BBQ chicken was good and moist, but that’s it. Spicy chicken was sweet, not spicy, and not very good. Chow mein and fried rice were bland. Portions were large with low prices, though, and customer service friendly.

I’m not sure these ladies have ever heard of customer service. Awful service so I was hoping for good food at least, and noooo… It was disgusting. Try another place.

Best fast food Chinese in the southbay! Always fresh and the customer service is excellent. Portions are huge for a dirt cheap price. Peppered pork and bbq pork an extra 75 cents in your combo but both are worth it! Best Cream cheese wontons I’ve had in LA

Great place! My favorite part? That tri-lingual server extraordinaire behind the counter. She is knowledgable, sweet, quick and she makes me feel comfortable. I’m sorry that I don’t know your name, but you are the all star of this business. Food is excellent, buffet style but fresh and rotated. Location is perfect– plenty of parking. This business definitely in need of some renovations. Bravo.

Husband went here yesterday and found a metal shard in his food! What the heck! There’s nothing you can do once you’ve already taken the food home because they would have denied it came from their restaurant anyways. So disappointing! Won’t be risking that again!

I have had decent food at similar places in the area and despite all the average to above average reviews, I perhaps came on a bad day. I picked up lunch within the hour at this establishment and could only muster to eat half. I think one of the reasons this place got a «B» is that the steam table does not work. All of my food was room temperature at best. The Orange Chicken had a «gamey» taste to it. The Beef and Broccoli was the same as one reviewer had described it. The Beef were large chunks and chewy, further do not think the broccoli was even cooked or steamed and most of the stem was still present. Dont think I will be considering this place again as a viable food option at any price.

I’ve been coming here often for the past few years and for a fast food Chinese joint, it’s decent. But what makes this place stand above the other joints in the area is the service, the price and the PORTIONS!!! The staff is always super friendly and give advice on how to get the best deal. The price is lower than other Chinese fast food joints in the area and their portions are HUGE!!!

Solid fast food Chinese restaurant. On par with Panda Express, but their food is slightly greasier(which is sometimes what the customer wants) and the portions are much more generous for a slightly lower price. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to call the Department of Public Health about, either. Perfect for a greasy fix, heat lamps and MSG included. I tried the chow mein, the fried rice, the orange chicken, and the broccoli beef. All of it was pretty okay — nothing amazing, yet nothing bad. I’d probably come here again if I was craving junk food. What I appreciate most about this place is that they’re one of the few fast food restaurants in the area I’ve visited(taco joints included) that have managed to keep their prices pretty darn low. I was happy to be able to pay for a pretty good-sized combo and a drink and end up paying closer to $ 5 than $ 10. I always feel ripped off when I end up spending $ 10 on one fast food meal. The portions here are enormous, too, which makes them perfect for sharing or spreading out across 2+ meals.

Came here for lunch after a meeting for work and it was popping! Good sign! Standard quick-fix Chinese food, with a diverse menu, combos aplenty and surprisingly lots of soup options. They also had fried whole tilapia if that’s your thing, so kudos to them. Cheap furniture but it was well-maintained and clean. The servers were very nice, a big-plus. I had the Wor Wonton Soup, which was surprisingly good and comparable to what I’d receive at a sit-down restaurant. At just over $ 6, I appreciated the value. My co-workers all enjoyed their meals as well. If I was a local I’d come here for cheap eats.

This location used to be my go-to Chinese food place because the food was always so good, despite what other people thought of it. I always used to get the same thing: chow mein, broccoli beef, and orange chicken. However, lately the broccoli beef has been very disappointing, which is why I only give this place 3 stars. The beef is difficult to chew and the pieces are becoming larger and ugly. Before, the beef was finely cut and so fresh… delicious. Now it’s ehh, i’ll go to Panda. However, I won’t give less than 3 stars because their rice is still amazing– love it! :)

Came here for a quick bite on my lunch break. The food was decent. I got the kung pao chicken and spicy shrimp along with the fried rice and chow mein. None of those stood out to me in taste, but they give very large portions for the price. For $ 6 two people can be satisfied. It tastes like Panda Express but cheaper and bigger portions.

I mean this joint is always crowded so it must be good right. Yes and no. First of all I’m not a fan of these Chinese take out joints so I may not be the best person to judge this place. Food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t nothing I couldn’t live with out. All in all I get the ehhh feeling about this place. If I’m hungry and can’t think of anything better and I do mean ANYTHING then I settle for this. Knowaboutit

Came here with a friend on a whim craving Chinese food… and I must say the prices are cheap and the food is good. What more can you ask for? I got the Chicken & Mushroom /and orange chicken. fortunately it was not TOO sweet which was a plus. Come try it.

For fast food this place is worth stopping for. The chow mein, rice, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken was just right. I was going to add some hot sauce but didn’t need to since it was already hot and spicy. I also ordered for a friend at work and he ate the whole combo plate in one sitting.

It has a ‘B’ so you know it has to be good. That’s what I kept telling myself as I walked in, mostly joking because I know if it had a ‘C’ I’d still be eating here. I’m a sick bastard. Typical fare as others of these types of joints with a couple interesting twists. Sweet & sour spicy chicken which was some sort of chicken wing surprise dish, and a spicy chicken dish that was pretty decent. I wasn’t up for the wings but I went with the old mainstay, the orange chicken. Best damn orange chicken I’ve had from one of these joints in a long time. Not only were there identifiable chicken pieces in it(and I didn’t even have to break open the breading to look for it), but there was a hint of orange flavor! I know, you’re saying, «Jason you dunce, it’s called ORANGE chicken for a reason.» «Bah,» I reply, most of these places CALL it orange chicken but it tastes like randomsweetchickendish. Before you go running over here, keep in mind I’ve been eating some pretty crappy Chinese food for you Unilocalers to find something decent, so best damn orange chicken in a while is a relative term. I give the orange chicken a 3. Another thing I liked about this place is that it’s in a pretty nice plaza, you don’t even feel like you’re in Hawthorne. That’s sweet. The downsides were the lack of clean tables, with most of them having bits of rice, chow mein, or inappropriately used Sriracha on them. Foodwise the letdown was the chow mein. Not only was it the nuclear orange color a lot of these shops seem to like(please let me know if there is a valid reason for the color), but this was al dente to the extreme. It wasn’t supposed to be a fried noodle, but it was a bit dry. If it weren’t for the tables being dirty(combined with the ‘B’ rating) and the chow mein, this might have wrangled 3-stars.
