It is now called the Blue Moon. Depending on who is working you’ll either sweat your butt off or freeze. There’s a flashing light in the back that I have asked several times for them to fix because I have epilepsy and I love shopping there, but nothing has been done about it in over a year I preferred the old owner, but the business is still good and I love finding treasures there.

Jennie’s has been renamed«In a Blue Moon» antiques secondhand store. It’s still the same format, I’m not sure if it was sold to another owner or not, but nothing inside has changed. Still awesome.

A poem for Jennies: driving by and spying your empty storefront window gave me such a fright no! I cried aloud in despair thinking that you were gone another business doomed by that enemy … economy but a second closer look did not confirm my worst fear the sign said «closed for remodeling. will re-open jan 23»

I really don’t care much for shops like Jennie’s but this is where I bought the coolest couch of all time for $ 70. Pass!

Jennies is a great place to shop right in amazing downtown Haverhill! The outside is misleading as a small shop but it goes much deeper than you realize. If you are a bargain hunter or always on the search for unique items, add this shop to your list! And I agree with the previous review that said if you see something you like, buy it! Made that mistake once myself! The prices are incredibly low and there are bargains to be had on every corner of the shop!

I love Jennies and I am super lucky to live just down the street from it! The prices are cheap, cheap, cheap! The vendors that rent out space are required to change/organize goods on a biweekly basis, so there are always new items every time I’m in. I would consider myself a pretty serious thrifter, I’ve visited most on the North Shore. Jennies is my favorite! I got a laugh out of the other reviewers saying they didn’t want to share this gem. But I think the secret is out of the bag because every time I am there, there are many people wandering in and out. And if you’re lucky enough to catch a vendor when they are in, they will bart

A hidden treasure. I feel guilty even revealing this secret. Take the commuter rail to last stop Haverhill and walk about 5 blocks to Jennie’s. The store is massive and runs deep — from a cutesy shop opening to a long back corridor — there’s stuff piled and piled, stacked and stacked. They have everything — from clothes and accessories to knickknacks to downright real collectables. I got awesome matching 60s ashtrays and a fedora. There was some furniture, SOSOCHEAP. I spotted from VHS tapes and old cassettes — sweet! You know there’s real treasure around when you can find dubbed Beverly Hills 90210 on VHS. Score!

I scored today big time at Jennie’s. Its a consignment shop that rents booths and people fill them with antiques and crap they want to get rid of. One vendor was there today and I was able to barter with her. Got some sweet deals and didn’t spend more then $ 20. Most of the fun is looking and hoping to find something to add to your collection. Unfortunately, Jennies is not wheelchair accessible.
