Recently, my family was in the North Canton area visiting cousins before our cross country military move. I decided to get a military spouse tattoo with my military veteran spouse cousin. We decided on Artistic Expressions because of the great Unilocal reviews from other customers. We brought in photos of tattoos that inspired what we’d like to get. The gentleman who helped us with the designs did a great job advising us on size and placement. It has been a couple months since I got my USMC spouse tattoo, and I love it! I chose the area between my inner elbow and underarm for my tattoo. Some say this is a particularly rough area. Brian was patient, encouraging and the tattoo was finished before I felt like I couldn’t continue. I have gotten some great feedback on my tattoo. I love it. If I am in the area again, I would get a tattoo from Brian, no question.

Brian and his sidekick were exceptional hosts and delivered hands down my favorite tattoo experience to date. They didn’t settle for just any design and helped us change up our military spouse tattoos until they were awesome. We had a blast and will be back in June to get more exceptional work done. Thanks for a great experience.

My son got his first tattoo today and I have to say Artistic Expressions is a great place to go. Clean and professional experience all they way thru. The prices are great. I would have to recommend this place to anyone who wants a tattoo for the first time or even cover ups and adding to the art you already have. My family will definitely be back for more tattoos from Brian.

I got my very first tattoo from Brian Welsh at Artistic Expressions in August of 2011, on my best friend’s recommendation, and I am SO glad I did. I walked in with a dumbed down picture of angel wings that, according to Brian, looked like a Groucho Marx moustache, and he turned it into something so beautiful and unique and realistic that I was utterly speechless. Since then, he’s done a second one of my three tattoos(an Eye of Horus, with a cat’s eye instead of the traditional version, located on my thigh), and even though I’m moving soon, I only ever plan to go back to him — considering that I’m moving three hours away across the state line, that’s saying something, I think. The shop is clean, professional and friendly, his prices are reasonable(the wings with the Latin script I got on my back ended up being $ 130, including the Tattoo Goo I purchased, and the Eye of Horus was around $ 62, not including tax), he’s talented as hell, and he’s a consummate professional — you barely feel the prick of the needle when he starts tattooing. Plus? He’s got an awesome sense of humor, and he’s fantastic at making you feel comfortable when you’re in the chair. Any time I get into a conversation about tattoos, my first reaction is to refer them here. Currently, Brian doesn’t have a website for the shop, but you can find pictures of his tattoos and designs on Facebook, here:
