These are the most rude people I have encountered since I have been in Havre de Grace. The staff was eating when I walked in which was about 12:15pm…typical lunch hour. The guy didn’t even want to take my order, but after standing there for about 10 minutes and with one of the other workers pleading with him to get up and take my order… he finally got up and stood behind the counter still chewing his half masticated food with a irritated scowl on his face. He then proceeded to tell me whatever I order will take at least 20 minutes. Clearly I will not be returning to this establishment.

Only thing I can say is they must have changed ownership because the food is toothsome. I thoroughly enjoy their«Spicy Shrimp» I’ll ask for extra sauce and it comes with a soup(which is mediocre, wouldn’t buy) Mouth is watering as I type this! Guess where I’m going for lunch!

The food wasn’t ‘bad’ like rotten or old, it just had ZERO flavor– none of it. We ordered pork egg rolls, Kung pow chicken, shrimp mai fun. We got shrimp Kung pow instead, no biggie. There was no spice to it, flaworless with mushy shrimp. The egg rolls didnt have any greasy goodness and were dry and had no flavor. No hot mustard packets to aid it either. Mai fun usually has a peppery curry smokey taste — this had none. And no fresh veggies to be found– just canned mini corns and water cress. There were fresh whole mushrooms in the Kung but it didn’t help. I added jerk seasoning to the Kung and curry and sracchia(rooster) sauce to the Mai and could eat it. But it was faaaaar from yummy. They did give us 2 free egg rolls, So that is nice of them, but they taste like cardboard. It doesn’t please me to be mean, but this food needs a kick in the pants(but I’m from Philly, so maybe this is MD Chinese???).

Maybe it was an off night, but I really wanted chinese food and this place had good reviews so i went for it. The menu is large and is typical for chinese, i ordered two combos; general tso and chicken lo mein. I also ordered cheese crab wontons. The good was ready in 10 minutes which was nice. I took it back to the house and opened the lo mein and it just smelled foul. The general tso wasn’t terrible but it felt more like i was eating deep fried cornstarch with general tso sauce. The crab wontons were so so. I’m very hesitant to go back. The good reviews on here do give me hope, maybe next time i’ll go when they’re not so busy and maybe the quality will be better?

I love Chinese food! The place is a bit outdated, but the food is good. The best that I have found for the money so far in Harford County. The outside of the restaurant needs to be weeded and painted a different color, but that doesn’t change the taste of the food. I have had a number of things here and they have all been good. You get a lot of food for the money. A lunch special will run you about the same price as a Mcdonald’s combo

This is the only place I will eat take out Chinese from. I have been eating here since they opened and am happy to say the quality has not changed. The food is excellent, the staff is amazing and the service is fast. Now I have noticed the last couple of times the servings are not as big as they used to be but I am willing to sacrifice less shrimp for the quality of food. I love Chinese food and I am very picky about it. I will only eat certain things. My children are the same way. So we usually order(and yes this is one order lol) 1. Sweet and Sour Chicken 2. General Tso’s Chicken 3. Shrimp Lo Mein 4. Hot and Sour Soup 5. Pork Friend Won Tons 6. Chicken and Broccoli I know what your thinking.“Where are the egg rolls”. We never order egg rolls because we get them free. For every $ 10.00 you order you get a free egg roll. They are so good. They still deep fry them and they are crispy with a generous amount of filling. The pork fried wontons are deep fried as well. They have a generous amount of pork and crispy outside. Their chicken is very tender and not just pieces. They give you big chunks of white meat. The sauces are good. The only thing I would warn about is if you get the Hot and Sour soup it could go both ways. Sometimes it is hot and sometimes very mild. But even when it is hot it is not on fire. It has just the right amount of spice. Another thing I order on occasion is Shrimp Mei Fun. It is is very good. They have the best rice noodles and very big shrimp. You get on average 15 to 20 shrimp in the dish. If you are in Havre de Grace and want take out this is the place to go.
