Lee’s Chop Suey

Love sweet and chicken, fried fish, and chicken wings my kids love! Always fast get orders right everytime I call no complaints. Been going here for 6 years and they’re better than Eat Rice in Homewood which used to be my fav chinese restaurant. I can’t recommend u eat in definitely a carryout spot.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. This food was terrible. I cannot believe that people on Yahoo gave them good reviews. The egg foo young was made out of some type of bread. It was horrible.

Don’t know why this place is rated so low with the exception of its location-​it is a rough neighborhood-​probably best to go in the morning/​daytime.
Their chop suey is PHENOMENAL. Love both the beef and chicken. It tastes fresh with plenty of veggies and well seasoned sauce without feeling sluggish from the MSG. Fried rice-​one of my favorites that I’ve ever had. Get the shrimp fried rice.
As for egg rolls… arguably the best I’ve ever tasted. When you get them fresh from the fryer, they are delicious. I am picky with egg rolls, so this one fits the bill for me. Well-​seasoned cabbage with bits of shrimp you can actually see and taste.
Overall assessment, great tasting food. Best to carry out instead of eat inside, and go there in morning/​daytime. Certainly not a place to miss because of one review.

The service has gone down since about 2010 and they give you less meat than before. There are always bums begging for change and now they are inside the restaurant begging for money. I found a centipede in my shrimp fried rice and I haven’t been there since. I go to Liang’s in Lansing now and you couldn’t give my any Lee’s product for free.
