Great tasting burger, sweet potato fries were excellent. Awesome service and everything we (group of 4) had was delicious. Definitely would hit this place again when in Hastings. Automotive theme is unique and where else do you get your brick oven pizza served on a tire?

I was here once with some friends, one who is from Hastings and another from Lincoln. The atmosphere is really cute and you could see it was a local favorite as it was packed with middle school kids and their families. I’m assuming it was after a sporting event.
We sat at the bar and the owner chatted up my friend from Hastings and it was apparent he’d been in the business for some time and knew most customers personally.
We had margaritas from a brightly colored machine which was kind of fun, but they were just ok. I had a hard time ordering anything without gluten and they weren’t too aware of what the allergy involved. I figured steak was the safest thing on the menu along with some vegetables, the guy from Lincoln had the same. I think my friend from Hastings ordered fried shrimp or coconut shrimp which had always been her favorite but unfortunately I couldn’t try them.
The vegetable side was alright but the steak was pretty bad. Not at all prepared to the right temperature, I ate it anyway. I had to remove a lot of fat and even though everything should have been gluten free I didn’t feel well the rest of the night and interestingly neither did our other friend from Lincoln who also had the steak but is not allergic to gluten. Maybe just something with the preparation.
Service was friendly, portions were good, and prices seemed pretty reasonable. I may have just had bad luck with the food or maybe their best items are unfortunately things I’m allergic to, but it wasn’t my fav place in Hastings.

Excellent pizza and a decent burger.
BBQ chicken pizza had a nice flavor balance and a sprinkling of cilantro. Crust was pretty good also.
The theme of the place… every square inch… is racing and garage. Very cool.
The only thing I longed for were some craft beers. But that is hard to find in restaurants away from the major cities.

If you are ever in Hastings Nebraska, Kitty’s Roadhouse is a MUST visit!!! Owen and Kitty are the kindest of people, the staff and food are amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic!!! DEFINITELY put this on your list!

Come see Owen and Kitty. Best bar in Hastings NE. Clean and fun, the décor is awesome if you are a race fan! Great friendly service. They treated us as if we were family. And we had over 20 people with us.

In town another year and came right back here. The pizza is amaaaaazzing! Fun atmosphere. And… not many other places to choose from anyways. Hah. But even so, like this place. I only gave it 4 stars cuz of some service 101 issues soooooooo not perfect. But close! Worth checking out!

Love it!!! All the way from California!!! The Pizza the Best! Hey this might sound weird but we are from California. The bathrooms were so clean and graffiti! The beer so cold!!!

Kittys was the best lunch in the last week as we travel through many states, great friendly service, clean and nice décor, had the brisket sandwich, and chicken sandwich specials, terrific baked beans. Great stop on our way through the country.

Kitty’s Roadhouse has the best food in South Central Nebraska, hands down! I had a wood-​fired Sausage and Pepperoni pizza, and the flavors were phenominal. My son and daughter had Slider Kids Meals, and my wife had the Macho Nachos, all of which tasted amazing. Our server was very quick and attentive, and the service was great. We were surprised with how excellent the food was, especially with how fast it came out to us. My wife and I found so many different things on the menu we wanted to try, and with how good the food was here, we can’t wait to get back!

I’ve been here many times… This place is cute, it’s decorated for car lovers and they have a fun tiki style covered patio. The pizza is really good. Try the hamburger sauerkraut!

Brisket pizza was the best! Really delicious sauce. Can’t wait to go back and try something different!

Delicious cheesy garlic bread and awesome unique pizza. Good happy hour from 4 – 6 too, 2 dollar wells and domestics.

Great atmosphere, really enjoyed the pizza. They have 7 inch pizzas for personal eating and larger pizzas for groups. They think of a lot of details, for example, pizza is brought out to you on a plate that is on top of a small automobile tire. As themed restaurants go this was very well done. The service was also excellent, the servers seem to work as a team — I don’t think my drink ever got less than half full before somebody with a picture of water breezed by and filled it up. Very friendly wait staff as well. Would definitely go back.

I was driving through Nebraska and didn’t want to stop at a random chain along the highway; I much prefer to go through small towns and get food at local restaurants. I got off in Hastings due to the lure of the Kool-​Aid Man, and I I’m glad I found Kitty’s through Unilocal when I decided to stay for dinner. I saw the reviews of the buffalo wings, which made me steer my car right here, and they didn’t disappoint — especially since I happened to roll in on a wings special night. The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had (I got the mild BBQ sauce) and the homemade potato chips were also delicious. There were only six taps, but plenty of bottle options for beers.
Not only was the food great and quick, but the bartender, servers, and owner were all extremely nice. I stayed longer than I had planned just because I was enjoying the conversation. Friendly locals who don’t mind me asking 1,000 questions? I’m in. I just wish I didn’t have to be on the road because I would’ve loved to be there at night and have a few beers.
The vibe is fun, too. It’s all car/​roadhouse themed, down to the license plates on the wall and gas station pump holding the beer behind the counter. The place is super clean and has ample parking. If I ever find myself back in Hastings, this is where I’ll be stopping in again.
