IHOP

My kids and I went to Ihop the other night and our food was good but our waitress was HORRIBLE! her name was Jen she was blonde with a star tattoo on her neck. she didn’t make us feel welcomed or comfortable. When my kids were all trying to order i could tell she was extremely annoyed and when she walked away i heard her say «little Sh*t“under her breath. She seemed more annoyed to be there then wanting to be our waitress. Didnt even ask us how our food was, had to ask multiple times for water and could care less if she was being attentive or not. I understand being a waitress may not be a easy job but being nice to your customers is the easy part, unfortunately she failed at that.

Delicious! Thought I would be waiting for hours since it was packed but it was literally less than 10 mins. Waiter was super friendly and food was yummy and sooooo inexpensive.

Get the Funny Face, they’ve had it on the kinds menu for 25 years.

I love coming to Ihop for the pancakes of course. I come to the Ihop in Hasbrouck Heights rathe than the one in Teaneck because it is bigger. Today I visited Ihop and there was a reasonable wait time. We were a party of 6 and when our name was called the hostess JESS, was very rude in telling us they we could not be seating because 2 members of our party were outside looking for parking. Due to the fact that I work at a restaurant I understood, a fifth person came inside and she said we could not be seating. She proceeded to seat another party of 6. After that she went to another staff member and made a inappropriate comment about our party as we stood 2 ft away from her, someone should train her more properly or tell her to be more discreet when she talks about guests, that was very unprofessional and immature. I enjoyed my food, our server Kristofer was great, pleasant and very friendly. I will definitely be returning in hopes that Jess wakes up on the right side of the bed and better trained. My guests that were with me visiting from North Carolina were not so pleased.

Great service, fresh food and perfect fluffy pancakes! Would definitely put this location on my favs list.

It’s ok. Nothing special. No Taylor Ham. No Jersey Diner sausage. Don’t know why you would you would go there. When there are so many great diners within the area. The only great thing is the Butter Pecan syrup.

First time coming to I hop. It’s fast food breakfast but oh so good with the different syrups and condiments. They got the food out super fast which was awesome and the flip tables fast so even if you see a huge crowed your wait is about 15 minutes max. I would so do this again.

This place is very very dirty! I could’t even eat my order. It smells horrible. Needs some deep cleaning!

We actually were seated in the back section. Never sat there before as it used to be the old smoking section. Food and service were just ok. Ordered the chicken parm dinner and was just enough to fill me up. We lost our waitress for a good 10+ min when we were done, good thing we weren’t in a rush. Ihop still remains a just breakfast spot and just a meh spot for dinner. Head over to Perkins for a good dinner meal.

We went for all you can eat pancakes. We ordered eggs, sausage and PANCAKES and coffee with extra cream. It started when the waitress brought us extra milk then ran away. To be fair the place was very busy so 10 minutes later we managed to wave down another waitress who was kind enough to get us half and half.
15 minutes later our food was delivered by a different waitress. My eggs were cold so was the sausage… but when my honey cut into his pancake something squirted out. Now I didn’t hear him order squirting pancakes unless he whispered it to the waitress, you know please bring me some special pancakes that squirt cause it’s a boring day and I want to spice it up. So we examined them… eeek raw inside not completely just in the spot that squirt. (I’m glad he didn’t get me in the eye and mess up my mascara)
My pancakes were well done on the outside and mushy on the inside.AMAZING. Reminded me of a mouse pad… and for that reason Ihop I’m out.

This place sorely needs a pick me up. Their décor is dated, the parking lot needs to be blacktopped, it was slow when I went and its not hard to see why.
I did like my scramble (italian style). The server was quite perky and nice. No complaints about the food, but they need to bring their look forward. The train overhead just stays in place, back in the day it was working nonstop.

Came here during the all you can eat pancake promotion. Was in the mood for pancakes, so I decided to take advantage of this offer.
The food was decent. I got the eggs, hash browns and of course the all the you can eat pancakes. I was able to eat three stacks of pancakes, so I got a really good deal. The service wasn’t bad either.
I’ve also been here on other occasions as well. Their menu is quite large and their selection of food is big. The waffles are good and their omelettes are tasty.
I haven’t tried anything else other than their breakfast items, so I can’t really comment on their lunch or dinner items.

I only came here because I was traveling and it came up on my GPS.
Service was not good. Staff was getting into arguments with one another loudly and in front of customers. One young man served us, didn’t ask if we needed anything, and when my father asked for tartar sauce for his fish and chips, he came singing down the aisle and literally THREW a packet of tartar sauce at out table.
Plus the food was not good. It tasted cold like it had just come out of the freezer. Combine that with the fact that the whole staff was raised on a friggin’ barn yelling and hollering back and forth and you get one bad experience.
The manager clearly doesn’t give half a shit about how this place is being run. Its bad for the iHop name and the worst I’ve ever been to.

Rating this IHOP compared to others in the area. This one is relatively nice with good service. Has a cute train track near the ceiling for the kids to look at. Their window blinds could use a good washing.
Better than the hellhole IHOP in Fair Lawn and will do in a pinch if you’re craving a giant pancake breakfast. As aggravating as it is I also appreciate the calorie listing on the menu compared to mom and pop places where that info isn’t available.

Food was mediocre as well as the service. I was still hungry after having a western omelet 2 sausages hash brown and toast on the side. Portions were small.
