close to 40 years old and not happy about it — so I decided to see Dr. Sozio for botox and filler. I do not exaggerate when I tell you the day after my first appointment I had two people on two occasions tell me how young I look. From me, the Skin Center comes highly recommended. I’m a patient for life.

I explained to Dr. Sozio during the initial consultation my area of concern was around my mouth, i.e., nasal folds and marionette lines. He proceeded to give me what in retrospect was a cookie cutter consultation. I got sucked into 6 treatments of IPL, which of course does not address my areas of concern. I received the last treatment today and there are no visible results. I also had one syringe of radiesse which also left me with disappointing results, including some hardening which he said was most likely collagen. A couple of months ago I expressed my disappointment and he offered to give me a ‘discount’ on a filler and said he couldn’t do it for free because it costs him money to. buy the filler. Why is that my problem? If I order a medium rare steak and it’s well done, guess what? The restaurant will have to give me another one. I don’t think they would say ‘we have to charge you because we paid for the first one’. Fast forward to today and Dr. Sozio said he noticed a change in my skin so I asked if we could look at the pictures they took of my face prior to treatments and he said ‘they were taken without a flash and they don’t have a darkroom so they wouldn’t be accurate’ WHAT!!! When I expressed my dissatisfaction his answer was to get more filler. I had already paid a total of $ 2700 and I had explained early on my budget was $ 3000. The prices here are a bit higher than elsewhere so I thought I’d ‘get what I paid for’. My mistake. If I had followed his suggestions I probably would have seen results, but most likely it would have cost close to $ 5000. If he was n fact an experienced professional who cared about his patients satisfaction, he should know if a patients expectations are realistic based on their budget, and if not, let them know from the onset so they can make the informed decision to continue or not. I spent a lot of time, money, and a fair degree of discomfort with nothing to show for it. Dr. Sozio, if you read this, permit me to give you some unsolicited advice… take the time to listen to your patients. Ask them if they have a budget and pay attention to their answer. Ask them what areas they want to improve and focus on that. Don’t try to sell them a bunch of packages that will do little or no good.

I was very disappointed in the approach in caring for my acne prone skin. I have had mild acne since I was 13, I am now 45. At this point it is adult acne, a different beast. The approach by skin center was archaic and a rip-off. They pressure you to buy expensive packages – you can’t just try out the treatment. Dr. Sozio uses a cool laser for acne, which sounds cool but I have read it doesn’t work. Which would explain why I have never been offered this before. Kathy Field’s, developer of proactive, was my dermatologist when I was living in CA. I just moved to CT and my skin went bonkers with the change. The other incredibly archaic approach – my skin was doused in 100% alcohol with every visit. I mean who does that! Any skin care professional will tell you that alcohol is like poison to the skin. During the time I was being«treated» by skin center my skin was red, raw and peeling – not to mention broken out. I have about $ 1500 of unused packages and the center has not answered my emails. A completely disappointing rip-off!

If I could only go back in time and not go to this place. I received laser hair removal here, which went fine. Then, because I had just started to develop minor rosacea symptoms, I consulted with the dr about laser treatment. I stressed that I wanted to treat my rosacea conservatively and set up an appointment for IPL instead of laser to be less agressive. When I got the IPL, it was not performed by the doctor, and the girl used an «aggresive setting»(confirmed later by the doctor), and passed over my face twice. Any way, I had a terrible reaction that persisted for months, with total redness, swelling and inability to go out in the sun without my face burning. I had never had that happen before. When I went back, the original doctor saw the redness and referred me to his parner. When I saw his partner, he was rude, defensive and totally unhelpful. He suggested a get another treatment. Just a nightmare. Basically, my minor rosacea was accelerated based on a way too aggressive IPL treatment. I’ve never been the same since.
