The best food ever. The fajitas are delicious. The seafood there is the bee’s knees. Don’t forget the desserts. I recommend that you come here.

Not only is the customer service here AMAZING but their food is INCREDIBLYBOMB!!! I’ve tried their Chile Verde, which is little pieces of pork meat with no bone in green sauce. You can pick spicy or non spicy. Served with rice and beans, tortillas, and salad for $ 7!(lunch Special). The sauce has a very smooth and full of flavor and the meat is cooked just right. Not hard and dry. I’ve also had their shrimp and fish tacos. I can’t think of one negative thing to say about them. I work fairly close, so this has become our go-to place for a friendly, welcoming environment and yummy authentic, Mexican food. Most def recommend this place ! Happy Unilocaling(:

This place was the closest to my home, I love it. Highly recommend this place. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos and the aguachiles; yet spicy but rich in flavor because of the good batch of limes they choose.

Great place, but I wish they still delivered 24⁄7. They have an awesome wet shrimp burrito.

Looked on Unilocal to find an authentic Mexican«dive» place(my fave) because I’m near here for a soccer tournament and the food was really good! From the chips and salsa to the enchiladas, rice and beans… yum!

I love eating here. The chips and salsa are always good and the food is great. My favorite is the mexican omlet. Its like a big fajita with egg instead of totillas. The music along with the ambiance makes me feel like i am eating somewhere in Ensenada mexico. The owner is also really nice. He is a Mexican movie star. The restaurant has dvds of his movies on display.

Was in the area to get cigars so swung on in to here. Really good place. I was in the mood for Menudo but they were out since 1300hrs. I arrived at 1600. Now that might sound like a problem, but he’ll no. That means they make it themselves instead of out of a can of Jaunita’s. I wanted breakfast kind of lounged around the house all day burned out from going to the USC game the entire day before. So I preferred the Carne Asada Ommalette. It was outstanding and would recommend it. I had the fairs(Chiliquiles) the morning before tailgating this was s good change up. They also give choices of Papas or hash browns also toast or tortillas. I took the papas and tortillas de Maiz. One comment I want to address is the moron who said if you aren’t afraid of walking to and from your car. I’m not from the area. Last time here was 30 years ago for a Quincenera(like a Sweet16). There was nothing dangerous at all around. If anything I would have been approached for being from out of town. I still have a look even after military and family life. It’s very safe right off of Carson Blvd. that being said I would suggest going site seeing through the nice well kept homes around the neighborhood either. Do yourself a favor skip el Torito and enjoy some good old school Mexican food. There is alcohol available for those that enjoy. I am a sober guy now.

This is a Mexican seafood restaurant. They have a special that I have been enjoying for 20 years. That is their special of three shrimp tacos and a drink. Now the price is $ 8 for this. To me, it is the best deal in Hawaiian Gardens and all surrounding communities. The shrimp tacos are cooked while you wait, you enjoy their very good salsa and chips. This is my go to place for good seafood. I keep telling myself I will order something new, but I never do. My wife loves this place also, and all others I bring here. Enjoy.

This has been me and family’s go-to Mexican restaurant for years! Honestly, this is the only Mexican restaurant we eat at! Because it is the best! I love the chips and salsa that they serve, while we’re in the process of ordering our entrees! The tortilla chips are so fresh and warm! As said in the other reviews, the wet carne asada buritto is a must have! I usually get the rice and beans on the side, I just enjoy it better that way! The chicken enchilladas are also really delish! The employees are really friendly, as well! Great food and great customer service! I highly recommend Mexican food lovers to try Casa Adelita! You guys won’t regret it!

If you are looking for the perfect wet burrito, you’ve found the best spot around. Everything I come here, they already know my order, the Carne Asada wet burrito with salsa verde. While you wait they serve you fresh, fresh meaning fresh off the fryer, chips and salsa. Possibly the best chips and salsa I’ve had a restaurant without paying extra for them. The burrito is filling and comes with a side of guacamole and sour cream. I’ve tried the other items on the menu and they are all really good but I usually just stick with the wet burrito or the 3 taco combo for $ 6.99. Definitely worth the visit here!

This place is THE spot if you: Enjoy the danger of walking to the restaurant after you park… and back after you’re done. Exhilarating I tell ya. Love chimichangas. Best I ever had #drizzy Unable to discern a clean cup from a dirty one due to translucent properties of their plastic whether it be scuffs or age. Even when sober. Appreciate a dense wet burrito. Are drunk and need a late-night spot — 12pm weeknights and 3am Saturday. Have the patience to wait while orientals loiter for 35 minutes after their meal(limited seating). Enjoy deafening mariachi music from the jukebox.

Bad customer service… I think we were asked about 2x if we were okay. Not only did the waitress mess up on our order. 20 mins just to get our check. Word of advice, don’t eat the pastor meat, it’s gross. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because of their micheladas, pretty tasty.

I found this place a while ago when I had a craving for ceviche, but I always got it to-go. Their service is friendly and prices are reasonable. My husband and I finally went to dine-in and we were not disappointed. Friendly service. Warm, crispy tortilla chips with fresh, delicious salsa. Side of guacamole is pricy for a little bit(volume was as much as a dish of salsa), so I wouldn’t recommend ordering it as a side, but if you’re really craving it, it’s good. We had their dinner specials — a carne asada wet burrito and two tortilla ceviche. Generally, I’m not a fan of wet burritos, but I read that it was really good, so I tried it – and, man, that sauce! Absolutely delicious for a good price. Oh, and yeah, I love their ceviche!

I honestly love this place. I know it may have many downfalls for the area, service, environment but I can’t help but keep coming back. So instead of giving my very bias review, I will state facts that would be helpful instead. There is usually only 1 or 2 servers at most, which are usually always females. Some are nicer than others and some have better English than others(with that being said, your order will still be understood and if worried, you can always just point to the number on the menu). Very rare times, there is ONE male server whom I think could be the manager but if you get him, your in luck. He’s pleasant and nice to have. Most of the time(9⁄10) they will be playing VERY loud music, mostly in the Spanish genre. So I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re trying to have an intimate or quiet time. They give you FREE chips and salsa(refillable). Though that may seem very basic in your mind, their salsa is rather quite yummy. Just be careful not to overstuff yourself fried tortillas, which usually happens every time. Their horchata is hands down the best within a 50 mile radius! Unfortunately, it is NOT free on refills tho :[ And if in the event you happen to get a very grainy, cinnamony drink its because they are at the last cups of what they have. But don’t refrain from asking to get a new batch or have it switched out. Lastly, you get free lollipops. Just like the dentist would give you for behaving :]

First came here on a recommendation from one of our softball players after a game. This place is great! Everything I’ve tried is just like your grandmother would have made it. Very good customer service and great for family and group gathering.
