They have Belly so check in at the front desk to get free things. The staff seated us promptly. We got hot tea and the usual noodles. This is a solid American style Chinese food restaurant So when I am craving my egg foo young This is the place to go I had an outdated coupon which I did not realize from Belly The owner still accepted it He was very nice so we got our fried dumplings The wonton soup is much better than the average place. Anything we have tried has been good So I recommend it Place is very clean and staff are super

The only reason why I’m giving this place two stars instead of one is because the staff was really nice. But everything else… I feel the food was made up of msg. After my meal, I was so tired and so thirsty. I don’t even remember how many glasses of water I drank. I had to keep asking the waiter to refill my glass. Although the food was decent and nicely portioned, it’s nothing to be excited about. Some dishes are too sweet, some are too salty, some that are supposed to be spicy are not spicy, etc. I don’t know if I’d go back. I feel like I would have to bring a gallon of Poland Spring with me if I do.

Came here for a birthday dinner for a friend and it was a large group so we had a fixed dinner menu. I opted to start with the hot and sour soup, which I liked. The dumplings I didn’t think were great. A little greasy and hard. General Tso’s Chicken was my favorite of the main dishes we had. Pepper steak wasn’t bad either and I actually liked the pork too. Fried rice was okay. Service was okay but it was hard to keep water glasses filled. This place looks a little upscale but it feels more casual. I’d go back.

Rather uninspired americanized Chinese food. Rather expensive for what you get. Spicy on the menu does not mean spicy on the plate. Service was ok.

(5-stars relative to the surrounding area establishments) I’ve been on a humble quest to sample the General Tso’s Chicken lunch combos at the dozen or so options within a short drive of my client site in Hauppauge. The fried rice that comes with the combo is the best(side-dish) I’ve had in Long Island. It actually has things other than rice in it, and tastes decent too. The chicken is also the best I’ve had out here, with actual white meat pieces that don’t leave you questioning if you just ate a shoulder tendon. A lunch combo also comes with a choice of egg roll or soup, which is nice to have an option. To top it all off, the staff are very polite and gracious, and the price is fair. I will be coming back!

From what I hear, Jade Garden is under new management recently. I guess this review is for the new management. Food here is pretty good for Chinese takeout. It is a clean and upscale take out restaurant and yes the price does reflect that. They don’t sell 2 size portions like a true chinese take out. If prices were better then I would give it an extra star. I don’t believe in spending $$$ for takeout… Nevertheless I would come back because the food is tasty and not as greasy as many other places…

Took advantage of a Belly Bites offer for 5 fried wonton with purchase. Ordered the chicken with cashews lunch and they included a choice of soup and a choice of rice. Food was good, started munching on noodles, then they brought out the wontons, the tea, and the entrée, in rapid succession. That may have been an issue if I was with someone, but overall everything went fine. Nice atmosphere, and pleasant décor as well. I’m sure you’ll be pleased!

Grabbed take out on a dark and stormy night. Was not disappointed, even with the«change of management». Dumplings where great and love the new containers(no spillage/dividers with combos so rice stays separate from your chicken and broccoli). Will definitely be back to try this new menu!

I was impressed by the quality if the menu, ordered the double delight combo for lunch and the flavors are above average, i prefer the throw in a few more pieces of chicken/shrimp instead of lots of celery, portion is below average, but you will get a fancy lunchbox with 2 compartment.

Just ok. The place is nice and the people are friendly. The ingredients are of good quality but the actual meal was not good. Food is served luke warm. The sauce for the dim sum was thick dark and salty. In short, pretty awful. I had the shrimp and scallops with garlic sauce. The shrimp and scallops were of good quality, however the garlic sauce was awful. Overall, skip this place unless you have no other choice.

Nothing like it used to be. Tried it for dinner and again for lunch. Will not waste my money. Food has no flavor and lunch dishes were cold.

Unfortunately my review for the«new» jade garden is on the old jade garden Unilocal.Jade garden did not move. It’s in the same spot and when I asked if it was the same owners they told me it was This used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant. After giving it a THIRD try as we were convinced by friends that third times a charm but in this case three strikes you’re out! We will not be returning, no way no how I don’t care who’s craving an egg roll. The vegetable fried rice is dry and tasteless. Chicken & broccoli is all hunks of broccoli in tasteless sauce and for the price they charge they should be ashamed. Roast pork lo mein was thick mushy tasteless noodles. I’m well aware I used the word tasteless three times but that’s the best descriptor of this«food». On a positive note the wait for take out is getting shorter.

Nice atmosphere and appealing seating style… nice waitresses and an owner that is concerned with customer satisfaction. so we really wanted to like this place… unfortunately, the food we ordered, chicken chow fun and sesame chicken, was very bland; not to the point of being tasteless, but definately not tasty.

This place recently reopened under new management. It looks like Unilocal reset something because there were many reviews before from the old restaurant and some new ones which are now gone but I guess it’s better to lose a few reviews than show bad ones from the old place, so if you have reviewed this check to see if it’s still here. Very nice looking restaurant, reminds me of what Chinese restaurants once looked like. The owner walks around and is very hands on. He looks like the manager of the Chinese restaurant in the Seinfeld episode where they wait for a table the whole night. Anyway, the service is outstanding, you don’t have to ask for crispy noodles or hot tea, they just bring it as soon as you sit. It’s not the cheapest around but it is the best. My wife and I have tried a couple different apps and everything has been great especially the ribs. So tender and flavorful. I’ve gotten the Peking Duck twice, I like that they told me it takes about 25 minutes to prepare and man was it worth it. It comes with the leg and wing on the bone and the rest boneless and comes with steamed buns, absolutely amazing!!! Fried rice is great and so is everything we’ve had.

Nah, nothing tasteful here, trust me. Jade Garden used to be the best. I went there last night and asked why we’re you closed for so long. The reply was«making no money» I know what the problem is. Between Nassau and Suffolk it feels like every week a new Japanese sushi restaurant is opening. Japanese food is back in a big way, Chinese not so much. And the new big Japanese sushi places also offers Chinese food. I feel bad because jade garden renovated the whole place. The first problem was as soon as you walk in the hostess was a very young white girl. She just looks so out of place. The dragon has slayed jade garden
